Chrysalis Profiles - EAS/HMP/OREO/PIE/QUINDIM - HTC 10 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hello sirs, this is a simple but extremally useful mod for our beloved HTC 10. The goal here is to reach the full potential of the snapdragon 820, whether in heavy games, normal use or battery-friendly use.
This mod consists of 3 profiles of the Kernel Adiutor, you can switch between them by the application or by the widget (very useful, attached below).
About the profiles:
Gaming - extreme performance, you can't get more than this. Your battery will drain very fast, don't forget to turn balanced profile on after stop playing.
Balanced - better battery and performance than standard one.
Battery - the name says it all.
Download:
Telegram Channel
Instructions:
1- Install Kernel Adiutor 0.9.73.4
2- Unzip the Chrysalis file
3- In profiles section, import the 3 profiles
4- (optional) place the kernel adiutor widget on your launcher

Welcome to the Unofficial Boeffla Kernel App Profile Sharing Thread
Introduction
This idea was tossed around in the Boeffla Sammy Kernel thread so I decided to make one here in the General Section so that questions regarding user profiles would not clutter up the main thread.
If you want to share a profile, just upload it to your host site so that other users can grab it
For those that want to implement other user profiles to their device, simply grab the .bcprofile profile and place it in the boeffla-kernel-data directory in your internal storage and then open the Boeffla Config app and load the profile in the upper right corner of the screen.
oh, and one last thing..please remember that the Galaxy S3 is a diva and will not behave in the same manner for everybody..we all have our own unique usage patterns, so dont expect that one profile will be as effective on one device as the other..you may always tweak a profile once you download it so that it will fit your preference
=============================================================================================================================================
Read posts #2 and #6 for explanations on some configurations and settings.
All shared profiles are listed at post #3 while activation procedure is at post #4
For kernel updates and download head over to Official Boeffla-Kernel website.
For discussions regarding development, and we mean DEVLOPMENT ONLY, head over to the Boeffla Sammy Kernel thread, and Boeffla CM11.0/Omni/CM10.x thread.
All credits goes to @Lord Boeffla for an amazing kernel. :good:
**Fan teaser created by mateepunkt !**

First things first:
For those asking what config is best for which rom, THERE ARE NONE. All configs shared here are cross compatible with all roms. Ok, not all, since they are bracketed into Touchwiz and AOSP configs, but you get the idea. For all first timers, please try out Archi's and Lord Boeffla's and metalgearhathaway's configs first. I've been saying that for quite some time now. You can also use those profiles as basis for your own, which you can in turn share with everyone else.

For a comprehensive guide on all things that can be tweaked in a kernel, please read up on the following write-up by @gsstudios :
Some of the governors and schedulers and other kernel features are not implemented by @Lord Boeffla on his kernel, so just read up on those that are included in the Boeffla Kernel.

Thank you for your reply, and I have to say that I have to ask you a couple of things because you know the poor situation I'm in.
First of all, what does it happen if I uninstall the samsung push service? What I will not have any more?
What happens if I greenify to hibernate google play services as you say? Same question as above... Does it still receive Play Store automatic updates?
My connection is not the most perfect of ever as I continually switch between 3G and 2G due to my provider. Can't do anything about that. In such a way, I can say that I always have signal, wherever I go. Then, I have to say that I use a lot my device for internet, and in 2G it's toooo slow for use, I tried, especially because my provider is an H3G provider that users 3G a lot. Here in Italy using 2G connections it's some kind of bad for internet. Some provider do, bit Theo are quite slower. Maybe battery drawning for this it's the price to pay. I'll anyway put an eye to the app you say and see what it does, tnx!
My screen is always at minimum bright, and often use ScreenFilter to 40%, so I would not consider that too much, no?
About lockscreen effect - water droplet and all the sounds, well the water drop sound is off, and about the other like key pad it's also off. But I have to say that I keep my phone quite constantly in vibration mode, so dunno if sounds events are called anyway if active.
The only one it's active it's touch keys vibration because I like to feel that!
The water drop at lock screen is there, and the reason is that I have a Samsung phone and I like that unlock method. You say that it drains a lot of battery?? I should really change that?
Maybe I should first of all put my hands on the processes that run in background and in the kernel settings.
I am with PegasusQ battery, row with 512 on internal sdcard, cfq with 1024 on extsdcard, AFTR-LPA Aggressive, no cpu OC/UC, no cpu UV, some gpu freqs lowered at low steps, but still the same at high steps so to have stock freqs in games, some general gpu UV, screen touch boost at 600, Boeffla sound with all active minus the Mono output, Frandom tweaks, 4 zRam at 200 with 80%, stock LMK, no logging.
Hope to have said all.
Should I look at you second post I quoted down here for the file you linked and freeze/uninstall most off the apps listed there, and then greenify most of the remaining, keeping an eye on the system ones like you did??

