Hi!
I just rooted my Samsung GT-I9505 a few weeks ago with Odin v3.07 and CF-Auto-Root-jflte-jfltexx-gti9505.tar.md5.
Note that I didn't install any custom ROM.
It worked fine until now.
When I turned my phone off, it got stuck in reboot. The screen is black with a "Android OS is upgrading.. Opening all applications."
It's been 30mins and it just stayed there so I decided to take the battery off, put it back in and turn myphone on.
Now it's just stuck with the samsung logo. And whenever I factory reset and reset cache it, it just get stuck with a black screen with a "Android OS is upgrading.. Opening all applications."
Did I just bricked my phone? Is there any way to fix this?
Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!

Your device is not bricked so don't worry
1,
U flash philz recovery and do wipe cache / dalvik / fix permission and if req also reset the device it should reboot just fine
2,
Incase this does not wrk flash a pre rooted firmware from android development by djembey and reboot try with wipe cache after u flash and incase get stuck here also

 Thank you! Wow! That's a relief! I thought I'm going to have an expensive paperweight.
Anyways, tried option number 1 and Flashed philz_touch_5.10.0-i9505.tar.md5. All went well until the reboot and it got stuck into the samsung logo. So I removed the battery, put it back on and tried to go to recovery settings (VOL UP + HOME + POWER) but then it continued to reboot and stopped at the samsung logo.
Note that earlier, before I flashed philz.. I can still go to the recovery settings.
Will now try the second option. Just another question though. By pre-rooted firmware, do you mean a Pre-Rooted ROM or the original stock rom? Seen them here --->

Am I on the right track?
If you want it rooted then use a pre-rooted rom or flash a stock rom then root again, your choice really...
i ugraded my XSA 4.3 official firmwate to BTU official firmware. everything is succesfull but now my phone is tuck on Android is upgrading screen. what should i do. please help
Hi!
I recently updated my ROM to the Paranoid Android 3.98, I did a full wipe, flashed the ROM, latest Gapps (with TWRP) and ever since the tablet has been become really laggy on opening apps or doing anything. I realised something was wrong straight after I booted it up by how long it was taking to connect to the WIFI etc.
Anyway, its hanging a lot on the unlock screen and sometimes I get a "Process System is not Responding" prompt. I've tried going back into recovery and clearing the caches/data again and its still hanging. Ive also tried using CWM recovery to wipe the tablet, flash the ROM/Gapps etc and its still really slow. Lastly, I just tried a factory reset from the settings menu and again, its still the same!
Any ideas on whats up with it and how to sort it out? I was thinking about unrooting it back to stock although I think the problem will still probably happen. I came from the PA 3.95 build and did a clean flash.
Cheers!
Chris
I think I have fixed it by following a post by Chasmodo on how to do a super-clean install.
1) I booted into recovery.
2) Did the three wipes (Data, Cache, Dalvik) several times over.
3) Went to Mount & Storage and formatted both system & cache*.
4) Flashed PA 3.98 & latest PA-Gapps.
5) Wiped both caches again and rebooted.
As soon as connecting WIFI, signing into Google I could tell it was running a lot faster again and now the lag on the unlock screen & opening apps seems to have stopped, also haven't had the "System Process isn't Responding since."
*Chasmodos version of the super-clean install didn't say to format the cache as well although I had tried just formatting the system and it didn't fix the issue. So I thought I'd try the same process with a cache format as well and now all issues seem to have been rectified.
Cheers
Chris
Hi Guys,
anyone else experience this weird behavior?
I was on Golden Eye ver from July with MG1 modem (i337m).
I installed Golden Eye v5 with a full format (formatting using TWER - WIPE - Delete Data - YES), then install rom and then KTOONSNE kernal to get wifi working.
The usual wait a few mins and the rom boots and everything working great/fast and stable. However, once you reboot, it will get stuck at the boot logo with the Samsung Galaxy S4 logo. no matter how long i wait it will not boot into the rom.
I have tried:
- reinstalling the kernal
- fixing permissions
- wiping caches
- reinstalling rom
nothing will bring me out of this unless i do a full format of the internal SD again (even restored a nandroid).
anyone experience this? Any suggestions from anyone?
What recovery and version are you using?
intenal security might be broken
iB4STiD confirmed that this is a known issue with TWRP breaking the internal security. Have to flash ADML using odin to fix. I'll have to do some research to see how to do that.

