This is ridiculous. I've downloaded this game twice. I can login, enter lobby, do whatever i want in the settings. I can even get connected to the match. But as soon as i hit jump button to fly outside of the bus, game automatically throws me out to the lobby with a network error.
And this game lag's alot on this device, even on lowest graphics settings. & Ever since i installed this game, I never heard "Clear" in-game audio. It's always cracking.
I'm on open beta 19 rooted with magisk (safety net passed)
So guys please help me with this thing.

That's because you're rooted. Go to settings, disable bootloader unlocking and ADB, go to Magisk, enable Magisk hide, enable hide for Fortnite and repackage Magisk app. Next time Google before posting a thread as this is known for months now.

I've posted this on Gameloft's forums and emailed them several times about this issue, and have only gotte "We'll give you something free" in response. Not even a hint of troubleshooting. So, I want to find out if anyone else has had this issue and figured a way around it:
I have a profile on the device, as does my son, with some restrictions.
The game downloads and plays fine on my profile. however, when I run it on his profile, the game launches and then tells me there is a network error and it can not download the additional information that is required to run. I've defaulted the device, turned off the restrictions, disabled and re-enabled Google Play Store, and uninstalled/re-installed the game and nothing seems to work.
I know for a fact it's not a network error, as I can get online with it fine from his profile. Is this a permissions error that Google has yet to fix or something?

Maybe use root Explorer or equivalent and give it root permissions. Not sure that will work just my two cents

Hi so been on 7.0 for at least a month and just last two days phone was being really buggy so I turned the phone off and back on phone didn't prompt for password to boot.
Is there a way I can save the whole phone on to drive to send to someone to take a closer look to see what virus is on here Im guessing it's a rootkit some how also what way would you run packet capture to see things that way?

a virus would be software related...if you did a full wipe and installed fresh software and it continues it might be an app you keep installing...do you get your apps from the playstore or side load as well

playstore only before my phone was locked boot loader and encrypted to have to use pin to boot device.
AS SOON as i get the buggy phone and reboot when it boots up it no longer request pin to boot. on stock rom i was rebooting phone every week to see how long it would take and usually nothing odd until phone got buggy for reason of the reboot.
the buggy issue is shortly opening an app the app will freeze so i hit home nothing happends try to turn the screen off nothing happends until a minute later sometimes phone will reboot its self or i hold power to make it reboot but both take about same amount of time when phone goes into full freeze.
so it being a playstore app and the virus not getting detected google needs to look into how they can patch this...
so im putting this out there so this person or group doesnt forever have a backdoor into peoples phones.
this issue i have had since november last year but havent been so aware about the issue till august. since august ive been dealing with know some how they are getting in and must be an app but i got rid of all games and weird apps that are not nessisary
abs workout, esfile explorer, google+,mint personal finance, tapatalk, accuweather, alaskausafcu, amazon kindle, android auto, android device manager, android pay, calculator, chrome browser, chrome remote desktop, clock, cloud print, contacts, es task manager, facebook, family locator, favorite frequencies, fing, garmin connect, gci my usage, gmail, google, google calendar, google camera, google docs, google drive, google goggles, google keep, google keyboard, google news, google now launcher, google opinion, google photos, google play games, google play music, google txt to speech, hulu, keeper, look out, malwarebytes, maps, messenger, eset mobile security, pandora, playstation phone, phone, shazam, sixaxis controller, skype, speed test, usaa mobile, vlc for android, wifi analyzer, xbox, youtube, zombies run
these are all the apps ive had since ive had this issue.
i was hopping that esfiles exploreres new feature of being notified of new files would help solve this but some folders it doesnt detect like youtube or google music even though in es files explorer i unlocked ability to view the .nomedia
Drop ES File Explorer, to start. Read this article, or do some googling about it on your own;
https://www.androidpit.com/this-is-why-you-should-not-use-es-file-explorer
I have to agree with the article when it says Solid Explorer is a great replacement. I've used it for years now and it's never let me down.
The fact of the matter is, if you manually wiped all of your phone and formatted your internal storage, nothing remains from pre-wipe. If your issue is coming back it can only be a hardware issue (if applicable) or some app you are using, as previously mentioned.
Furthermore, after googling your exact issue I came to find that certain apps that require 'Accessibility Services' can and will disable your pin/password/pattern on boot. Check if any of your apps fit the bill in 'Settings > Accessibility > Services'
Disable any apps which are enabled and reboot. You may have to set up pin, etc., again, but leave the services disabled and see if the issue returns. Let us know!
Edit: Upon more googling, I've found reports of people who had the issue return after disabling & uninstalling the apps in question as well. You may need to flash stock images again and do not install any apps that require accessibility services, or don't grant any of them permission even once.
Edit2: Just another link to check out;
https://blog.g3rt.nl/android-lollipop-encryption-user-interface-flaw.html
Edit3: Issue tracker link; https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=219498
Edit4: If you logged into your bank app and factory reset or flashed factory images, logging in again after the wipe/flash will show as a new device. Same goes for having login alerts set for Google / Facebook, etc. Your same phone shows as a new device after the flash or wipe. Guaranteed not a virus.

