Yes, problem is not on cables, as the same ones, can charge other phones. I bet i't the micro usb port on phone is loose or something, because when i press a bit harder the phone starts up, but there's no battery so stay awake... I hope this falls under warranty man...
Test pull-out the baterie wait 15 seg and put it.
Test charging on another X5.
It happened something similar to my first Huawei U8800. It only switched on when I remove my battery and plug the AC charger. I went to the store and they exchanged it..
Seems like i've got the same problem. My X5 doesn't charge since last night. Did you find the solution for your phone?
PROBLEM SOLVED. The 2 chargers i tried was both broken

Well I had with my old phone the same problem but I recognized that there was some dirt in the charging port of the phone.
I removed this with my nail and it worked again.
Probably it won't help you but you'll never know
Try connecting the charge cable to a USB port on your computer for a few hours. You may not see anything right away but eventually the phone will begin to charge.
i got this issue few days back..the charging was slow..cant even reach 100 when im on the phone..its pathetic..swap with my old lg phone model cable bam!the old cable built was much rugged compared to nexus 4..
I have exactly the same problem - when it ran out of power today, it switched itself off normally, and then when I inserted the cable, it didn't charge. not even the battery animation thing came up!
I hope somebody can find a solution.
Oh yeah, and I checked in the port for dust, and used countless alternate wires and power adapters

When you run the battery all the way down it takes a while to start a charge. Just leave it plugged in for a while and it'll go. I'm not sure if it does this every time because I don't drain my phone to 0% but it has happened before on my old phone and I've seen it happen to iphones as well.
Same problem

Did you ever find a solution or send the phone in to LG? I'm having this exact problem right now. I've tried three different micro USB wall chargers for hours at a time as well as charging it through the USB port on my computer. I get absolutely no charge and I have never had any problems at all until last night when it simply would not charge.

Try pressing the power button and immediately the low volume, wait like 3 to 5 seconds and it'll restarts. Not the first time this happens to me and wish to know what's going on! don't know if there's an app that's doing this or hardware issue...
Try cleaning the port like mentioned. There's videos in YouTube

ahh this problem...i had the exact same problem with my gnex...its just that the metal plate of the micro usb port of your phone has bent down a bit which is why it doesnt charge...the easiest way to fix that is to take something flat and lift the metal plate gently..not too much otherwise you'll break it...just lift it up slightly and it should charge normally then...Hopefully :fingers-crossed:
I have had ongoing charging issues.
My original micro USB charging cable stopped functioning after some time. I switched to another one that worked very well for a few months. Than that one stopped working. I would plug either one in and it wouldn't recognize. I finally wrote it off as a faulty micro USB port so I ordered a POGO cable.
I got the cable yesterday and it started charging immediately. I got up to about 37% and than charging stopped. I unplugged, replugged, rebooted, etc. I left it on the charger over night. It's consistantly loosing power. I even tried switching it off and than charging without being booted. The battery charging indicator would come on, show the charging animation than disappear and continue to die.
I'm getting quite frusterated at this point. I am running CM 10.2. I have a sneaky suspicion that the culprit might be a corrupted part of the rom. My next step is to try things like factory wipe or flashing a new version of a rom. If that doesn't work, I don't know what else to try.
Any ideas?
Solved
It turned out to indeed be some problem with the rom. After doing a factory reset, it started to charge in the correct direction. I'm now at 100%.
Out of curiousity, does anyone know what would happen to a rom to make it drain a batter, even when connected to a charger?

If for some reason it is using 100% of its CPU, the Nexus 10 can potentially draw more power than the microUSB or Pogo chargers can provide.
I have a stock nexus 6p that hasn't been rooted or been unlocked and I plugged it in last night and it wouldn't charge fully.
I attached a screen shot of it.

thanks for the quick response and I'll try that. Just to note, I did this morning plug it into a 2.0 quick charger with a "techmatte" charging cable and it charged fully after the restart. Last night I used the cable and charger that came with the 6p.

It's good to test. :good:
Well, just wipe cache, use your device till the battery comes to the warning percentage, and then charge it with the cable and charger that came with the 6P. Check that and let us know here.
Used to be a way to wipe battery stats. Not sure if that still applies on M but might be worth looking into.

