[ROM][KK 4.4][28/11/2013] Android KRT16S CM11 unofficial

This is a CM11 unofficial rom, just to have something to flash while waiting for next cannondaleV2000’s builds.
Install Procedure
You should take a nandroid backup if anything goes wrong
1. Flash the rom in recovery. After the flash this message will appear:
This package is for "galaxys.galaxysmtd.GT-I9000.GT-I9000M.GT-i9000T" devices this is a "SGH-I897"
E:Error in /storage/sdcard1/CyanAOSP-KK4-v1.1.0.zip
(Status 7) Installation aborted.
2. Now reboot recovery.
Then the new recovery will appear and you can flash the rom without problems.

This is a pure CM11 rom, synced on 27 November.
CyanAOSP is different, even if the source code used as a base is the same.

1) Your first step/error/warning message came from me.
2) what steps have you taken to deviate from the CyanAOSP rom? Any additions, changes, improvements? Or are you just copying and and pasting from another thread?

No. 2.6 is full DEODEX ROM. 2.4, 2.5 - ODEXED...

I use twrp 2.8.30, but i have setperm error... How to solve?

some help please with n900w8
ok here's the thing...
i have the n900w8 on stock 4.4.2 NI1 / rooted/twrp latest . i always flash n9005 kitkat custom roms then flash wifi/bluetooth fix everything works fine (except nfc) but what is the thing with flashing n9005 stock rom first? what exactly should i flash? i already downloaded the whole stock lollipop leak for n9005 and masik rom so please just tell me what to do now.
ps: i would have tried it but i recently moved to Russia so i can't risk breaking my phone here

if i download and flash version 3.0 it doesnt reboot, i flashed the modem and the bootloader but it dont work. i only see the samsung logo.

Great ROM! Small question about recording
Hey Guys, I'm new here and I have to say I love this website. The ROMS are great, the community is very helpful and kind, the whole experience is awesome.
I've been using this ROM for a couple days now, version 3.0, odex and I think it's one of the best right now, thank you very much for it.
I just have on issue with it, my video recording is not working.
This might as well be due to another reason other than a ROM issue but I think you guys might be able to help me with it.
Whenever I open my stock camera, the photo functionality works correctly, I can take photos without any problem.
When I try to record a video I get a "Recording Failed" message (please see attachment).
I tried several fixes from several forums, changing the resolution, using internal storage instead of external SD, using different apps for video recording from Play Store, none of them worked.
I come from the X-Note ROM with kitkat 4.4.2 and everything worked there.
I'm about to try this solution:
- Check your Baseband in the device info
- Download the firmware that contains exactly your Baseband
- Extract the tar.md5 from the zip file
- Extract the NON-HLOS.bin from the tar.md5 file using WinRAR
- Download ODIN v3.04 (I guess in my case I'll use 3.10)
- Fire up ODIN
- Load the extracted NON-HLOS.bin into "PHONE" slot
- Keep "F. Reset Time" and "Auto Reboot" activated
- Click "Start" and wait for the process to complete and your phone to reboot
In the meantime if any of you have any other ideas, I would be very thankful for them.

Installation instructions :
- Root access | Guide here
- Get a recovery (use the guide above)
- Make sure you have a backup
- Download the desired fw.zip (make sure you choose E6853 if you have E6853, but E6833 - E6883 are the same)
- Copy it to your SDCard
- Reboot your phone into recovery
- Install > select your fw.zip then flash it !
- Optionnal, wipe cache / dalvik cache
- Reboot

Hmpf, 7 hours to upload a zip, and I uploaded first an E6833, I should start with xx53, nevermind.
The first zip's I'll upload will only be composed to system.sin file, compared to Flashtool who flash a whole firmware (fota-kernel, userdata, OEM etc. Ok you can choose to exclude some files xD)
Until userdata is not included it means you do not have to wipe anything before flashing, well I guess
My futur challenge is to propose a pre-rooted firmware (automaticly flash SuperSu ^^)

It's a faster way to run the desired firmware, you flash it through a recovery (who says recovery says root access)

Hello, on my E6883 when I try to flash the 6833 fw.zip, it says "E:Could not find 'META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary' in the zip file." Thus bringing and error to flashing the zip. What could be the problem? I redownloaded it to see if maybe the zip was corrupt but when flashing it again it brought up the same problem. Thanks for the help in advance!

Hi friends this is the 1st beta from Chinese developer Shumxin
It comes with Chinese bloatware, Bugs and it don't have the integrated functions like gesture and alert slider settings.
Steps:
1) If you are on OOS 2.X.X bootloader upgrade to to 3.X.X bootloader.
2) Flash the modified version of TWRP for MIUI or one from bluspark or Nachiket.Namjoshi

FC on android.process.media
Music apps won't work
Video Players won't work
Camera won't work if the above problem exist.
No Gestures.
Not even dt2w
It comes with Chinese bloatware (may not a problem)
No tri state keys.
Working features:
All the basics except the above.
Flash Instructions:
1) Download the ROM on a pc
2) Open using 7-zip and navigate thru META > com> google> android
3) Doble click updater-script and Open it with Notepad ++
4) Delete the first two lines and make the third line first (hope you understand)
5) Now save it 7-zip asks you to update the zip. DO IT!
6) Flash it using the TWRP for 3.X.X
7) Wait
8) Wait
9) WAIT!
10) Success.

You can flash it without modifying the updater script using the new TWRP.Also to mention ,installation will take time as package is extracted through the old way.

yeahh me got that problem too.. but I already found to fix that, just download sandroid kernel testing-01092016. zip file from xda link. flash it via twrp, after that flash file supersu. if done reboot it and your sim card problem already fix

Did it work for anyone else ? My device seems to be stuck at samsung logo since hours
