I'm not sure if this is the complete correct thread but I really need to know how to get the 60/120FPS fast motion working on Pie roms.
I've tried multiple Oreo roms and 120fps fast motion works but not on Pie roms
When I record I have the option to select 60FPS or 30FPS but it feels like 30FPS regardless of what I choose

Im thinking about going back to AOSP because my phone has been doing dumb things lately.
I Use Smooth motion a lot on my phone.
I was wondering if There is an AOSP rom that features 60fps 1080p recording??

Actually frame rate in low-light conditions drops to 15 fps... So first we need to fix that
the sAOSP rom, can record at 120fps
i have 2 videos in my pc and MPC shows 120fps and the look like 60fps
so try that rom

and remember, the rom hasn't MIUI Camera

On stock MIUI and sMIUI
The camera says it records in slow motion, but we don't get a raw 120fps or whatever it runs at, it just downscales it to 30fps

Hi Mate,
Some Basics : To capture slow motion video the Camera in our phone needs to have a higher FPS ( Frames Per Seconds ) capturing capacity. The more frames captured in a video, the smoother slow motion video can be generated. An ideal FPS for capturing a slow motion video of 720p resolution is 120 FPS.
Lenovo K4 Note only has 30 FPS as the highest capturing frame rate so unfortunately we cannot capture slow motion on our device. I am not much learned about camera hardware & software in mobile phones but I think it is a combination of hardware and software more dominantly the hardware which has to be capable of higher FPS. So even if you get some app or mod or any software level tuner for increasing the FPS in android phones, K4 Note might still not be able to capture higher FPS than 30. Which means there is nearly no possibility to capture Slow Motion in Lenovo K4 Note.
You can buy the new Redmi Note 4 which has 120 FPS @720p resolution if you really want to capture videos via mobile phone. But I would prefer buying a DSLR which can give you more options & possibilities for slow motion with better quality video than a mobile phone camera.

There's no app/way to do it. Unfortunately our device has low 30fps for video recording. To record slow motion need at least 120 fps.

Try this . After you film, the app willy convert into slow mo video . Be sure to adjust the proper resolution.
