Sadly, the 24mp front facing cam is handicapped by the lack of any real focus. Pics lack detail and this is the only problem I really have with the phone.

While taking selfie on portrait mode its quite good but there is bit of detail loss in the edges...
selfie is not that good if u take it with the default camera app. the image gets maked up even if you turn beauty mode off.
selfie with google cam looks ok though.

You never get another phone for ultrawide angle selfie. The software in xenfone 6 cant beat sammy.

Portrait mode on the selfie cam is amazing!
Unfortunately setting the selfie cam to 24mp turns off HDR+. if you want HDR+ selfies you're stuck at 6mp
