[APP] Google Car Home 2.2.1.4 On Optimus V

Google Car Home cant not be installed from the market for Optiums V. Has anyone tried to use it on a V?

Am using it on gt540 and wit works fine, but you have download apk from the web, install it and make homescreen shortcut for launcher, cos it does not show up in drawer..

Zdunex25, I got it working on my Opt V. But I got the app from a Galaxy II archived thread from xda. That one came with 2 apks, one the main program and the other is an apk that seems to just add the icon to the app drawer. All and all its nice to have.

says it is incompatible, last version I have is 2.2.1.2
it says only changes are bug fixes so maybe 2.2.1.2 is the most stable version for OV
Also, I have this app i think I used it like once, I didnt care for it.

Upgrade Instructions
This update is only intended/suitable for the Indian Honor 7 (PLK-UL00). Your device has to be running C675B160 or C675B170 in order to be able to flash this firmware. Here are the main steps to installation.
Download the RAR package from the above-mentioned mirror and extract it using any archive utility.
You’ll get a folder ‘dload’ alongside a PDF or two.
Copy the ‘dload’ folder to your Honor’s external microSD card.
Make sure the SD card is formatted in FAT32 filesystem and doesn’t contain any other dload folder.
Finally, unplug the USB cable and open the Updater app. Go to Menu > Local Update, select the full Update.app package and flash it.

however i disagree that guys open update/mod post without device and test before or in this case share beta test. Not usefull for user because if ask a question about installation, issue or other you can't help.
But if Community agree no problem for me.
Only one thing post MD5 for your download because on drive sometime package is not complete or bad download... and std user can brick your device.

First Copy the ‘dload’ folder to your Honor’s external microSD card, after with twrp make deep wipe, lastly vol + ; vol - and power.

When I go to the link the Jide page and files are not for B2016030801, still the first preview from January....my system says I am on it and calendar still not working here!

if ya are still on Jan update then try do update via setting then update it will lead ya to march package... Calendar is not working for me too cuz Jide did not add calendar storage module into /system folder. also chrome bookmark is dead too.. tried to sign in and nothing sync. i checked my account sync.. its missing for calender and chrome.. oh well its preview.. i wish they should toss an old working ROM in the case we would revert to non preview ROM.

Unable to update properly from RemixOS 2.0 *501 (Ultratablet)
As stated in the title, I am unable to use the updater to update from *501, to anything newer. I've tried letting the device sit for inordinate periods of time to let it finish, but to no avail. It just sits there on the "Remix" screen doing, as far as I can tell, nothing.
Do I need to force an install via adb? Am I understanding correctly that this is supposed to be an OTA update?

build 501 is when? my current build is 5.1.1.-B2016030801. new build is B2016031607 but sadly news cuz the package is bad now.. it cant install since i am getting getting an error during recovery mode...
did ya try to use ROM Installer app and use Jan build that Jide provide on their website on link at OP?

Apologies, I forgot the last 3 digits were 503 (5.1-B2016011503), not 501. In any case, it was the preview release that Jide provided on the website to install onto the UT. Unfortunately, I can find no updates to flash onto the device, and OTA refuses to update properly. If this keeps up, I'm tempted to go with a more standard ROM, and flush RemixOS altogether (assuming I can find a ROM that will work on the tablet). Any help would be very much appreciated
Also, to @RemixOS_Cameron, Is there any chance that you can update the links above to reflect the proper files? Thanks.

Remix OS 2.0
Downloaded from the web site today and went from 1.5 to 2.0. Took quite a while but all went well. 5 minutes later I got an OTA update to 5.1.1-B2016031604 which installed without affecting any of my apps or data.
My tablet arrived in the US after about 5 days. A case I ordered from Remix is now two weeks and just got an email it shipped. Took about 6 emails to get a response, so I guess they shipped and responded to shut me up.
Tablet build is excellent and I've had no issues.

I'm confused, I have had my Remix Ultratablet for about a month now, is this update for me?In your post you mentioned getting your tablet after downloading and upgrading? Should I try to do this or would it be better to wait? Also, my tablet's UI/Desktop looks different from the one Jide displays on their Ultratablet site, does this change it to look that way? Also I've tried to use the the notes sync with WeChat but everything from Jide in WeChat is in Mandarin and it says official account servies unavailable, any ideas? Overall this tablet is just what I needed to do web dev on Android, so I can't really complain. I noticed in the fixes it mentions pinning icons to the desktop, which is annoying, if I delete an app icon from the desktop it deletes the entire app.

It is still possible to get fota via rooted stock rom. You just have to full unroot or edit some file in that ota.zip before flashing it.

Write on Calendar function from Note10 ;)

Good news guys,
I managed to find a way to make the handwriting to calendar feature of Note 10 to fully work on our beloved Note 9.
You must be rooted and have twrp backup in case something is wrong. And of course it is your responsibility what you do to your device, not anyone's else
Here is what you need to do :
1) Go to apkmirror and download the latest versions of the apps (the apk files) :
-Samsung Calendar
-Samsung Capture
-AirCommand
2) Have a root explorer (i prefer X-plore), go to system/app & system/priv-app and replace the corresponding apks with the above new downloaded apks.
3) Set the apk files permissions to 644
4) Go to system folder and edit build prop file.
5) Replace text "N960F" with "N970F"
6) Replace text "crownlte" with "DaVinci"
7) Replace text "exynos9810" with "exynos9825"
8) Save changes
9) Reboot
10) Enjoy the Note10's Write to Calendar feature fully functional with air command shortcut !
p.s. I guess it works also on Note8 by replacing Note8's model and codename texts with the above from Note10.