1/ samsung push: nothing happens if you dont use any samsung apps like chatOn. opne play store and search for samsung push service -> read the description and you will see -> reduce a lot of wakelocks according to your BBS
2/ Greenify play store: you may lose autoupdate but they will be triggered again when play service is activated -> you dont lose any update but it is slower than normal. I recommend you to turn off autoupdate in playstore settings and update apps manually. Autoupdate is reported to consume Ram and battery -> this will reduce a lot of wakelocks (A LOT)
google play service was updated to v4.1 and claimed to save a lot of battery. I dont care, I turned it off
3/ Only use 3G when you need to surf the web. Use 2G when you put your phone in the pocket or only when you use IM chat apps like viber and whatsapp. Im fine with these
also try intelli3G. I have never used it but I think it helps
4/ using lowest brightness is very good. Use autobrightness at the lowest level in outdoor conditions
5/ DONT USE PegasusQ with AFTR+LPA -> your phone cant reach deepsleep state
If Im not mistaken, I read this from somewhere that if you use AFTR+LPA, your phone can only go to deepsleep only when there is 1 core running. If there are 2 cores running, it prevents your phone to go to deepsleep
usually, pegasusQ keeps 2 cores running and maybe switches off 1 core after a period of time (I dont know when) -> goes against AFTR+LPA
pegasusQ battery saving & pegasusQplus battery (maybe there are some more but I dont remember) are the only governors that switch off the 2nd core quite fast so if you use these, it's fine but in general, I dont recommend to use pegasus with AFTR+LPA
I use zzmoove yank battery extreme instead. If I wanna play games, I use pegasusQ battery
with exactly the same configurations, PegasusQ battery seems to be slower and makes my phone hotter than zzmoove yank battery (dont know why). It got 44*C, never happens with zzmoove. Both are set at 1.2ghz, same GPU, same UV
I monitored the behaviours of these. However, because the overheat, I cannot go with pegasusQ battery
6/ turn off all sounds and effects and see how it goes. In the older versions of touchwiz, they are reported as the culprit of using too much ram and causes too many wakelocks. I dont know sammy do fix this or not because I always turn them off from the beginning
I dont recommend using CFQ with extSdCard because according to a credible source - thanks droidphile:
it might causes problems with mediascanner. I prefer SIO and ZEN. In fact, changing these in the extsdcard doesnt bring noticeable difference, quite minor in my experience because we dont always use sdcard and the speed of this is limited. You may see noticeable improvement with internal storage
7/ you should consider the list of frozen apps. you will have more free ram because useless apps are removed. They wont consume ram and battery and cause wakelocks.
if you have a look at my screenshots, you can see, AndroidOS only took 4% -> I was surprised also, couldnt believe that. I only have ~2 minutes of wakelock in 11 hours of deepsleep. I use facebook + fb messenger + viber, they cause wakelocks. I dont greenify them
I dont dont know. there should be soneone who has time and do a lot of benchmark tests to conclude. IMO row is very very fast but writting speed is slower than the others (read over write) and battery might be a bit worse. ZEN I have no idea but it is fast and works well. Andi said it saves some battery so I use ZEN. I dont have time to test. negligible difference because s3 is a flagship. It is easier to conclude in a cheap phone
try zzmoove. Pegasusq battery mostly uses 1 core so it would cause some delay. check your battery, maybe it gets bigger => not good => considered to be replaced. If it is bigger, input current is not enough to keep phone working (quite similar to undervolt) => stucked
moreover, maybe your free ram is too low that makes it slow. increase empty app to 110 or 128. change content provider to 100

Why can't you activate a downloaded profile?:
Lord Boeffla said:
Guys, this is always the same: If this message comes up, the file which should be imported does not have the correct format.
This can happen when a download is incomplete, when browsers think they need to modify the file in any way, when there is any other corruption etc etc.
In order to check if a file looks alright, open it on a PC and check if it has:
- At the start of the file the sequence {"data":{
- At the end of the file the sequence }}
- There must be no line breaks at all in the file
It is nothing else than a JSON file, so you can open it in any text editor to see what is in.