Thank you! I tried googling but guess I wasn't doing it properly.
I turned off keeper nothing.
I un installed it nothing.
I dont know how to re enable boot encryption pin.
the phone says it is so I'll try clean install again and just not allow keeper anymore I think the issue has come up just after turning keeper on to allow the accessibility features.
Thank you I will keep you informed give it till February if nothing odd happened.

As of November 16th 2017, Amazon tablets had a new firmware that improves performance, notifications on status bar, and much more! But, the bad thing is, is that the install button to get apk files that aren't from the appstore is greyed out and cannot be installed! But there is a solution and thanks to a YouTube video I found by "liliputing", I am able to get unknown apk's installed successfully. Here are three ways to do it:
First method is to put the device into sleep mode and unlock it, go to the apk you wanted to download, and BOOM!
Second way, switch app and switch back to the app you're using to get an apk installed.
Finally, go to settings, go to security, and turn unknown sources off and back on.
If you don't understand what I am saying, watch this video I made:

It seems this APK sideloading bug is a AOSP bug specific to 5.1 Lollipop caused by the October security patches - https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/67884224
Hopefully it'll get fixed in a future update at some point.

Track down a Bluetooth or USB OTG keyboard. Once attached you should be able to navigate to the install button via tab key. Once highlighted it should activate via enter/return key.
Also make sure Blue Shade is disabled in child profile as screen filters can disrupt installation of 3rd party apps (Android security feature).

Thanks, this worked for me. Using MI TV Box 3S (16AB). It also enabled just after pressing the voice command button and latest back button. No idea why it's happening, but found a solution.
I'm trying to disable Play Protect in the menu of the play store and/or in Google services menu and the option to do so isn't there. I have a 918 on 10k. Also need help disabling my own personal Hate for Google button.
I came here from a Google search. The option has disappeared on my phone too. I only switched it off a few days ago.
Now it is back on with no option to turn it off. I can only guess Google have deliberately removed the option
My phone is Doogee BL5000 if that makes any difference. Android 7.0

Same. I Googled it, and my phone and Tab s2 tablet do not have the option Google says I should have. I do not even have the option in my phone setting-google services-security to disable "verify apps". I play around with Lucky Patcher sometimes and the play store calls it a virus but now I'm getting a 504 error updating Kaspersky. Everything else updated. I feel it's related.
Why turn it off?

I also use LP and there's an option to disable play protect within LP, then again we shouldn't talk about LP on xda.
I'm getting warnings about 2 apps, the one that can not be mentioned and SELinux Switch. I don't mind Google protecting us but they should at least allow us to disable it if we are confident.
There's no option to disable Play Protect any more. If you choose to "use anyway" you are still stuck with permanent explanation notifications and a permanent warning in Play Store
I can't find any information about this even from Google themselves
Hope somebody on this site can find a fix for this

I must have found the same info as you did. Are you having any issues updating any apps? There should be no reason my anti-virus won't update right now. I did just install xposed and activate the module for the "the app that cannot be named". I'll try to uninstall it when I get a chance.

No, not that I've noticed. Apps are updating as normal as far as I can tell. I do have Magisk and I'm having issues with getting SafetyNet status. Maybe that is affecting something

No option for me to turn off. Nothing in settings. Auto updated itself today.
I was just curious if pokémon go is possible on the switch since there is no GPS. If there is a possibility even with a spoofing app, how would one go about installing it on the switch. Thanks in advance.

Good morning, a week ago I was trying to install Pokemon Go on the switch to use Fake GPS ....
Unfortunately I saw 2 barriers.
1- The Switch does not have GPS, an essential requirement for most Joysticks.
2- We cannot connect the switch via ADB. This would also be essential to use the SmaliPatcher.
3- Magisk cannot pass the second safetynet check...
I am not an expert, far from it, but if you want we can try it together. I think there are a lot of people who would appreciate being able to play PoGo on the switch with LineageOS
The latter two points are irrelevant, as with the newly released Android 10 for the Switch, I've managed to use Smali Patcher without issue and fix the SafetyCheck with just a lil bit of googling (duckduckgoing, actually, but it doesn't quite roll off the tongue). Pokémon GO runs without a hitch and the only issue right now is that the GPS Joystick app insists I turn on the location. If we can find a workaround, we're golden.

My Setup is Smali Patcher and this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.incorporateapps.fakegps_route&hl=en_US&gl=US (I've got the paid version) I've just unticked both "Android 10 FusedLocationApi" and "Smali Patcher Mode" under App settings and it's been working without any problems.
