Ive just bought a 2nd hand Optimus 7, which i was sold as "Sim Free" but it turns out its an unlocked Orange (Says Carrier: Orange in Settings. Im on Virgin Mobile (uk).
Ive updated to OS: 7392 fine through Zune, yet when I go to LG Apps, I cant download any apps as it says I need to connect and update through Zune, but Zune says both Phone and SOftware is uptodate.
My Specs are:
os: 7.0.7392.0 / FW: 1.0.8.10 / HW. 1.0.0.0 / Radio Sw. 1.0.8.10 / Radio HW. 0.3.5.0 / Bootloader: 1.5.1.0 / Chip SOC. 0.30.2.0

I've had my LG Optimus 7 since 03rd May 2011 but I realised on other devices, in the Settings menu, there is an option called SIM applications. I don't have that on my phone. How can I enable it?

I recently bought an unlocked ATT Lumia 950. Is it possible to flash the device with retail MS firmware or whatever is bloat-free that comes with retail devices? Any help would be hugely helpful.
The reason I am asking this is because I would love to have a clean MS released OS installed in my device rather than the one tweaked by ATT. I am using this device in Canada and I don't need ATT tweaks, Welcome screen, settings and Apps. Also by having a clean OS not attached to any service provider, I can get updates as and when MS pushes them.
I also remember reading in some forums that ATT Lumia 950 cannot be installed with MS retail OS even if they are carrier unlocked. Is that true? If it isn't true, can any of you reading this point me to a forum or link where I can follow steps to fresh install my Lumia 950 (ATT Unlocked-using it with Fido network in Canada).
