Since 19th, ZF2 is fully passing CTS & basicIntegrity again with unlocked Bootloader.
SafetyNet has been updated and will now tell CTS profile false on Zenfone with unlocked bootloader. previuosly open bl alone did not trigger it, as long you didnt had root. as there is no kernel source for ZF2 it will not be possible to create a patch and Magisk can't hide BL status without it. so be warned. only way is RELOCK
If Gpay doesn't want to play nice, then they don't get my money.
Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using Tapatalk
GPay never meant to run on 'uncertified' devices, just Google didn't check bootloader state before on ZF2, as long the ROM was Stock it worked.

Kernel source is available for ZenFone 2, but custom kernel isn't a requirement for Magisk Hide as long as the kernel is at version 3.8 or higher.

Can I ask how to re-lock BL in easy way, thx
Have you tried to install BORETS ROM then? The stock based one with his custom kernel and Magisk pre-installed?
I am using Magisk 17.1 and I checked the SafetyNet via MagiskManager and it said both CTS and basicIntegrity check are true.
Am I missing something here? Or my SafetyNet isn't updated yet?

Welcome Guys!!!
Whats this thread?
We all know that magisk is a great tool for android. Also, chainfire's supersu is great too. Now, when using Nightly ROMs, we have to flash unroot zip and then the root zip everytime we update our rom.(Not necessary but those who like magisk/supersu have to). Now, I created a zip which will automatically unroot your ROM and flash the magisk/supersu root.
Procedure
Simply flash this zip like any other zip and reboot!
Download
For Nitrogen OS (Normal to Magisk):-Download From Here
For Nitrogen OS (Normal to SuperSu):- Download From Here (Needs Testing)
For Any LineageOS Rooted ROMs (Normal to SuperSu):-Download From Here (Needs Testing)
For Any LineageOS Rooted ROMs (Normal to Magisk):- Download From Here (Needs Testing)
Please post your requests for other unroot and root zips here, if possible, I will make it for sure!!!
Credits
@xyyx For his awesome rom and unroot zip
@topjohnwu For his magisk root
@abhishek987 For providing the updater script code in his RR build. Thanks a lot buddy.
Guys, please hit thanks if I helped, it'll help me a lot

Just tested and it works perfectly. Thanks.
I have already flashed unroot and supersu. Will this zip delete supersu or do i need to reflash the rom?

1. Open Magisk Manager and activate option 'Magisk Hide'. If it's option already 'On', try 'Off' at first, then again 'On'.
2. If U using SuperSU as superuser app... Use suhide to hide SuperSU visibility for system.

This is not new. SafetyNet passes despite the recent issue because you aren't using any module.
Also I don't think this is the right section. ?

Hello everybody,
I'd like to test the "new" B05 on my Axon G, just to see if my battery is better with the stock rom.
But i have a small question. My bootloader is unlocked, my phone can't pass safetynet without a trick in the kernel.
Somebody know if a "safetynet" kernel is avaiable for our stock G variant? or i need to relock my bootloader?
Thanks for your lights

Magisk is your friend, search the board. Ask google. No special kernel needed.

You can use my guide if you want to return safely to stock - over at Guides, News Discussion
And about safetynet, you'll pass if you follow the guide that's on the XDA articles. That article you sent is from October 2016 lol
I've been passing SafetyNet for at least two weeks but only tested two days ago. Now that they updated safetynet you might need to execute those commands in order to delete stuff and whatnot, and it will pass
Effectively, it's work !! thanks all.
What i do. :
Backup everything. Titanium etc...
Reboot in recovery, backup on OTG
Wipe everything (system/data/cache etc...)
Send via adb twrp zips files (bootstack, system and magisk)
Installed TWRP version bootstack and system.
reboot recovery
Installed Magisk.
Reboot and it's work
Now i need to check if i can have more thant 4 SOT

For me it's working, I use the magisk on meticulous twrp and the safe bet fix, then update by the magisk manager.
What kind of safetynet fix you installed?
I can't get safetynet pass..
I tried to install safetynet fix beta 5 for v14 on v14 then updated to v15.3; then i tried beta 5 (the other version) both on v15 and 14. ?
