How to view downloaded images fom google with Huawei Mediapad M3? - Huawei Mediapad M3 Questions & Answers

I have downloaded the image from google and see it in *Downloads* but when I click on the image the page changes to (Categories Local) page and doesn't have picture anywhere.
I can click and hold on the image in the 'Downoad' app and I get an option to share with social media (Huawei Share) but no way to view it or place it in Gallery so I can view them.
All advice appreciated

Opera Sense favourite thumbnail location?

Does anyone know where the webpage preview thumbnail for your favourite site is stored and can be changed/reset?
The reason I'm asking is that I accidently connected to a portal site for a wifi service to access the internet using Opera. In doing so, it's created a snapshot of the portal page to use as the preview for my favourite and I want to change it!
Thanks

Hi,
\Windows\Thumbnail
Delete the one in question, then tap the favourite on the internet tab to load the page in Opera, let it load, then close Opera, you should have a new thumbnail.
Thanks for the reply. I found the directory and deleted the thumbnail in question. The thumbnail preview disappeared as expected. I then pressed the default 'globe' picture to load the page and let it finish loading, then exited Opera. The thumbnail hasn't 'set' - it's still showing the default globe pic. I've retried it a few times and no dice. Any ideas?

Did you click on the favourite rather than the globe?
I tried all sorts.. click on the globe, or the text under the globe or by selecting the page through favourites. Nothing would give it a new updated image.. it just stayed as the default.
The only thing I did was to remove the favourite from the favourite shortcut, then also removed the favourite from the list of favourites. Then I readded the page and set it as the favourite again. Selected it to load it up fully in Opera and it worked!
Thanks for your help.
I seem to remember someone saying to me on another thread that the only way to add/update the thumbnail images for your favourites on the Opera tab is to load the page in question using IE.
EDIT: That works for me...

DropBox - upload pictures (duplicate)

I can’t find anymore the option to syncro only new pictures from my Note 3. I’ve installed an SD card with subfolders and DB is duplicating all of them in DB Camera Uploads folder. How can I stop this?
In the past there was an option "only new pictures" that, if flagged, was uploading only the pictures taken from that moment but in the 4.3 App it looks like they've removed it.
Any clue?
Previous mobile-DB version screenshot
Current mobile-DB version screenshot (no flag anymore)
Just got the DropBox answer on the issue: There currently isn't a setting in the app that lets you filter out pictures that had already been uploaded from another device.
Really?
If you would like us to give the option to filter out pictures that have been uploaded already, please feel free to make a feature request through our Votebox.
So, if you guys miss that option as me, please click here and vote. You may vote more than once.

Google + business page photo problem

I have a Google business page for my company and I have a problem with uploading photos to it.
Ive checked all my settings camera and in app settings and when I upload a picture from my note 4 either from my phone or from the net it uploads in a lower resolution and looks pixilated.
Is there any other users on here that runs a business page that can check if the same happens to them?
Here is a link to my page.

Downloaded images, but Facebook won't let me use them..??

So I went to google, downloaded an image of something I wanted to put for sale on facebook, but facebook doesn't recognize the image.. So I opened it, took a screenshot of the image and tried again, same bad luck..
It shows up in my images as a blank image (The centered image icon with the little crossed out circle in the bottom right corner), and won't let me click on it, and it does this with more than one type of image as well.. It doesn't do this with all images, mainly just any that I download or screenshot.. Anyone have any tips on fixing this..??
PS - if I open the gallery app, I can view the images just fine, but for some reason it won't let me use them in texts, facebook, etc..
Here's a screenshot so u can see what I'm talking about when trying to add the pics through facebook.
Now when I open the gallery app, they show the image thumbnails, and they open just fine..
Wonder is a new copyright thing, I can see FB limiting you (if so) but kinda odd you couldn't use the pic in question in a text., Mind linking what it was and I can try to posting it in my dummy FB account.
I use the mobile web browser side of FB,no FB app. and I initially had trouble posting ANY pic when I 1st got my V20. The issues sorted itself magically one day. Only way I could post a pic was to hit request desktop version & proceed like normal.

Sure, I actually deleted all of those images and removed them from my "For Sale" posts, but the next time it happens I'll send it over so you can have a shot..
Thanks!

HEIC support

Hi all,
Does anyone know if Google will be rolling out HEIC support to Android?
I ask because I have a few photos backed up in my Google Photos that I cannot download to my phone because they were taken on my iPhone which was in the new format iOS now uses .heic
I can view them using the Google Photos app no problem but if I want to share them to FB or amend them in a photo editing app then the format is not recognised.
I know this isn't just isolated to the S8 it will be across the board with Android, Windows etc.
Any help will be appreciated.

Maybe you can try to convert HEIC to JPG format at first before viewing on your Android phone. Joyoshare free HEIC to JPG converter is helpful!

You can use a heic 2 jpg converter app like 'Luma: *.heic to jpeg converter and viewer'.
Right now it is the only way to share iPhone images to instagram or fb without online services.
P.S. You can share heic images to social networks directly from the app.