ASV Level Explained:
Lord Boeffla said:
Samsung bins their chips according the ASV level, which can be thought of as the "quality" of the chip. The higher the ASV number, the better the chip, and the less power it needs to do its job. At the factory they mix increased gate voltages with varying body voltages to end up with a table of stock body biases. Long story short, this is how they deal with less-than-perfect chips. It's a lottery for the buyer. But since their values aren't tailored to your chip - the hope is that maybe you can scrape by with a bit less power than Samsung thought a chip of that grade could.
So in short: It tells you about which voltages will be used by your Exynos processor. Good ones can run with lower voltages, worse ones need higher voltages.
The asv level is used to look up the voltage table during bootup and initialisation phase.

Low Memory Killer Explained:
Papa Smurf151 said:
Explanation of LMK Settings (Low Memory Killer)
and
Explanation of Adj and Minfree settings
When your phone boots up, a file inside the boot image (init.rc) sets the system parameters. Things like the path to framework files, setting up your networks, and setting the limits at which programs are killed off to free RAM are done by this file. Now a super-Android-geek might dig inside the init.rc file and completely customize the low memory killer, but you don't have to do this to still get good results. The init.rc sets up six different "levels" of open applications. Let's have a look at them:
FOREGROUND_APP: This is the application currently on the screen, and running
VISIBLE_APP: This is an application that is open, and running in the background because it's still doing something
SECONDARY_SERVER: This is a process (a service that an application needs) that is alive and ready in case it's needed to do something
HIDDEN_APP: This again is a process, that sits idle (but still alive) in case it's needed by an app that's alive and running
For the most part, we never want to adjust when these apps and processes are killed off. They are the things that the programs we use need to properly function. For the more bold and advanced users, changing settings for HIDDEN_APP settings is possible, albeit with a LOT of trial and error. There's two more settings, and these are the ones most interesting to us today:
CONTENT_PROVIDER: This is apps that provide data (content) to the system. HTC Facebook Sync? That's a CONTENT_PROVIDER. So are things like the Android Market, or Fring. If they are alive, they can refresh and provide the content they are supposed to at the set interval. If you kill them, they can't of course.
EMPTY_APP: I call these "ghosts." They are apps that you have opened, but are done with them. Android uses a unique style of handling memory management. When an activity is ended, instead of killing it off Android keeps the application in memory so that opening them again is a faster process. Theses "ghost" apps use no battery or CPU time, they just fill RAM that would be otherwise empty. When this memory is needed by a different application or process, the RAM is flushed and made available for the new app. To satisfy the geekier people (like myself) Android does this by keeping a list of recently used apps, with the oldest apps in the list given the lowest priority -- they are killed first if RAM is needed elsewhere. This is a perfect way to handle 'ghost' processes, so there's no need to touch this part
So when you see settings like this 8,14,40,50,60, 75 you start with the first setting and it looks like this
FOREGROUND_APP = 8
VISIBLE_APP = 14
SECONDARY_SERVER = 40
HIDDEN_APP = 50
CONTENT_PROVIDER = 60
EMPTY_APP = 75
You can manipulate these numbers so that they are better managed and give You different aggressiveness and a faster UI
For the Smurfed Out script the settings are as follows
Lite = 8,14,55,70,85,100
Medium = 8,14,75,90,95,125
Max = 25,35,55,70,150,250
Extreme = 25,35,75,90,150,250
Minfrees are set as well but they are equal to the LowMemoryKiller ADJ settings.
I personally run them at Max while using ICS but everyone's experiences will be different.

ZRam Explained:
-CALIBAN666- said:
Once a brief statement for those who are not traveling so long in the Android scene:
ZRAM = ramzswap = Compcache
In order to explain more precisely ZRAM first need other terms are more clearly defined:
Swap can be compared with the swap file on Windows. If the memory (RAM) to complete the PC the data that are being used not actively outsource (eg background applications) so as to re-evacuate RAM free. To this data is written to a hard disk. If required, this data is then read back from there easily. Even the fastest SSD is slower than the RAM. On Android, there is no swap!
In ZRAM unnecessary storage resources are compressed and then moved to a reserved area in the fixed RAM (ZRAM). So a kind of swap in memory.
This Ram is more free because the data then only about 1/4 of the former storage requirements have. However, the CPU has to work in more because they compress the data has (or unpack again when they are needed). The advantage clearly lies in the speed. Since the swap partition in RAM is much faster than this is a swap partition on a hard drive.
In itself a great thing. But Android does not have a swap partition, and therefore brings Android ZRAM under no performance gain as would be the case with a normal PC.
In normal PC would look like this:
Swap = swap file (on disk) -> Slow
ZRAM (swap in RAM) -> Faster than swap
RAM -> Quick
With Android, there is no swap partition, and therefore brings ZRAM also no performance boost.
The only thing that brings ZRAM is "more" RAM. Compressed by the "enlarged" so to speak of the available memory. That's on devices with little RAM (<256MB) also pretty useful. The S2 has 1GB but the rich, and more than. There must not be artificially pushed up to 1.5 GB.
After you activate the ZRAM also has 2 disadvantages. The encoding and decoding using CPU time, which in turn has higher power consumption.
Roughly one can say (For devices with more than 512MB RAM):
Without ZRAM: + CPU Performance | + Battery | RAM
With ZRAM: CPU Performance |-Battery | + RAM
For devices with too little RAM so it makes perfect sense. But who shoots the S2 already be fully complete RAM and then still need more?
Check whether you can ZRAM runs in the terminal with
free or cat / proc / meminfo
I hope it helps to understand zRam!!!!

