(Help) No network after turning off Airplane mode LGM-G600L - LG G6 Questions and Answers

I recently flashed android 8.0 oreo. Everything looks good except the network doesn't come back after turning on and off the airplane mode. There is a searching icon. No g6 users on the internet seems to have this issue besides me. Any suggestions?

Make sure you flashed correct firmware and try to reset your device.

I flashed it via fastboot. The ROM is RETASIA XT1562 6.0.
i think i have identified the issue, it happens when the phone is 'checking connection' after I enter my Google account. To make sure of this I flashed CM on it without Gapps and it was fine but when I flashed Gapps and after I entered my Google account (while setting the phone up) it started rebooting again.

I flashed the right firmware and I tried resetting the phone through recovery but it still keeps rebooting.

I don't try setting my Google profile while the phone is starting when it asks me to. You can also set your Google account after you have booted the phone. Maybe helps.

The same problem occurred for when I flashed the android 6. 0 moto x play rom.
To fix this I factory reseted it worked fine.
You could also try reflashing android 5.1.1 and then upgrading to 6.0 through ota update
Also make sure you flashed the correct version of the rom for you region

I tried factory reset but it still happened. I tried CM 13 and it happened in that too.
When I try to flash OTA update on 5.1.1 stock I get a 'Status 7' error so I can't do that too.
I guess I'm stuck with CM 12.1

If your phone has twrp, then try restoring the stock zip file through twrp.
You can find that stock zip in the forum.

Hi OP - has anything worked for you so far? I've got a friend with a similar issue so if you managed to fix this, then steps to replicate would be appreciated. Cheers.

Nexus Bootloop (tried flashing and wiping)

Hi,
I have a rooted nexus 6p, all was well until it decided to reboot and boot-loop when I opened my music app. I get as far as the white Google logo then the phone restarts and I'm back to the normal warning then Google logo then reboot.
I have managed to get into the recovery screen (with the android laying down) but when i choose recovery mode the phone just starts boot-looping again.
I am wondering if I have somehow managed to hard brick it?
I have tried to flash the latest OS onto my phone but it said no signature.
I did managed to wipe the device also.
Thanks for any help.
Are you on Nougat or still on MM? Since you're rooted, it means you didn't receive an OTA. Did you flash it yourself, originally?

When my phone started playing up I was still on MM 6.0.1, I tried to flash N after the boot-looping started.
Thanks

Wi-Fi forgotten on reboot or when Wi-Fi turned off

So I have android nougat [rooted] but when I reboot or turn Wi-Fi off then back on it doesn't have my Wi-Fi networks saved. I have already set ro.securestorage.support to false and it still will not work. Have a screwed something up? I just installed this a few days ago..

It is a known bug with the eng root method, i can't remember the fix. Search the root thread and you'll probably find it
Part 3 is what you're looking for.

I know my replies can be long, but would rather give too much info, than not enough.

Not sure if it'll work on stock rooted but on some roms you need to boot into recovery, wipe system/data, once rebooted and set up run the latest supersu root.bat. i belive the latest version is 2.79.

I figured out what the rebooting was from. What happened was 'master.sh' was rebooting after the sh files did their jobs, but i guess one of them wasn't doing it's job so it kept rebooting. The 'master.sh' file has a 'failsafe' where if it reboots 3 times (defined by 'reboot.count') it will cancel the reboot. I thought it was just some issue with 7.0, but while it very well could've been, i flashed the stock AP again but this time put the engboot in CP and it fixed itself after i reinstalled su.img essentially.. Can't imagine how Android 8.0 would react to EngBoot and su..

Restart After Nougat update

Hello I have a verizon S7 edge. I've Flashed The G935UUES4AQC1 6.0.1 U Firmware (Non-Rooted). Everything works perfectly. However, I keep Getting software updates For Nougat, and when I update, it installs Flawlessly But about 60 seconds after the Lockscreen it Reboots Everytime without Fail. The update is G935UUEU4BQD2. How do I Resolve this. I've Done all the basics like wiping cache and comeplete wipe/ Restore. It also Does the same thing in Safe mode. Any Ideas? or even a Better UFirmware I could Flash?

Thank you. Flashing the bootloader zip fixed the issue.
Did you happen to understand if flashing the bootloader wiped everything?

Thanks!
I have the same issue. Can someone please tell me from where do I get the bootloader zip?
So I have the same issue, but I have an unrooted H870.
First time it happened on holiday in spain, it got really hot this time. Since then it worked sometimes and sometimes not.
But now it got worse so I tried to factory reset, and an update repair with LG Bridge but nothing worked.
Now even the option of fingerprint is gone in the settings menu.
Is there a way to flash the bootloader zip without rooting the device? I guess no...
Any other suggestions?
Or should I send it in for repair/replace?