*edit* I take that back. I was stuck on team win logo after the reboot was stuck and had to hold the power button until it shut down. Now I can reboot into the rom. Strange but I don't care. It works. Thx jd1639 and iB4STiD
I just upgraded to TWRP 2.6.1.0 and no luck. Same thing full wipe. Install rom and boots fine. But if I reboot again it's stuck on the Samsung galaxy logo. Trying to go back into TWRP to restore a old backup and stuck now on the Teamwin logo

Hi guys, I am new here, I am now finding help anywhere about my Note III recent problem...
My note III is SM-N9005 Malaysia version, I did root it with CF Auto Root and I had been using it without problems until yesterday morning,
This is my case :
I realized my alarm was written "Clock has been not responding" and I lost my network service, then I tried to restart my phone,
Since I restart, it became worst, my phone went into boot loop and sometimes freeze on the "Samsung Galaxy Note 3" screen,
But in a few times of reboot, it will be able to boot into homescreen, but still no service for the network, and everything processes work extremely slow, even freezing and crashing!
What I tried to do to fix it :
-I went to the Samsung service center, and the technician said that my warranty is voided (Ofcourse I knew it), and he told me that this problem is due to software problem instead of hardware.
-I did flash my kernel with stock kernel again which was downloaded from Sammobile, but it did not fix my problem,
-And I tried to hard reset and factory reset of my phone, it did not help too,
-I am also tried to clear cache and dalvik cache and reboot the device, it didn't seems working...
I have already done what I could but I still yet to fix my phone, what should I do now, any experts can guild me?? T^T
Thank you

check your internal card or sd card for a folder called Backups or something similar, if your running a custom rom normally EFS is automatically stored there if your custom rom does do EFS backup automatically at install....if not do a search on the forum for EFS RECOVERY or re-flash your rom it may help or may not, but im sure it wont though...
also read though the link i sent you there maybe some think there that may help you
you can try to do install new firmware with odin 3:09 kitkate see how it behaves ....

-I went for a search for the backup folder in either of the storage mentioned by I didn't see a file called "backup"... I think I deleted it since the factory reset I've done yesterday, I went to many forums hat talk about EFS, and it wont help my problem cos all of them are talk about "Backup/recover", where I didn't backup my EFS earlier...
-I tried for the IMEI code, that's the reason I know about EFS, it shows "null/null", and most the information are showing unknown, such as baseband version, IMEISV, IP Address, Bluetooth Address.
-My current situation is whatever I flash into my phone, it just wont help, the problem didn't improvise at all...
Thanks..

download Stock firmware from sammobile or samsung updates
turn phone off, boot into recovery mode wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition
turn phone off, boot into download mode
use odin v 3.09 load your downloaded firmware into AP, check update boot loader box, don't check anything else and click start.
once it finishes flashing, it will reboot by itself.
if it fails then you might want to repeat the process above one more time.
if still fails u might want to do emergency recovery via kies.
Good luck and hope this helps.

I have tried the odin method and it didn't work...
Now I am trying for the kies emergency recovery method, and I will reply if there are any improvements...
Hi guys, I think have some new clues to determine my problem now
I flashed a custom recovery into my phone this morning,
and I realise that my /system, /efs and /firmware-modem is unmounted,
I tried to mount them, it was successful, but when I reboot the device, the problem still there,
Boot loop, no IMEI, no Baseband Version, Lag Processes,
and I went back to recovery again, I realised they have been unmounted again...
Any idea what is the problem guys??
Thx

Hi there,
I have tried the kies emergency recovery method, but it was unsuccessful,
My note 3 was connected to the kies, but when I run Emergency Firmware Recovery,
My device was instantly disconnected with kies
And I have also tried the Firmware Upgrade and Initialisation,
The Kies showed me that my device is not supported with initialisation...
Anything I should do??
Thx

i actually found a different kernal in the omega thread and that seemed to sort it, thanks tho
I flashed CM12 on my S3 Neo (I9300I) using CWM then after a few weeks, I decided to flash the Stock ROM (I9300IXWUBNL1_I9300IOXEBNL2_SER.zip) and then wiped data and cache. After flashed, Wi-Fi does not turn on. Even the Hotspot. When I slide the switch, it reverts back instantly to off. I flashed again another firmware, but of the same device model (I9300IUBUBNK2_I9300IZTOBNK2_ZTO.zip) and wiped data and cache again. Still no luck. Still dosen't turn on. What could have happened?

I'm in a similar boat. after flashing a full rom (roughly 980mb), I found that my wifi.kr files apparently need to be replaced. i'm using a I9300IXXUBNH3, and am having trouble finding the files without having to completely wipe and image the phone, root, grab the files, then install recovery and install the rom... it's a bit drawn out for my liking.
Have you got wipe dalvik cache and cache, and when the problem stays, have you got reflash the rom?
When the problem stays, try an diffrent rom. I didnĀ“t know, that your Device is rooted.