A Few Things To Remember:
-When playing around with CPU/GPU profiles, remember to reset the values first before applying another profiles. This sometimes causes the profiles to not be set properly. You can do so by pressing the reset button beside the profile selection drop down box.
-Also, when playing around with the voltage table, remember to also reset the values of the voltage table first. This is causes a lot of voltage tables to not be set properly because when you try to switch from a table to another, the table from the previous profile sticks. Keep in mind also that undervolting too much will cause not only lags but also random reboots. If you want to undervolt, do so step by step, dont just jump straight to -100 and expect the device to still be as stable as before. Keep in mind also that the chips in our S3's are different from one another, as stated in the ASV Level explanation above, so not all voltage tables in shared profiles will be as effective on all other devices.
-When adjusting LMK settings, you have to be aware of how you use your phone i.e. how much multitasking you do, games, music, etc. There is a big difference sometimes also in roms where there are an abundance of memory tweaks in the init.d folder or however the rom developer implements his memory tweaks. That also comes into play with regards to memory management. For example, in CM11, I always have above 300+mb free of RAM when idle, while only having 200+/- mb free when running Sammy based.
-ZRam is not for everybody. There are users who report that ZRam sometimes causes freezes and lag [including me], and has been widely a cause for much discussion. As Lord Boeffla has always said, if you're not a heavy multitasker, dont use it.
-It is not advisable to use a Sammy kernel profile on CM or Omni, and vise versa. There is a reason why Lord Boeffla created spearate threads for his kernels, since there is a ton of difference in the code and configuration implementation between them. As stated by him, "If you are on CM or Omnirom kernel, reset your undervolting for CPU and GPU + reset your LMK settings as they might not apply for your S3 (my profile was taken from Samsung kernel !!!)".

The Great Undervolt Debate
Raphy511 said:
Hello,
I am not sure that undervolting can increase battery life. I even think it's the opposite effect
Demonstration :
Increasing battery battery life means using less power.
Power (P) is : P=U(voltage) x I (Intensity)
Most energy used by processors is converted in heating. It is like a resistance.
Voltage for a resistance is U = R x I. (ohm)
So Power used by the processor is P = U * I = R * I * I = R x I^2
So to reduce energy consumption, we have to reduce P. We cannot change R, so we should decrease Intensity.
Power used by processor cannot be change. So if we undervolt, intensity is increasing so the processors heats more and it is the opposite effect.
So why undervolt?

Entropy512 said:
P is NOT CONSTANT.
R is semi-constant (semiconductors are weird, so can be nonlinear), gate capacitance C is constant.
If you lower V, you lower I, and thus, you lower P=V*I
That's the whole point of reducing V...
In general, UV is best for, on most devices, 3-5% reduction in CPU core power consumption before you hit stability limits. For general day-to-day use this results in less than a fraction of a percent of total system consumption being saved, but can matter if you're a heavy gamer, giving you more headroom before hitting thermal throttling and consuming less power.

I or current does not exist as a constant in transistors. Semiconductor physics are different from normal macro-electronics. The same principles still apply but they are meaningless as their magnitude are lowered to nothingness.
Main power dissipation and power consumption is caused by dynamic leakage on the transistor gate while it is switching. Secondary power consumer is static leakage caused between gate and the body.
The usual simplified formula for CMOS transistors is expressed as
Power = Voltage² x Frequency x Capacitance
or
P = V² x f x C
That's basically it in very simplified terms. And as ewdinpang said, lowering voltage has a squared power decrease in the dynamic leakage power. This has been measured and proven, from myself included.
The full expanded forumula is here:
This is a nonsensical argument, temperature aka heat, is power. If you are getting a less heated phone, then your battery life is improving. If this wouldn't be the case then you are holding the solution to the world's energy problems in your hands.

