I prefer using Next Launcher 3D. (version 3.20.2) It have some quirks but after setting it up works wonders. As my average full charge sustain about 2 days this app use less than 300mАh which is just few % from the charge. And although it is really old version is stable. I prefer it more than the stock launcher because of the many custom options. The only real problem is that it doesn`t let me use just any widgets but only some of them. Still I chose to sacrifice them in the name of the overall usefulness of the launcher. And yes, I know the version is old but it`s the only one I have from backup of my previous phone and for some reason the launcher is removed from the playstore. So I work with what I have.
For main theme I use [MINU]Dark Mint from the samsung themes.
If you have the problem with borders around the icons after applying new theme and the option in menu "Display" - "Icon frames" is locked in gray, even when set up before that in mode "icons only" there is workaround. Just install new icon pack. BUT! Not everyone works, most of them just change the color of the frames. So you will have to search.
I found working ones and for icon pack I prefer [TMA] Flat Candy Icons, although "Absolute Delight" also look very well. All of them are free, again in samsung themes store.
I`m currently looking for a solution for making the sliding notifications panel black with white text. For now I have found a theme making almost what I want here, in xda forum but I`m still searching for better solution.

And I love colorful themes of MIUI.

Great and can easily make it look close to stock Android through the theme app.
BUT!!! it has been only like forever, that EVERYONE is asking MIUI to have an independant volume control level for the Ringtone, and the Message (notification) tone.
Why in gods name would you want to have them locked as one sound level. On most roms, you can choose to unbridge or bridge the two.

+1000!!!!
I find MIUI pretty average.
The settings menu is a bit of a mess.
The gestures are pretty good but it's hard to not launch google while trying to launch multitask or home.
I'm not really fond of MIUI colors, it honestly feels that is doesn't have a proper identity and do not feel consistent enough (the blue/white theme isn't always respected) and it lacks a real highlight color (well there is an yellow-ish orange color that can be found often but i'm not sure if this is the highlight color).
The theme app is not available in EU so I have to change region every time i want to change a theme (which is slightly annoying)
And finally i'm not a fan of the applications groups/folder the scrolling feels a bit weird (I preferred the pager like EMUI); Same for the multitasking.
One good things about those default is that they might not exist anymore soon, Xiaomi does a lot of software update and really works their UI. From the few I've seen MIUI 10 will be more consistent in it's design and will improve it's multitasking. Furthermore the 'Theme' app will probably come to EU soon.
So overall, coming from EMUI, I'm a bit disappointed. But the facts that there is a lot of improvement done by Xiaomi and that devices who are more than 4 years old (such as MI3) are still updated makes choosing MIUI a perfectly viable choice. I can't wait to see which path MIUI will take.

This might be another area where I'm not very happy with the themes. They don't seem to have an all black type of theme or a dark type of theme. The v30 had better themes that you can download this one does not have those so I had to find one where I'd have a darkened phone dialer but the theme kind of sucks. Also your text messaging list of messages is also White background which is very annoying that was not themed out either.

Settings>Accessibility>Vision>High Contrast Screen
That will get you a black theme with the orange icons (like on the V30).

New interface is good, but I was looking for a fullscreen version I dont wanna see the navbar, then why not fullscreen immersive experience, as I see most of the phones even redmi offers it..
Waiting for this update.
Vanilla Android, what more can you say
Not sure about the Android 9 swipe stuff. Coming from 7.1, I am missing the app drawer icon and recent apps button. I'm sure I will get used to it, but change for change's sake is not needed.

Not sure it will come soon. In the meantime, you can try this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fb.fluid
It seems it does what you're looking for, I've been using it for the last month with no trouble.
Thanks for the suggestion, I will be trying out for sure, however with spilt pill and 6T setup in navbar by xda, I feel pretty comfortable ...
Thanks mate..

Pretty basic for skin but nice to see a cool animation when charging and shows the rectangle show it fill up green until full to show fully charged. The only issue is, that I would like to see when plugged in charging to show on screen the percentage change while charging, even when screen is off, like the Samsung device do. Just a blank screen and you have to unlock device to see how far the charge is going. There is really no customization on the skin. Themes is just TCL one or classic. Wallpapers basic. Nothing like a store to add more themes, icons or wallpapers. You have to download and sync your phone and add your own stuff to customize but no luck with icons unless you use a launcher.
OEM software / additions are significantly with the Android 11 update compared to how present it was in the Android 10 build. This is a welcome change. It mostly stays out of the way and seems to provide a fairly close to stock Android experience with 11.
Yeah, I got android 11 update but really seems the same with minor changes or features than what I posted before. Battery seems to last little longer.

Heavily skinned stupid settings arrangement and full with bloatware like tiktok, news app (baca plus), currier apps (J&T) you name it but you can uninstall it through adb. not my forte, hoping to custom rom this phone soon
Coming from OxygenOS, I think Realme UI is not as nice, but nothing's unbearably bad either.
Settings: Takes some time to get used to the nonstandard setting. I keep forgetting where Network Permissions is located.
Fonts: A very important aspect for me. The choice of font weight with Real Choice font (Realme UI 2.0 only) is interesting. Unfortunately, that sort of lowercase "a" is instant nope. I'd be fine with the Theme Store system, even willing to throw in some dimes for a nice font, if only they actually have fonts that look nice. As it is, the Store's swamped with unusable fancy cursive and colored fonts, so I'm using zFont instead. Further down the line, maybe I'll replace the default font using adb to get proper bold system fonts.
