I have a Stock Samsung S7 from AT&T running Nougat.. I've tried https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-s7-edge/how-to/root-s7-s7edge-oreo-nougat-t3819616 to root my phone, The odin does it's thing.. the Root.bat does it's thing.. I get no errors, the phone reboots and has Flashfire, SuperSU, and Sefix apps on the phone that weren't there before. But I'm getting no root. I have tried every method under the sun that google has shown me on trying to root this phone, I have tried multiple ways from the various root processes here on the forums.. nothing...

I have been recently trying to root my Note 3 and have had no success. However I have noticed today that my battery drops in an unbelievably short time. My battery settings shows "yumie32" using 52% CPU and nothing else. Anyone have any idea what this is? I cannot find any apps or files associated with this and there is nothing when I do a search. I have a screen shot I will attempt to attach. Thanks for any help.
Post lacks information .
What model
What root method .
Hi!
I've got same problem. Root was unsuccessful. Yumie32 using CPU.
Root app: kingroot
Device: sm g900f
Anyone can help me?
Yeah, i just tried to root my samsung phone yesterday with kingroot and it is dying extremely fast! Help!
Factory reset your phone
Flash new stock firmware from sammobile by Odin
Don't use kingroot for rooting your device anymore
Try another method
Use samsung kies to restore your app & contacts & Msg ... etc
I've never used Kingroot but I'd like to know. Is it really a malware?
I think you must choose the Odin method....Kingo root is a worst method.
Hello I don't know if I can ask here but I can't root my device. I have tried almost everything, from the apk's and even on my laptop. I have a Lenovo A816 running on 4.4.4. I just got this phone, I'm actually an Apple user but my iPhone is being repaired right now. It's safe to say I don't know anything about Androids. I've looked all over google for guides on this phone but nothing comes up. I really want to uninstall some of these system apps. I've tried King root, Vroot' iRoot' framaroot, oneclickroot. I've literally tried every one of them to no avail. When I switched to my laptop, I used Kingo Root and it said root was successful but when I tried root checker it said my root is not installed properly, so no root again. Is there anything I can do to root it. This phone is Chinese. I'm in the UK.
Thanks

Pretty much the title. I've used the newish method. Using the engineer eng_usa AP. I've used the original supersu download that floating around. And also the one that's from aole..something? I forget what it's called.. it was on page 664 or something of some verison s7 thread. No idea where it is now.. needless to say in both adb supersu commands, I get it to work, it roots. But continuously loses root after a few hours, if that. It tells me to update the binaries and the only way that I can find to fix to get root to work again, is a complete reinstall process of the original stock, then modified Ap, the adb su command. I'm so tired of this. Please, why is it losing root? I've reinstalled this b.s. so many times. The only thing I can narrow it down to is (probably nothing) the very last thing I did was change my theme and icons though the Samsung store. Why does it keep losing root? I'm using 7.0 N
I have a 3 year old galaxy s7 edge. And recently i tried to root it, and i think i didn't succeed in that completely. Because with root checker my device shows its rooted. But my supersu got disappeared after couple of hours. And i tried to install other root managers (king root) but now i cannot get root access to any apps.
My device is still rooted as per root checker. What should i do now? How can I unroot the device?
Which rom are you running?
And is a custom recovery installed on your phone?
Ultimately you want to unroot your phone?
Just want to do some banking
Stock android 8.0. And i haven't installed any custom recovery either. This is not my daily driver. This was my brother's old phone. So i haven'tdone any thing interesting to this device. I was simply using this for a second sim card only. Now i want to do some banking transactions from this phone and those apps doesnt let me from a rooted device. Is there an easy way to unroot this? Or an easy way to hide the root for the apps to work?