Boeffla Configuration: Make Oxygen Fly

I figured I'd share my post with you guys here on XDA. My original post can be found on the OnePlus Forums.
Thanks to @Lord Boeffla OnePlus X users finally have the Boeffla kernel. This kernel brings several features which can aid in improving the fluidity and battery life of Oxygen. Hopefully someday we'll see his work with CM 13. That aside, let's get to my configurations
1. Governor/IO
I decided to use zzmoove alongside it's optimal profile. It provides smooth scaling between frequencies while maintaining great battery life. It also seems to fix performance in games. It should be noted though that Lord Boeffla did warn me against stability issues. I don't have any but it's something to keep in mind.
In place of ROW I switched over to FIOPS for the general performance benefits.
Everything else was left alone.
2. CPU
I increased the frequency to 2572mhz and applied an undervolt. I will not post undervolt settings. Every device is different and that's something you need to take into your own hands. Just because it works for me doesn't mean it'll work for you.
I did change the hotplug to zzmoove native default.
Everything else was untouched.
3. GPU
I just lowered the minimum frequency to 27mhz.
4. Boeffla Sound
I just enabled it. That's it. If anyone wants to share their configuration I'll upload it to this post.
5. Display + LED
Am I the only person that finds the display a little warm? I set red to 248 and green to 250.
Nothing else was changed
6. Miscellaneous 1
I enabled Boeffla system tweaks
Notice: if it wasn't mentioned I never changed it. This was done with the Boeffla app. Here's a link to the original thread:

Flash the ROM and then the kernel.
Reboot.

02/28/16: Antutu results are no longer applicable. They are scattered all over the place. Some tests, I get 71k, others 44k. The kernel isn't at fault as all other benchmarks report consistent results. Geekbench seems to provide the most accurate representation at the moment so I'll keep it updated. As for Antutu, I will no longer update the scores until they change their entire algorithm.
General Recommendations
1. Don't enable multicore power saving as it's unpredictable in terms of stability and doesn't really aid battery life. I'd get locked cores and random reboots with it on.
2. Be cautious when undervolting and over clocking. Settings that may work for others, may not work for you. Every processor is binned differently.
3. Do not flash this over Blu Spark or any other kernel. Flash the ROM and then the kernel. Dependencies for each kernel differ.
4. Do not seek me expecting a fix or patch for any issues that you may have. This doesn't mean spam the author with requests either. I will try to help to the best of my abilities, but there may be an issue I can't remedy.
Profile Downloads
Attached you'll find my custom profile. Simply take it and copy it to the folder boeffla-kernel-data and then open the Boeffla Oxonfiguration app. Tap on Default and then load. My profile should show up as Swell.bcprofile.

My "Perfect" Build v1.0 - Guide (Custom Kernel, tune, zips, apks, libs, sound, vids)

My "Perfect" Build v1.0 - Guide (Custom Kernel, tune, zips, apks, libs, sound, vids)
Below you will find a detailed plan on how to get the absolute most out of your Moto G 2015. I've spent countless hours testing and tuning -- coming up with the setup shown here. Its unbelievably fast and effective, with top tier battery life, and an amazing and unmatched sound system.
Requirements (all downloads listed here are found on XDA, along with their threads for support and security verification)
*Flashables* (All found on XDA)
-CM13 Based Rom (I prefer crDroid, but also CM13 Official Nightly, and Temeseks CM13)
-G-Apps Pico 6.0 (latest version. you can install higher levels of gapps if you so desire, but pico will work just fine)
-Inazuma R3 Kernel
-Optimus R6 Kernel
-PDB-ABS Tweaks v5.0 (init.d Scripts, build props, etc)
-Project Skynet Genesys TX6
-PMB SQlite3 Engine Database v5.1
-FeraDroid Engine v0.20 Beta 3 (*optional)
-Xtreme Music v7.03
-Divine Beats Dolby Atmos v5.0
-Bravia v4 and X-Reality Engine 13-16mp
*APKS* (All found either XDA or Play)
-Selinux Mode Changer (on XDA)
-Kernel Aduitor - Modded Version (on XDA - Formerly known as Singularity)
-Busy Box Pro 1.24.1-Stericson (on XDA)
-System App Remover (Google Play)
-Terminal Emulator (Google Play)

