Try reinstalling Google Play Services. BTW I've got A2017 and on Nougat.

[Q] Flight mode issues

I couldn't find any other threads on this so here goes..
I've owned the S2 for over a month now, and recently I've noticed something very annoying on it. Sometimes, during a call, I do nothing and the phone just decides to switch to Flight mode, and then I cannot end the call, or switch back to normal mode. Only a reboot will fix it.
And, at times, when I try to pick up a call, sliding the answer option does nothing, and as usual, it goes back into flight mode. I am still on the stock rom with no changes done on it yet. Does anyone else have this same issue ? I'm
I've realised that it happened to me once since I got the phone for a week now, obviously, it is a simple fw bug and it it will be ironed in future updates by the way im on kf3 now with no such problem yet
I would be inclined to do a factory reset.this can solve many problems. Be sure to back up what you want to keep! For sms i used go sms to backup my messages!
*edit or as above poster has said if you are able to use kies to upgrade firmware!

@OP- On what firmware are you on?
I have considered a factory reset if nothing else works out. But before I go ahead with that I wanted to check if there's any other solution.
@ithehappy: I'm on 2.3.3 XWKE2
Found a solution?
I am facing the same issue as you guys are. Has anyone found a solution?
Arjun, did you try a factory reset? If so, did it resolve the issue?
Thanks!

Try to download the app's apk (maybe a different version than the latest). I don't know what to expect but if this were my case I would try it.
Other Googla Apps working fine?

This could be really annoying specially at a new phone.
I know this is very uncomfortable (specially if you have done all the settings etc.) but the next steps would be factory reset or flashing the stock Honor 8 rom...
I solved the issue now.
I removed my google account and signed in again. but for the first time I had unmarked the auto sync option(Cause I hate auto-sync It was draining the battery on my nexus badly). Anyway This time I chose auto sync when it prompt before sign in to google account and It worked.
Thanks for the responses again

[Q] Phone doesn't wake up from standby, i've to reset it

Hello,
i've noticed that since the installation of Nougat sometimes when the phone is in standby i can't wake it up. I have to reset it with power+home+vol-, could it be an app that i've installed or is it a known issue? Someone else has noticed this problem?
Thank you.
I also have this issue, though i had it also on Android 6

Most likely it's due to you not doing a full and complete factory reset
and wipe before you Odin flashed the new Nougat 7 firmware or it's
possible that you did not odin flash the correct S7/S7 Edge firmware
for your phone's model.
Good luck, have a great day!

Problem with 500firepaper app and A2017G 7.1.1 B02

Hey guys anyone else having issues with latest upgrade from ZTE and the specific app.
On my device it's not working at all.
Never had issues with previous ZTE software version and neither with many other phones latest years.
When trying to set image by opening wallpaper configurations simple doesn't open or response at all.
I'm pressing it and nothing happens.
I've try clear/data-cache of app not helped at all.
I've try previous version 2.70 nothing.
I've try restart my device and even clear cache partition from recovery menu and nothing.

I don't know what's else to do only hard reset on my device but I've already done this when upgrade from B01 to B02 couple of hours ego.
Do you have the latest B02 version?

I don't know either. Maybe just a dirty flash? That's what I would try.

Just performed hard reset and setup as new and my first movements was installing the app and not working at all again.
Well only solution is downgrade to 6.0.1(B11) then.
It's unbelievable really unbelievable.

Yes. I'm on b02 as well. Is there any app that interferes? I dunno, it's the same situation.

I really don't know.
As I said my first movement was just to install the app and nothing else.
Absolutely fresh situation.
Never had issues with all previous software version from ZTE as well neither with others phones so far.
I'm downgrading to 6.0.1 and upgrade to 7.1.1 without doing hard reset to see if with that way works or not.

Well strange things happened.
Downgrade to B10 and worked fine.
Upgrade OTA to B11 and still worked even after resetting my phone.
After that upgrade manually to 7.1.1(B01) and again worked even after resetting the phone.
And now the strange behavior begins.
Upgrade OTA to B02 and not perform hard reset and worked.
BUT when made clear cache partition and reboot the phone and now it's not working.
How can this be happening.
Can you please resetting(clear data) the app and relaunch it and tell me if its working or not.
Something going wrong with B02.
I don't have any other app installed on the device only 500 firepaper.

What exactly does not work? To start the App... ?
Send from ZTE A2017G using Tapatalk
Not exactly.
The app is opening but when trying to open wallpaper configurations through settings of the app simple doesn't open-not response at all.
So in that case I can't set any wallpaper at all either home screen or lock screen.
Btw again downgrade this time to 7.1.1(B01) and made hard reset and setup as new the device.
The only app installed was 500 firepaper and worked fine.
Immediately upgrade OTA to B02 and after that the app stop working.
If go to open wallpaper configurations simple doesn't response.
Something wrong with B02 release by ZTE.
Never had issue with that app all that 2-3 years I'm using it.

I know now. In the beginning you cannot select. It just starts into settings and it is it not possible to set it as a wallpaper.
But I found out that it is not possible to set any live wallpaper. ?

Now believe me don't you??
Something wrong with some kind of badly conflict between B02 and this specific app.
Somehow ZTE screw up.
How can be possible with all other software version working fine and with B02 not.
Totally madness.

You should report this in the 'ZTE Axon 7 EU Community' Facebook group. They always report every issue directly to ZTE.

I'm thinking of reporting that issues at ZTE mobile de forum.
As ZTE Germany is the responsible of development and delivering new software version to A2017G device in Europe.
We can report it in English since they allow it.

I'm having this same problem on my OnePlus 3.
I dome some digging and found out this problem has to do with the system app livewallpaperpicker, now that is installed, my phone See's the app(firepaper) as installed and when I touch open configuration it actually opens. Hope this helps, I love this wallpaper app also!
The only solution found for now is enabling confirmation from B01 and then upgrade to B02 is working.
I just must not perform any kind hard reset or app clear cache/clear data.
Then I couldn't make it work and I'm afraid of attempting any other solution because I don't want to broke something.
I hope the next update fix this things for G version.
It's really very very bizarre issue and somehow ZTE screw up with latest update.

Whatsapp shows others I'm online untill I kill the app in task manager

Sometime after I upgraded my Axon 2017G to Android 7. People told me I was always online on whatsapp.
Even when I'm not using my phone it says i'm online, untill I kill the app in task manager.
Are there more people with this problem or does anyone know how to fix this?
The problem still exists after upgrading to Android 7.1.1
Will a factory reset be an option?

Unfortunately, no! Factory reset would not solve the issue.
Done that. Idk what's the problem with that particular app.

And what's the problem with always being online?
Do you see this reflected on the battery performance?

I don't think it's such a big deal of a problem where you have to downgrade the Android version...

Thats right, I havent noticed it till my girldfriend tell me...
Now I have to use it and slide to kill, I never clean apps...
What's wrong with answering when you can...regardless of your online status.
I Downgraded my phone from A2017GV1.2.0B02 to Android 6 B10, when this was finished, it started normally, but then returned to the Axon screen, vibrating ones in a while, stuck on that screen. Restarting ended in the same screen. After a factory reset, it booted normally, I was back with android 6, and everything was gone. After installing whatsapp, it still showed online untill killing it in task manager. So even this is not a solution. Clear cache partition didnt work either. I have logged in on someone elses phone, and there my whatsapp account worked fine, so its definitely the phone thats causing the problem.
