So on my last few phones, I used an app with Xposed to change my icons system-wide, but since xposed isn't on nougat yet, is it possible in any other means with the v20?
Thanks

Is there an Xposed Framwork for nougat? I want to use xposed installer on my CM 14.1 but i can't find any xposed framework for nougat that i can flash.
No, there is no Xposed for Nougat (yet).
And soon we'll see Android 8! This time the development of Xposed for the latest Android version completely failed.

Yeah, after I read his post I must take my words back. Big thanks to rovo89 for the whole xposed project which turned Android to a whole new universe. In the end he has real life and working on Xposed is more like a hobby for him.
he'll do it in his own time. I'm sure once it hits we will all celebrate .
But for know we must be patient lol
Is there a working Xposed framework that can be used with the OP5? I'm coming from the LG V10 and have been using Xposed framework with the G3/G4 tweaksbox in Xposed which was awesome for moding everything about system (getting date on status bar, etc.). Is there anything like that for OP5 or OP in general?

Xposed has nothing to do with certain phones. Unless Xposed is released for Nougat, which doens't look like it's going to happen, you'd have to downgrade to a MM ROM to used Xposed on the OP5. Short answer, no.

Ok, thank you. But we do have Magisk, which I thought was based on Xposed? Are there mods through Magisk similar to the Xposed tweaks I mentioned that work on OP5? I see a bunch of listed modules in Magisk Manager, but none that are system level mods.
Magisk has nothing to do with Xposed..

Magisk is the root management part of the equation and it does have some modules, but nothing near what Xposed offered. Someone more involved would have to speak to the exact reason (I suspect xposed hooks into many more aspects of /system than Magisk does, or has the ability to do), but it does offer some functionality. The modules you mentioned aren't likely going to be offered though.
Official Xposed for nougat has been released
Anyone tested this out yet on stock rooted OOS?

Has anyone heard any news on development of xposed framework for android pie. Really miss xposed edge and gravity box.

the virtual xposed serves with very few modulos. I am waiting for xposed like all so I can use the module flat style bar indicator. I hope it's soon..
I tested out this edxposed for pie everyone is raging about. Works pretty good. Ha vent had any boot loops like the beta 3 on the official xposed. Gravity box works pretty good for just being released. I would make sure you have a magisk uninstaller just in case it doesn't like your device.
Also make sure running riru core v11 most up to date one
I'v including all things needed to get you going
so pretty exciting news for those who love xposed and gravity box!!

If you have already acquired root and have magisk, you can try this.If you have already acquired root and have magisk, you can try this. I don't have a gravity toolbox installed, but I use some modules.
TaiChi-A framework to use Xposed modules with or without Root/Unlock bootloader, supportting Android 5.0 ~ 9.0.