I would recommend that you start entirely fresh -- full wipe, then clean install the rom/kernel/and zips.
...Lets Begin!!
Initial Setup:
-Download all the required apk programs and flashable zips, as well as the latest versions of a CM13 stable ROM (I prefer CrDroid for all out speed and stability)
-Wipe (or factory reset), then clean install in this order:
a)xxxxx CM13 Stable Rom
b)Open gApps 6.0 Pico
c)Inazuma R3 Kernel
d)Optimus R6 (NOT R7!!)

g)PMB SQlite3 Engine Database v5.1
h)PDB-ABS Tweaks v5.0
i)Xtreme Music v7.03
j)Divine Beats Dolby Atmos v5.0
*THERE IS A MAX of 10 ZIPS in the QUEUE. After you flash the initial 10, you can flash this next one.*
k)Bravia Engine v4 and X-Reality Engine Port
It will take about 5 minutes to flash all the zips listed above, but trust me... its worth it!
-Once all zips are flashed, wipe cache/davlik, then reboot.
-Run through setup, unchecking every single option along the way.
-Once loaded to the home screen, be sure to make your SD Card portable or permanent. (I prefer portable)

With that all said and done.
Its been a pleasure, researching all of the tweaks and tunes available. I'm sure that those who are more experienced than me have came up with better ideas, but for this hillbilly from kentucky... its the best I can do! I love this phone, and the performance it offers for budget pricing!
Sorry its so long, and probably difficult to understand. But I hope you appreciate the work I put into it. There's a few revisions I plan on making to increase battery life, with the help of xposed, greenify, amplify, wakelock tuning, etc. And I didn't really get around to talking about the sound lib and progs we installed. I can assure you, there's nothing placebo about viper4android 2.4.01, dolby atmos, xtreme music, and about a dozen or so libraries that are log proveable as working. The bravia v4 Xreality engine.... I just started using it, and haven't had time to really test it out... but it *should* give us an increase in graphic quality, especially in regards to pictures and videos. In the coming days I'll be adding a new section to further increase audio, productivity, graphics, and battery life. But for now..... this is what ya get! REMEMBER THOUGH..... SELinux MUST BE SET TO PERMISSIVE for Xtreme Music Libs to work correctly. You'll be grateful that you did!
Thank you for reading, and I hope you get as much out of it all as I did.
Have a great weekend guys! and gals!
Feel free to cherry pick, add, remove, tweak, etc. No negative talk. If you don't like my work, do your own build. But if you have something constructive to say, questions to ask, or thoughts to add.... I'd be super grateful, and pleased to read them! My goal is to get the smoothest, fastest, and longest lasting battery as possible... . blended into one neat package.
I'll have to try this when I have time. Thanks for the extensive list of tweaks and addons!
@bubbyj

I put the wrong entropy levels in. It should be 64-128 read and 128-256 write. That cleared it up on my end. Otherwise check your CPU settings. Down threshold 50-60, up 80-85, step 12-16, conservative gov, conservative hotplug profile, intelliplug active, touch disabled in all locations. Sync disabled. Boost 0ms. If this fails, post screenshots of kernel auditor, each section. We will correct the problem for you.
-------
Yes, the inazuma provides a few options that optimus r6 and r7 don't. And vice versa. And because optimys uses any kernel, it simply overlays its settings on top of the existing one.
R7 has 1401 oc, but loses the intelliplug hotplug. It also loses adreno idler. And has a r6 few unique features added compared to inazuma r3. So by installing r3, then dirty flashing optimus r6, you get a hybrid kernel that offers the best of both. You get all freqs from 200 to 1401, with an added 300mhz state. You get intelliplug hotplugging. You get GPU oc and under clock of 100mhz for extreme battery savings and retain the adreno idler. You get all of optimus optimizations and updates, as well as all the governors and schedulers combined. Its really an awesome kernel that results in crossbreeding the two.
Edited the original post. Made extreme renices optional, fixed entropy causing CPU loading (now 64/128 or 128/256, whichever works best for your usage). Also removed battery optimize from ABS tweaks. It works well, but may cause lags.
It works fine without skynet and abs but the moment i flash any of those two the cpu jumps ans stays at 1,4 ghz
Where do you get R6? I can't find a link only for r7

Can someone just send me direct links to the correct version of each flashable files I need to download? I've tried doing this myself multiple times, but once it flashes the "audio enhancer" files it starts to say "unable to mount /data" and "unable to mount /storage" in the TWRP log, and when I reboot into the device, it takes a few minutes to "optimze apps" then it just sends me to the Cyanogenmod boot screen and it stays there. I really shouldn't be asking you guys for something like this but I've had to, multiple times, wipe my data and I'm just getting a bit frustrated since I really want to try this build. Thanks in advance.

