I also have g7 and when I search information about android 10 update it says we get android 10 but in 2020.

That's what I want to know. I don't think that only me get this.
I didnt find any information about that update. Now we will wait for other users who get that.
If it was me, I'd reflash last stock for your variant (no more root) and try to OTA update as it's worth it to go to Android 10 !!!!
My RETUS and AMZ River XT1962-1 did not get this notification even though I checked just now. It's said August 1, 2019 Security Patch level was last update.

No. Someone on Reddit and telegram got this. No changes can be seen. This may or may not be preparing for Android to release soon

I remember that in Oreo times there was a similar update too

I think they might have updated the bootloader to support Android 10 but then again. 1gb is quite big for something like that I think

We don't know for sure but I think it has something to do with them fixing the bootlooping issue and them preparing for Android 10

None available for locked bootloader. You'll have to wait for MR Update which may be released before or on the 30th. Because Nokia 7 Plus received theirs yesterday.

UK version is still EEA i thinkz last time it started rolling out 5 days later the global version but now he got it just as it's rolling out sooo idk really...

It appears to be another staged rollout. EU versions will be waiting 2 weeks again. Most people who have received it are in Germany.
