Hi Devs,
Can miui 10 be ever ported to mi A1. Let me know please
How many threads are there asking for the same things? This is not the MIUI forum, where people come to ask always the same stupid things over and over. U want MIUI? U had to buy the 5X, same phone but with MIUI, look at the back of your phone, it says ANDROID ONE, go check what it means.
Like previously stated there is no need to post the same question again. Just wait patiently for the question to be answered.

Hello everybody. I did this because I want to know how long time you change Roms. I'll change every week, at the moment, i use the Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 3, and perhaps change tomorrow Miui Rom, or at least try it.
Sent my Htc One, powered Paranoid Android

Guys, just curious to know if we, Zenfone 5 owners be lucky enough to get Android 7.0 Nougat. Are any ROM experts already working on this? Thanks guys for the awesome work on other ROMs. :good: :highfive:

@v1n0d Stop asking for nougat, we are lucky that we received marshmallow, devs are doing the possible to make nougat
And, just PLEASE, when you start typing the title, check for similar threads who are asking the same question (It'll show links when you start typing). So instead of creating new thread everytime, just post on the relevant thread.
Stop making thread asking for nougat, and please, do not bother developers.
Hello, can someone try this tutorial to port MIUI rom? I have not got unlocked bootloader, so I can not try it. If there will be someone interest in this. Try it, please.

Wrong SECTION. You should have posted this in Questions & Answers
It is probably almost impossible:
1 ) We need clear AOSP as a base because if not there will be so freaking much bugs to resolve that it is not worth it
2 ) MIUI require special porting way for diferent socs there are diferent sources for snapdragon, diferent for mediatek but did not see any for our kirin
3 ) It need a lot of testing reainstalling so there need to be someone who can live without his p9 Lite
4 ) There is needed someone who knows how linux works and someone who know good miui rom
5 ) Maybe it would be possible with AOSP as a base but we dont have it and it is hard to port clear aosp so will not even sit with this
6 ) You have stock EMUI which is similar you dont need MIUI
7 ) I dont have actually time to even put linux in virtual machine so wont do this
8 ) This thread is in wrong section so need to be moved to q&a but I think I answered you question
9 ) Even if it is possible you will not even try this because you have locked bootloader. So if you will unlock it to install rom so why not to unlock it now and build it on your own? Just learn how to do this. For me on my old phone it did get a week to have a booting rom. But there was clear AOSP. Here I dont know will be longer so go ahead and good luck
OK changed my mind. Will try to build based on cm13 but nothing to promise and dont know when will find some time so dont expect anything
Thank you for your post
Please help me
1.- Wrong place
2.- If you really "need it" go to Miui Forums
Maybe a MIUI build will apear here, but it's difficult if there's no Source Code to work with. Mi 5X and Mi A1 are different devices, so everything is hard right now.
Oh, here we go again. I guess there must be something to automatically remove posts asking for MIUI for A1
Yesssssssss
Have You ever tried to search instead of spamming...
If u really wanted miui on a device like mi a1 then why didn't u buy mi 5x. Moderators pls remove this thread
Brother, In India we have only one option to purchase that is A1 with Stock android..
I love miui9 custom rom . That's why we asking abt this. Please understand.
Currently You have 3 options;
- Learn to live with Android One
- Hope that someone ports MIUI to A1
- Swap to another Xiaomi phone...

India is one of the largest market to Xiaomi, so I don't believe that nobody is selling 5X there.
Hi there,
I just got my brand new Redmi Note 7.
It's been many years that I don't mod my Android phones and since I don't like much MIUI i would like to change OS.
So it's a silly question, i've searched for other threads but I didn't find anything (so if you find any other threads talking about this please link it to me):
I'm a newby about this, with a new phone looking for the best mod for stability and speed (used mainly for workd and daily routines - banking etc), therefore how should i proceed? How do i install TWRP or any other good recovery?
I need a fresh and simple Android OS (stock one if possible or Lineage OS)
Do i need to send an email to Xiaomi to unlock my phone? (i'm asking because i've read several times this)
I want to install also Google Camera and xposed
Thanks for the help and sorry i'f it's a double post.
Look in the guide thread
Basically u need to unlock bootloader via Xiaomi tools first. Then it's like every other phone. There is an all in one guide in the Guides section of RN7 device forum.
