Post your expectations from next update to our GT -I9300

Hi guys!!
I wanna know whole of your expectations from the next update for our S3. As tomorrow is Monday, also the expected big day like said by @Faryaab, there might be an update rolling out with either a version change or some techincal feature introduction as seen in screenshots relating to light effect on lock screen....post your anticipations and fingers crossed !!!

3) who know? i expect same launcehr/widgets and most of camera features.. better ram managment if possible and better calibrated colors..

i want all the feature that the S4 has, plus some UI change !!

I'll be happy with the new camera features.
Doesnt like the new settings but doesnt really care if they include a better ram management cuz right now is reaaally bad.

I would like see new keyboard with " @" and ".com". Also something easier to move cursor between words/letters, custom gallery folders, customized message themes, many, many things which probably i will never see and using apps make phone slow and laggy

Better ram management is enough

People will be disappointed because they have expectations that aren't in tune with the actual 4.2 update, so expect a lot of complaining

1.Want it to be SOLID STABLE
2.Want better battery life.
3.Would like lack of lags on the dialer, faster contact list.
That is what I expect from Samsung

Well, I'm certainly not the one who chose it.

Better ram management is all i can hope for but i seriously doubt it will be implemented

1-More stable.
2-Smooth as an Iphone.
3-Never freezes.
4-Better battery life.
5-No phone log lag.

I like my Moto X better than my HTC One google play edition because I can actually hold it in my hand! the One feels like a slippery bar of soap when I hold it after owning a moto X for the past 2 days. I'm glad I no longer have to use hand gymnastics on my cell phone.

Software update 17.1.A.2.69

Just got notified today of this new software update. But I can't find any release notes anywhere on sony support site as that seems to state latest version is 17.1.A.2.55. Anyone have any ideas what this small update brings?

I didn't get any notification messages but when I went to Update Centre it was listed as an update in the System tab.

You need your Z2, flashtool and pc companion, that's everything I can make ftf via teamviewer if you want? You don't even need root at all

Just go the phone today and I'm currently updating my phone. I'm here in the US and I was trying to get it to work on T-Mobile LTE but it doesn't let me. Only does 3G. Under service provider I get only ATT or TMO 2g or 3g. Any ideas?

My version is D6503. Got it figured out. Apparently it doesn't say LTE for me but when on LTE it says H+. I confirmed this with T-Mobile tech support with my download test speeds and uploads. I was getting 15down and 3up and was confirmed that at normal HSPDA i should only get something like 2-3 down.

mainly 3g but sometimes LTE.It maybe fixed with an update but for now

I hope that changes in software update, or maybe some optimizations are in order. I get more usage out of my Galaxy S5. =T

I get a full day (24 hours) being 5 hours screen on in my S4 with light to moderate usage with WIFI. When using 3G it's really worse, probably because I have poor signal and it constantly drops.
The OP probably has something installed that is draining too fast. Or maybe the battery isn't yet calibrated. Might still need some charge cycles.

I saw another reviewer on YouTube that was claiming 5-7h screen on time over the past 2 weeks so reports seem quite inconsistent

Battery will get better after a few recharges… i hope so. I cant test until i get the one :/

Well that's probably all on WiFi. Ppl need to be more clear on if its strictly WiFi, lte or a mix of both.

Invites all used up.The OPO was my friend's and he has it back.It's not my type of device.

Wow this reminds me of my Atrix. My gs3 could kill this battery. So glad I broke down and got my m8 instead of waiting for this phone. I get 5 to 6 hours screen on and 50 total battery time.

I think the problem is cyanogen. It's not known as a very powersaving ROM.

Hey,
I know I am probably gonna get no where but I will try my luck. Can you please send me an invite if you have any left as I would really really really like to purchase this phone. It looks good. Also i noticed your android system is too high which is probably what is causing the battery drain. Usually location service ( so like google now) or most likely something has got it on a constant wakelock i.e. facebook app.