The problem with skynet is the jump in entropy settings to like 2048 or so, that automatically occurs on some phones. This causes the cpu to lock in at 1.4ghz and pretty much stay there, and loading at 60-80%. I'm going to be offering a brand new build based around the AOSP roms that are popping up everywhere. I'm currently testing it thoroughly. Expect a new thread with a smoother, faster, snappier, and cooler running phone based around this new platform -- probably by the end of the week.
It will include an entropy fix with it. My current settings are 1536 and 256 (read-write) and it does great!
And just one more thing --- along with the new build I'll be offering, I'm also working on an intense battery build. I understand fully that not everyone is interested in squeezing out every last bit of performance and instead desire a usable phone that lasts much longer between charges. I've been working on it off and on for about 3-4 weeks now and have found some amazing tweaks and mods that'll accomplish that goal. The hardest part for me, is being an all out performance nut --- I lose interest in increasing battery life once the performance aspect starts to suffer. With that said, I'm going to be putting my wants to the side and focus much more on the community.
MAJOR UPDATE INFO:
It has came to my attention in the last week or so, that the latest builds of MM --- CM13 based --- DO NOT WORK WITH THE INAZUMA R3 and Optimus R6!! It will bootloop indefinetly. Only versions of CM based roms from prior to about 4/10/2016 will work with it. I've read about it on a few other threads, and tested it myself. It DOES NOT work. It appears to be a problem with the Inazuma R3 Kernel (you can view the thread to see a few people saying the kernel bootloops on the latest versions). The developer is apparently aware and is working on a fix.
As far as the 'unable to mount' /data issue, this occurs now and then with flashables. For me, the fix is to reboot twrp back into the recovery. Don't reboot system. Just reboot recovery, then continue to add your selections. The one that does it most often is the PMB SqLite3 database 5.1 --- and thats about 99% of the time. Hence, I install it at the very last.
I want to apologize for the problems that people have been having, many were my fault and I take responsibility for that. Luckily, everything is fixable and you can always return to your previous setup without issue.
AOSP Version 1.0 will be released by Friday evening.
CM13 version 2.0 will be released shortly after, with fixes to all the issues that have been brought up on here. Thank you again for point the problems out, and giving this a try. See you guys soon!

Alright, I am rather a noob. I've been seeing ''AKT this", "AKT that" around the threads, but just yesterday did I really discover what's up with that AKT... It took me a lot of searching as it wasn't quite apparent what to install and where to get it, the threads are a bit messy, hence this one. Correct .APK for Zuk Z2 Plus attached. ADVANCED KERNEL TWEAKS
Asiier said:
I'm about to tell you how to get buttery smooth, lag-free performance with insanely good battery life, using an old school governor featured in practically every kernel... This tweak is applicable to every phone with any ROM or kernel--stock or custom--that provides the Interactive Governor.
Yeah, yeah... everyone promises good battery with great performance, but who actually delivers? Maybe it isn't as smooth as you want, or maybe it requires something your kernel or ROM don't support. Or maybe the battery life promises just aren't what you expected. There's always some awful compromise. Not here!
This isn't a guide to get 36 hour battery life... provided you never use your phone. That's deep sleep optimization, which is lovely and all, but what good is the phone if you can never use it?! And with the new Marshmallow Doze feature, this strategy is becoming a thing of the past. What I'm talking about is 7-14 hour screen on, actual hands-on usage times! Without compromising anything, you can get 7-8 hour screen on usage with regular, no-compromise usage habits: daytime visible screen brightness, both radios on, sync on, network location on, all the regular usage features, the whole kit and kaboodle... all smooth as a baby's butt and snappy as a Slim Jim! (Up to 14+ hours if you can stand minimum brightness and WiFi-only with a custom ROM and other stuff turned off! And this is with stock voltages and full frequency range--you'll likely get even more if you choose to optimize those as well!)
However, it should be noted that this does not apply to gaming, heavy camera use, etc. Anything that is an automatic battery killer in and of itself. There's nothing that can be done about anything that forces the phone to utilize its maximum resources all the time. But you should know that by now. Further, this guide is about optimizing the CPU as much as possible. It does not cover things like eliminating wakelocks so your phone sleeps well, removing unnecessary and battery draining stock apps, keeping your screen brightness down*, and all that stuff that's been covered in other posts ad infinitum. Those optimizations are up to you.
If you really want to know the principles of this tweaks, please go to this thread since there everything is really well explained and I know you guys just want to apply the tweak and forget about everything behind it

this is really old news now, also AKT was designed around Nougat, and most ROMs now is Oreo. Helix Engine is a much more optimized version of this tweak, with profile changing upton every app so that you still have top notch performance and good battery on two separate apps
There is also a new app on the AKT thread that can be used on oreo to apply Oreo specific profiles instead of using ek kernel manager

