NO.
You can't unlock the bootloader of the Verizon Droid Turbo 2. You CAN unlock the bootloader of the Moto X FORCE, which is the sibling "Kinzie"and is the same phone for other countries.
Blame Verizon. If you wanted bootloader unlock and root, you should research on XDA before you bought the phone. You bought the wrong Kinzie.

The Official Unlock Code
Did Verizon just provide me the bootloader unlock code?
so I had an interesting conversation with a Verizon rep (who was actually pretty knowledgeable) and told him the situation and why I wanted the unlock codes. He agreed that it was stupid to hold back the codes from device owners who would freely wave the warranty. He said he looked through all of their code files and found a bunch of codes for sim unlock or whatever, but nothing stating "Bootloader Unlock Code"....
However, he said he found a random code that might be what i'm looking for. I have no idea what this is for or what it does, so please don't use it and blame me if your device gets bricked.
Code: 3$450107071177452#5A5932323343504B575A0058543136335300000003AD1D7D7C1182295A7370E3D8337DAA4A450EDD1D1#3849A78220000000000000000000000
Edit: can anyone tell me if this code works, and what it does?
Ps: This a post from Reddit, just copy pasted here try this code if it works it would be beneficial for all of us turbo 2 owners

And what about now in 2020? someone know how to unlock bootloader for Moto Droid Turbo 2 verizon variant (Kenzie)?

Well here's what you can do:
1) You can wait, wait, wait, and wait some mroe for someone to even attempt this
2) PAY THE TEN FREAKIN DOLLARS
Do you think that if there was a way to unlock this phone, it would have been in this forum by now? Or are you on to something that nobody else is aware of?
EDIT: this is the wrong forum for this crap anyway

its not an iPhone thats why, you're gonna pay either way just get it over with already.
In an attempt to be less rude than the other poster, here's the deal.
The unlock codes are held in a database on a server run by HTC.
There is no algorithm involved with the IMEI to figure out the code.
So getting it for free with some tool would be quite surprising and highly unlikely.
Flashing the ROM will not unlock the phone.
is there a way to unlock SFR HTC Magic ?
my problem
Hello,
i´m new here and my english not so good, but i hope, anyone can help me here.
I´m from germany and i have a Vodafone branded 32B Magic.
So i had my magic rooted and had a hero rom installed, but for some days i loaded the RUU Rogers on my phone. Now i lost my root, the language is only english and the magic have no drivers installed so i can´t go on market or to the mobile internet.
Many ways to delete the RUU or root this one failed.
When i used the cmd on my PC i make fastboot devices, then comes my serial number and fastboot, but when i will type the words fastboot boot recovery.....img in the next line, it comes : downloading ´boot.img´... FAILED <remote: not allow>
What can i make to become my root rights back so i can load a custom rom back on my phone?
Please can anyone help me?
To OP, can't you even read the thread for the weekly free offer?
I unlocked my Rogers Magic using information on this forum only. Unfortunately I cannot recall what exactly I did - too long ago.
Can anyone sent me the link where can i find the unlocking procedure for my phone

Get a non-Roger/non-fido SIM card. Stick it in the phone and it will ask you for an unlock code.

How do I identify a Developer Edition?

I'm new to this part of XDA, so please let me know if I'm breaking any etiquette rules here. Thanks for any help in advance.
Is there any way to tell a developer edition phone from a consumer edition phone (other than attempting to unlock the bootloader)?
I'm asking because a friend recently purchased a Droid Razr M on Verizon (from a possibly rather shady Verizon dealer who may have confused SIM unlock with bootloader unlock). In the Settings app, I can see a "Developer Options" section. Is that supposed to be there in the consumer edition?

Developer options is present on all Android devices. The developer edition is identical physically. Contact Motorola with your imei and they should be able to tell you...or you could attempt bootloader unlock

It (and this is just a wild shot in the dark - don't quote me on it) may have a different FW version code. I have no idea if it would...

The only reason I thought it might be a developer version was the Developer Options; I have no other reason to think so. So I'm going to assume it's a regular consumer edition. Thanks for the help!
There is no ambiguity at all about this as the Developer Edition has a logo on the bottom of the back cover that says "Developer Edition".
The firmware is identical for both models.

