Does anybody know if oneplus is planning on implementing the pro mode for videoshooting like LG does ?
or can we do it through a mod or 3rd party app ?
if so then video shooting will be sick , specially using manual focus :good:
Of cours after they fix the actual bugs and lacks in the camera app like EIS in 4K
Any word yet on manual focus for videos or an alternate camera app that would do it?
Thanks
Hi everyone! I'm new here.
I was interested in this phone (x722) because its crazy cheap for what it offers, but at the same time I am interested in a phone with a good video recording (with stabilization) so before buying I wanted to check.
I was wondering if anyone having the x722 and having installed a custom rom and the GCam port, could tell me how it stabilizes, in which settings (4k, 1080) and if its possible to record 1080/60fps videos aswell?
If some nice person around here would do some test and check if it stabilizes video well and can record 1080/60 it would be great.
Thanks a lot in advance! Hope to see some useful replies
I don't have proof, but people like the camera when they're using it with the modded Gcam. 60fps recording should work with modded Gcam, but it doesn't work normally, i.e. with the stock camera or OpenCamera, despite giving you the 60fps recording option. The IMX298 takes decent 60fps, nothing special. About on par with the iPhone 6. But I don't think you get video stabilization at all. You'll have to stabilize it yourself in Google photos or something.
Source: I owned a Zenfone 3, which has the same sensor.

The OP3T has pretty good electronic stabilization and uses the same IMX298 sensor aswell, so its definitely not a sensor problem in your Zenfone.
The LeEco pretty much has the same capabilities as the OP3/3T, it should be perfectly doable
I don't know, I guess the app would have to give you the option for stabilization. I just tested video recording on my phone and it doesn't have stabilization. I used Open Camera. I'm not rooted so I can't try the modded Gcam.

Yes, I was asking to people that had a custom Nougat ROM + Google Cam 5.0
Could someone in general post pictures and videos taken on the X722 with gcam? I am thinking of buying this Phone.
I Tried the OnePlus camera ,HTC camera & MiUi Camera but still can't take slow-motion video.
Video captured with 1+ camera was just 30fps
there was no option in MIUi camera & The icons on HTC camera were not understandable (couldn't find a better work to explain that) like they didn't support the device which it doesn't ?
Update- Even Nokia's Camera application's Slow-motion isn't working.
Bro u need to install any beauty camera "like"
no other camera supported slow motion

So my stock cam (3.3.8) has been unable to shoot watchable video for some time. When I activate it it just zooms in and out constantly. I hadn't worried about it because I also have GCam (6.2). But lately that camera has been doing the same but not quite as bad. I need to be able to shoot reliable video and I'm unsure where to start. Is there an update to the stock cam? Should I try a different GCam, and if so which version? Would you suggest one of the cams from the play store? Or is this a hardware issue? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
3.3.8? You are using the 1+7 camera apk?
Google camera app is great and other camera apps also moment camera filmic pro camera but there is a issue the camera will not shoot over one one second exposure there also a bigger issue why you cannot shoot great picture with the flash on it's always delayed
Is there any solution for this problem for the axon7?
