Nofitication LED in sync with light sensor - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

The notification LED gets very dim in low light as it follows input from the light sensor. I have disabled auto brightness and its still same.
Is there a mod for having constant notification LED brightness ?

LED light always on when idle

Anyone know why my LED light is always on when the screen is off?
I have no alerts, a full battery, no new messages, etc..
It was a yellow solid light then i installed light flow lite and it changed to green.
I've tried to eliminate any color that uses green to find what is using it, but for some reason it always comes on when I turn the screen off.
Its a known issue with Light Flow for the US sg3.

How to disable ambient lighting controlling Notification LED intensity?

Everyone knows that the intensity of the notification LED is depended on the ambient light intensity, on a bright situation the LED glows at it's full brightness and in a dark situation it fades and much lower intense. I am rooted, is there any way I can change this behaviour and make the LED bright always, other than flashing a custom kernel. Light Manager did work for this on Note 2, but it's not working on S4, I mean the brightness part.
Thanks in advance.
I didn't know the intensity can change depending on the light level. To my eyes it looks the same at any light level. I am sure Tasker can control this, I decided to control my LED with tasker because as powerful as Lightflow is, it's just not flexible enough, their selling point is the amount of apps and the ability to take over led, vibration, and sound... i want to control my led's colour, duration and intensity and only Tasker can achieve this tbh.

Thanks. Tasker never popped in mind. But as I have never used it, I have no idea how to use it. Could you please guide me, on the LED part only? How to achieve what you said?

LED Indicator brightness

Been using Lightflow to change the LED indicator colors but cant find the brightness. The phone has like 10 detected LED lights according to the app but all of them are set to off and i still see the LED but the brightness is nowhere near what my S4 was.
Just a quick little tidbit for everyone, the app does have a LED Brightness setting but it was set to 100%, so this phones LED is nowhere near as bright/big as the Galaxy S4.
I'm trying to turn the brightness down but the setting has no affect.

AOD brightness is way to dim at night

Hi
The AOD seems to be bright in the morning but when it gets darker in evening it remains readable for only a few seconds and then dims down so badly that one cannot read anything on the AOD at night when there is pitch darkness.
I did set the brightness option in the AOD settings but that doesnt seem to help at all.
I'm not using Auto Brighness control also for the display.
Anyone else seeing this particularly at night?

Yes, in low light conditions the aod is to dim...in normal light conditions the aod is good!
Hope they fix it in an update!
Are you using any type of screen overlay?
Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
Yes i use Lux-Autobrightness, but deactivated the overlay-right. Otherwise some system animations wont work...like blur in the power off screen, also you cant install non playstore apps with some type of overlay active (android security-feature). But Lux is not the problem, aod is also to dim without lux! Aod simply sets the screen brightness to low in dark enviroments.

Disable Always on Display light sensor

Hey guys,is there anyway to disable the light sensor on AOD, because I have the famous pink line and when I have the AOD on and I'm in a environment with lights it turns on heavily, flashing the pink line and draining battery,I want to know if there's a way to make the always on display the lowest brighter as possible
