I flashed the 20b h870 rom on my gym, now it gives me the option to update to 20c. But I have a custom twrp. Can I update or will it brick the os?
Don't update OTA or you'll brick it. You can KDZ 20c which replaces TWRP recovery with stock recovery and then reroot and reinstall TWRP. You can also install Bestsniper 20c stock zip modded for install via TWRP to not force encryption and allowing to keep TWRP (root with Magisk 17.2)

Hey,
I'm getting an OTA Update for my XT1572 with 6.0.1 and 24.211.58.clark_reteu.reteu.en.EU reteu.
Trying to install the OTA my phone boots into TWRP and won't install the OTA. I can boot into Android after trying to install the OTA but i get stuck in kind of a bootloop as my phone trys booting into recovery for some time.
Is this because I have TWRP instead of stock recovery?
I installed 6.0.1 using the ressources in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/general/xt1572-mm-twrp-root-xposed-t3276792
But the zip does not contain the stock recovery.
What do I have to do to install OTAs properly?
Thanks!
Hi everyone ! I'm here because I want to do an OTA update. But i'm root and I have a custom TWRP and the ota file. If I flash it from twrp it will be working ? (Doesn't matter if I need to reroot and reflash twrp) Thanks !
you need to extract stock recovery from you current fw, and i am not sure if even then ota will work, I think you need full rom and flash it from huawei recovery
Install Custom B602 rom by persona, you won't regrete
Is It safe to install normally a OTA with TWRP installed?

Hi.
I've twrp recovery and I want to update Miui with stock update.
Can I restore original recovery?
Or there is another way to update EEA stock Miui from 10.3.12 to 10.3.15?
http://bigota.d.miui.com/V10.3.15.0...AGlobal_V10.3.15.0.PFJEUXM_b6738621e2_9.0.zip
It's as easy as flashing this file via TWRP.
EDIT: I made a guide for OTA updates on nonstock recoveries here https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-9t/how-to/guide-ota-updates-stock-recovery-t3975027, so you know how to get this file yourself when the next update comes.