Easiest way to tell is look at the back. Below is a pic of mine. Dev editions also only come in black.

Type in your code if you can get it. How did you get it to come up?
This normally comes up when you put in a SIM of a different company than what the phone is locked to. You could get it from the company that locked it, or buy a network unlock code online.

Yes, I realize what the box is but from what I know it isn't supposed to come up on Sprint phones. Speaking of sprint, there are no codes to purchase for Sprint S5 as its unlocked ota. What did I do to get it to pop up: I Flashed MOAR V7 from OG1, then installed GT.APK (idoneapps galaxy tools) and clicked uicc unlock and the network unlock box popped up. The GT.apk is for gaining hotspot and international sim unlock. My phone is already int unlocked but never had box pop up messing with it. I'm curious if I can get a code and fully unlock.
* Also, Im aware that Idoneapps does have a domestic unlock for $35. But wheres the fun in that?
That's strange, cos once unlocked, it remains unlocked even if you changed ROMs. Try checking if that APP is forcing this come up again superficially.

It's remained internationally unlocked with all the poking around and different ROMS. However, my aim is to get a domestic unlock. And the free-er the better
The app probably is forcing it to come up superficially, but is it because of being on MOAR ROM? I've played around with the GT.apk on other ROMS and I personally never seen that box come up. But we all know what that box can (supposed to) do, and that's why I posted it up here on XDA.
So anyway, I decided to put my MSL code in the box and of course it said "unsuccessful". I knew it couldn't be that easy. Also, I was able to bring up the unlock box by using shortcut master as well (it reveals all secret codes on phone) so I guess the network unlock box isn't so elusive after all. I'm still very new to flashing custom roms and especially android and thought I stumbled on to something important but apparently not.
Hello, i have sprint g900 which i got unlock code from sprint, i tried to install different sim card but didnt get unlock screen but i heard u dial unlock code then press send to unlock from what i read, can i ask you how did u getunlock screen? Im very new to android root, any advice will help so i can root S5? Thank you

"fastboot oem unlock" to unlock without permission?

Hi,
I have a friends Redmi 3S Prime. I've sent the unlock request but more than 2 days have passed now, no info from Xiaomi. I've tried to use their Unlock tool but it says "no permission".
I came a across an idea to run "fastboot oem unlock". After running that I get a weird screen asking me Yes or No.

Bro u pressed yes and what happened after that ?
What is 'fastboot oem unlock' method??
Can somebody explain about it and how to unlock bootloader using it??
What happened, is it possible to unlock Redmi 3s prime bootloader by fastboot oem unlock method? ?
Is it safe??
If it works like that it'd be hilariously easy, and such a good thing. Then you're free from all hassles of unlocking the bootloader the hard way. I wonder that you got this screen, it's awesome!
According to a Xiaomi Note 3 thread, it is possible to unlock bootloader without permission from the MIUI dev team, however you may brick your phone
Someone needs to do an unlocked BL package that can be flashed to 3S
source: http://xiaomitips.com/guide/unlock-redmi-note-3-bootloader-without-official-permission/ (it may be fake, I don't really know)
I haven't pressed "Yes", decided to wait for Xiaomi to respond to unlock request, as It's not my phone and I didn't want to brick it. If someone tries it, report here .

Oh excuse me
Looking at your first post , you'll never be able to unlock the bootloader whatsoever your trials will be.
Reason:
The installed rom is a very old resaler ROM and you need to be on an official one.
As well the modem is.
You must flash a fastboot an official rom as explained at many places.
Sorry

Then it should unlock. Check the steps again and double check for anything missing. If it still doesn't work, you're gonna have to contact their customer service and request for an unlock. It is mandatory that they comply into helping, since this shouldn't be restricted to anyone.

Occasionally some people get a false not qualified message.
There are a few things you can try
There is a Alt entry method
Sometimes the website is just not working.
You can check to see if the CID is eligible.
Sometimes using a different device or internet connection works.