That was pretty much useless, so I was removed with latest Android versions. Now, you can just go on, and wipe cache and dalvik/ART cache.
So I wiped my cache and here are screenshots from tonight. I'll report back in the morning if it worked.

Have you tried a factory data reset?
If this doesn't work, I recommend you to take your 6P to the customer service, and let them have a look. It's good to get it diagnosed for a faulty battery/part before the warranty runs off.

No. When I woke up this morning I sis unplug and plug it back in and its now full. So it's not the charger but the phone. The phone can't go from 10% to past 88% .
This has been happening regularly with me using the USB A to USB C cable from one+. Overnight I don't need a fast charge, and have a usb plug built into the outlet behind my nightstand. This happened a few times when the phone was new, but stopped.....but now it's an every night occurrence. It never happens with the stock USB c to USB c but I don't use that overnight....I keep that out downstairs for during the day....sometimes I have really heavy use days and need a charge by 2pm. Not really sure what the issue is, but it only happens with the A to C cable.

Similar situation here. Using an old charger and a micro-USB-A to C converter for overnight charging. It makes it to 100%, but it never registers as full - the battery usage graph does not reset. However, if I top it off using the stock charger, it resets the batter usage graphs.
Hello friends
I am using OOS based xxx rom from a long time. Now I am on open beta 5, and decrypted device. I have been using magisk root, Xposed and substratum with different modules and theme overlays.
Now from 2-3 days I am getting 3 problems
1. Can't mount OTG to my phone(tried different pen drives, each time it's not detected)
2. Can't connect my phone to PC( neither in MTP nor in Fastboot also tried my phone at twrp..my PC always says device not recognized/Device is malfunctioned..tried with different PC's with different windows)
3. Dash charge not working (it was working few days back)
I never used any kind of kernels till now..
I have tried
1. Uninstalled all modules, substratum, Xposed, unrooted
2.factory reset
3. Format data, all partitions and clean installed xxx based on latest ob5
Still have the same problem
Any solutions please?

As I said... You should check the pins or go to service center.
Hello, Have you solved your problem?
Take toothpick and try to scrap all the dirt inside USBC port and on pins. I had similar issue, light touch to usb cable would break the connection and dash charge sometimes won't work. Now after cleaning everything is working fine.
But be very careful to not break USBC!!
Dash charger issue
Since today, my phone keeps cycling charging and not charging constantly on dash charge mode. If I use the dash cable with another charger, the phone charges constantly (but not dash obviously). If I use the dash charger with a non dash cable, the phone also charges constantly (but not dash). If I use the dash charger and cable with another phone (Huawei for example), it charges that phone without problem.
Please help.
I would recommend cleaning the pins inside the ubc-c portion of the dash cable that are not fully inside the hub, I believe these are the proprietary charging points for dash charge and get dirty and very finicky
Try cleaning the pins on the cable as described above and if that doesn't work, I think it's time for you to buy a new Dash cable.

Were you able to get it fixed? I am facing the same issue and wondering what to do. Funny thing that I have the same issue with my OnePlus 3T, and changing USB port on that one did not help.
My bad, sorry for not updating.
I have resolved this issue. It turns out the cable was dying, so I bought a new cable. Same wall charger.
Dash charging and USB features not working. Help!
My OnePlus 5 charges slowly with a Dash charger and USB features don't work. Does not show up in ADB, Fastboot, or normal mode. Any suggestions how to fix this?
It's probably either the cord or the charging port. I had to replace the charging port on my first op5 which had the same symptoms as you. It gets a lot of dirt in it from working in the bush.
Try a different cord and clean the port out and if that doesn't help you may need to replace the port.

I've confirmed that Dash charge does not work even with another charger and cable. I would go ahead and do the port replacement but I'm a bit sceptical that it would work. That's cause I did try to change the port on OnePlus 3T which had the same problem and it did not get fixed.

In my case a replacement charging port I bought from E-Trade supply fixed the problem. They usually have good quality parts but I found out when you get a defective one, they will only refund the part price and not the shipping which was 3x the cost in my case.
