[q] nexus 4 heating problems! Help needed to reduce heating

hello friends, i have a nexus 4 whuich is around a month old ! in india it costed me around 400 hundred dollars !i wanted to know if there are few ways by which i can reduce heating issues for it .
Whenever i paly games in it like need for speed most wanted or PES 2012 it gets heated up very soon.
my google nexus 4 is NOT ROOTED !
Is there any solution to this heating???
and shuld i ROOT ?

It gets heated up very fast, big deal. That's how processors work, let them work and they heat up.
What's your problem with it? Phone feels hot?
Get a custom kernel and use undervolt and or underclock, that helps to reduce heat, but not significantly.

Yes there is a problem! A massive problem! It heats up so much that it hurts sometimes when talking!!

after i replace my yureka phone mobile get heating and battery drain continuesly plz fix this problem

Same here...its heating like hell any body has a solution to that....? Thanks in advance.

YU ice Bucket challenge
To all those facing YU heating problem,
GO! take an ice bucket challenge...
Seriously there is no solution to it ask the Micromax Knight people they would like to share their toaster......
it all comes to the Chipset and the 8 cores and unstable RAM due to software glitches which causes the Heating and battery suck-up..
so nothing can be done but to wait for an update or a patch that solves the bugs.......which can eventually help all of us.

Go into Settings - Battery and check what app is eating your battery. Also, use the Huawei Phone manager app to close apps that are consuming resources.

Many thanks for your reply, i did that even i got 100% optimize with phone manager but i still feel it goes so fast i had Honor 6x that Battery i feel it's better than P10 Plus i really don't know why. If anyone has a solution for my issue please share it with me.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but battery on the P10 Plus just sucks.
I had the device for 2 weeks and it was the worst battery I have ever had in a phone.
I already returned it and bought a Mate 9 Pro, which is virtually the same device, but I can't say I would recommend it because I haven't fully tested it yet.
I will keep posting my findings on the battery thread.

Pls C103 users, how did u solve the phones heating problem when gaming. Will a custom rom help or should I underclocking d cpu.. Pls help the heating up to 50°c is ruining my gaming.. BTW how long does ur C103 battery last cause I feel mine is not lasting as a 4000mah should.
