I recently installed cyanogen 13 on my moto g4 plus. It was an unofficial version. After installing the sim card doesn't work. The reason being blank IMEI and unknown baseband version. I have no previous backups of os and the EFS folder. What should I do??will flashing a stock rom solve my problem???
Hi, i was on stock lollipop and i did a backup with twrp 3.1 and then i tried to flash aurora note 4 on my galaxy s4 i9500, it didn't boot i got stuck on the animation so i decided to restore and everything seemed fine but i realized that now i have no signal and when i mark *#06# it says imei null/null. I've already tried to flash differents modems on youtube. I also did a backup of efs and restored it but any luck. My baseband is known it says this:
Model number:
GT-I9500
Android version:
5.0.1
Android Security patch level:
2016-11-01
Baseband version:
I9500XXUHOD4
SOLVED FLASHING STOCK
I have a GT-i9500.
When I flashed the official 4.4.2 firmware (not for my country), it was showing Baseband version as unknown and null imei. I then flashed a modem.bin file, got it from the link provided in description of a YouTube video. Now I'm able to see my contacts, baseband version and IMEI too. But when I attempt to make a call it says not registered on network. I tried manually selecting my network but that didn't work. Isn't there any method without flashing my stock rom using odin as my Internet speed sucks so can't download it?
Any fix????
Note: I didn't downgrade my device but came from a perfectly working 4.4.2 custom ROM(SIM worked too) to stock 4.4.2 for some reasons.
I think I unknowingly corrupted my EFS partition, causing me to not be able to check for any IMEI (app will crash while trying to read it), and the baseband version shows unknown. So basically my phone can't read my SIM.
I have attempted to re-install the stock firmware (bell n910w8), but failed due to "device does not have DRK please install drk first press any buttons".
So I reflashed TWRP and brought back my lineageOS ROM, still not having any baseband number or IMEI.
I have no previous backups of my EFS file.
My original IMEI number (and SW-VER? -> Baseband or S/N) is still labeled on the box though.
How can I fix this, and get my calling features back?

Nevermind, I think the modem isn't detected in the provided ROM.
Everything's fine.
can you help me please
i have J730f and i have a touch problem after update to android 9 U5 official firmware .
the problem is the same on android 8
because U5 i can't downgrade to android 7
so to solve the touch i must install android 7 based custom rom
when i installed the REFINED_NOTE8_V5.1 rom every thing is fine but no cellular signal.
i checked and i found that imei and baseband are unknown
i try with an other rom (Clean_Nougat_Stock_V2.7) but i have the same problem no imei and no baseband
1)Flash stock kernel
OR
2) flash bootloader (BL) and modem(CP) and home CSC of your stock from using Odin, but without system(AP) ,system will remain as custom rom
OR
3)flash stock rom...iflash twrp....in twrp back up boot, modem ,efs file...
Reboot...now flash custom rom..reboot in recovery restore boot, modem and efs ..that's it
Try any one of these