It does not contain "Oreo" profiles per se, but allows for applying/saving/comparing profiles and loading/converting shell scripts. The Oreo AKT profiles are included in the post.
I'd be interested to know if and how well it works on your devices, since it's been made and tested on OP3/3T.
Pretty good actually , i have tested it out a lot across multiple roms
If the op wants , you have my permission to go through my post history, extract the relevant posts and put them on this thread , just mention me somewhere ?

Zhana seems to be the most used, but obviously try out others too if that does not meet your needs.
To me, the lag with Zhana is next to zero.

To me, Zhana Battery and X.A.N.A. Extreme are the best profiles for battery saving. When in moderate use, I use the Zhana profile on my ZUK Z2, which gives me 8h29min of screen usage (WhatsApp, YouTube, Netflix, watching anime online, using Mozilla Firefox and Spotify all day). When I want to play with performance focus I use the balanced profile Ghostpepper and I do not have lags or blocking playing PUBG Mobile, however the battery consumption is higher, which is normal. All this accessing the Wi-Fi. When I use 4g, I choose the X.A.N.A Extreme Battery profile, and yesterday, provided me as per the attached screenshot. Even using X.A.N.A. I have no lags at all when I play.

For me, it works perfectly and it accomplished all that I'm going to state, but maybe you guys will experiment lags.
This tweak is not for everyone.
Probably the most battery efficient tweak ever created, fantastic battery with extremely smooth performance even playing games as Clash Royale or Pok?mon GO.
You can easily get 10 hours SOT or even more (If you don't play any games) just texting, browsing and so on could give you even 12 hours SOT.)

Nnmyeah, not happy with it, the CPU is awake for no reason. Moving on to XANA EXTREME.
Just to clear my doubt.
Install the apk, apply the profile on any phone (that supports interactive governer) and done.
Right?

I'm on AICP 12.1 (based on Nougat 7.1.2) with Magisk, and I'm on Project Zhana Battery, but I find no difference between normal usage and AKT. I'm still getting only 5-6 hours SOT.
Is there anything else I have to do?
Is AKT magisk module better than the APK?

Probably your kernel has touchboost enabled. I had to switch to Heliox (from 15.10 as recommend by other AKT users) to see any difference.

I am going back to Zhana, seems most stable. I'll stop messing with the phone for awhile and see how its gonna go.
Zhana always keep the phone under 40 degrees. With the others, I've seen even 55 = inefficient processing.

Yes sir. Any Snapdragon 820 phone, rather. And touchboost disabled. I had to switch to Heliox (from 15.10 as recommend by other AKT users) cause my original aex 4.4 kernel had touchboost @ 1000mhz for 1 second I guess.
---
Apparently, the module is basically the older version of the app before they managed to make it work as an app.

AKT does support Oreo and although most profiles have been developed on Nougat, people report they work well on Oreo too. In the AKT thread you can find the FusionOBeta, which is now under development for Oreo (on OnePlus 3).
As far as prerequisites – you'll see everything in the post. My app does not have any profiles in itself. It allows loading profiles from files (scripts or "profile" files). In the post I have included a ZIP with all AKT profiles as script files. If you want to apply one, you can follow these steps:
1. Install the app and run it once (also allow root)
2. Unzip the AKT scripts and place them a sub-directory in the "Kernel Profiles" directory. They can be anywhere, but it's easier for you.
3. Open the app and use the "run script" feature. Then navigate and apply the script you want. Note: This may require you to have busybox installed, so I'd do that in advace. Also the AKT script do require a bit of time to apply, so be patient.
4. You can stop here, if you want, the profile is applied. If you restart, your device will be restored to stock settings. If you want you can do the following:
A: from the app settings, select the script you want, to apply on boot
or
B: keep reading
The app is generally made to work with "profile files", not scripts. So if you want better support, after you apply the script, you can save the current settings as a "profile" and apply that. That way the app will show the currently applied profile and allow for easier swap between two profiles.
Let me know, if I can be of further help.
