Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Are you using a custom ROM or stock ROM? that can make a difference to the answers.

Try resetting
Settings > system > reset > network setting reset.
I hope this helps

No, it's just stock. I tried resetting and forgetting. I believe this started occurring after a recent update. I can manually start the connection and it will work for a few minutes then disable. I'm also using a VPN but the connection disables whether that's on or not.
network setting reset is in the "more" folder now. Settings >More>Network settings reset
Ok, I'm running Oreo on my Axon some of the setting are in different spots.
There has been a number of issues with networks on Axon, did you manually update or was it an ota?

It was OTA. This is the first time i've had this problem since I bought it August 16, 2017.
It's running 7.1.1
Check here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/help/wifi-stays-constantly-disconnects-t3837978
Its a common problem with the Axon 7 people on custom ROMs don't seem to have that issue.
I have the Beta Oreo I will test it some more on mine and give you my findings using it.
I hope you find a solution.
When I'm home I usually turn phone data off but I've discovered if I leave it on, wifi connection stays connected and not disabled.
**edit** I was wrong about that. It appears to stay connected longer but still becomes disabled on it's own.

After updating my google play unlocked Nexus 4 to Kit Kat 4.4, I've been constantly having problems with my WiFi being stuck in off mode.
Turning on WiFi would get the toggle stuck, while it's Grey too, and it stays stuck. Solution was to turn on and off airplane mode. Then wifi works again.
I've now realized this is triggered every time I try to enable the mobile WiFi Hotspot. It shows Error next to the check box and no WiFi network is broadcasted. I tried barnacle tether and FoxFi, and neither work. Has kit Kat broken any WiFi broadcasting? Tethering works just fine for me over USB. Something is wrong with the WiFi. Has anyone else been having this problem?
Here's some screenhots.
I did a backup in CWM, then I did a factory reset, and then I restored the backup. Everything started working just fine again.
No thanks to anyone.

If you solved the problem yourself, then you should edit the first post's title with the word "Solved" so others don't have to read your posts or try to help you.

A factory reset and cache clearing was the only sure way of fixing it. Did you by any chance install the moto x dalvik libraries?

You need to tell us more about your setup. What software version, stock? Bootloader version? If you are running OTA OG5, then first try to remove your google account, then clear data for Google play services and Google play store. Reboot, add Google account back and see. If not working then factory reset.
It ended up being an xposed module causing the issue.
I was on the Nougat beta, and I just updated to the new non-beta G930PVPU4BQAA.
Now my phone reboots itself after a minute or less of use. I can get as far as my home screen, but soon after it just restarts.
I tried safe mode, but same thing.
It might be because I had disable some apps with Package Disable, and forgot to re-enable them and/or disable admin on that app ... I seem to remember reading this might cause issues. I also have My Knox installed, if that makes a difference.
I also had some theme installed.
Any way to fix, or do I have to factory reset?
Try booting recovery and clearing cache

Hi,
I'm having a strange issue where the wifi does not work at all after flashing via MiFlash Tool. I've tried flashing via TWRP too and the same issue. On the welcome screens, when it asks for WiFi it hangs, then eventually lets me past. It does this with davinci_eea_global_images_V10.3.12.0.PFJEUXM_20190801.0000.00_9.0_eea and the Xiaomi.EU Roms!
I had LineageOS installer before this.
Whenever I click the icon in the app drawer or in Settings, the phone crashes and I have to quit the settings app.
I also get 'Find Device Storage Corrupted' error.
MIUI Version: davinci_eea_global_images_V10.3.12.0.PFJEUXM_20190801.0000.00_9.0_eea
It's not related to Miui or the flash tool. Ask the LieanageOS dev.

And for the device storage error, do you have a miui back up before flashing the custom ROM?
Unlocked S10+ received Android 10 update on Dec 25th and almost a week later, no dark mode available in gmail app.
All other google apps have dark mode, s10 set to dark theme.
Have rebooted, force stopped, cleared cache and data, cleared device cache in recovery, enabled force dark mode in developer options, loaded apkmirror latest version, uninstalled update. Nothing adding the theme selection option general settings.
Anyone else have this issue? According to Google all Android 10 devices should have gmail dark mode now.
As a temporary solution you can enable "force Dark Mode" in the Developer settings.

Tried that, doesn't do anything for gmail.
Hm, strange. Try to wipe the cache in the recovery.

Yup, also tried that, no change.
Try the newest version from apkmirror:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/googl...644823-release-android-apk-download/download/
The PlayStore is sometimes strange, because it doesn't offer the latest version.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Tried that as well, I'm running that version, Dec 4th release.
Dec 4th? The latest is Nov 21st.
Do you have this setting in the Options?

Yes, same version. Build date is 11.21, but play store shows dec 4th date.
I do not have that option, no theme option.
It is a bit strange, but when I install the Version from APKmirror, it works. I'm showing it in the Video:

Do you have an other Theme installed, because you have 5 bars in the network-strengh. Default is 4.

No other theme that I know of. Never installed anything, entirely stock.
I did everything in the video you did, still nothing. Did multiple times. So strange.

My last solution would be to uninstall the Gmail-App via ADB and then reinstall the Version from APKmirror.
But I'm not sure if this is possible, because ADB deletes the App for the current user but it keeps the file in the /system-app folder.
In the worst case, you have to factory reset the phone to use gmail again.
There is also a tutorial on XDA: https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-carrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/
Try Clear cache and clear data from the app. This worked for me.

I may wait a few weeks. I'm wondering if this is a google server side issue not recognizing my phone is recently upgraded to android 10. Factory resetting for dark gmail is a tall order.

I've tried that already. But may try again.
Disable system wide dark mode and then check your Gmail app you should see the setting. It worked for me
Thanks. I deleted some gmail accounts (had several in my gmail app), cleared cache, force stopped, trigger dark mode systemwide off and on, and now it is working.
