Not sure if this is the right place...sorry.
My Galaxy s8 (Sprint) plus wifi keeps shutting off by itself. Annoying as hell.
How do I fix this? I reset network settings to no avail.
I have Oreo so any time I Google help it shows me instructions for old android version which seems to be completely different from oreo. The settings they send me to change aren't there!
Thanks in advance.

For a couple of days I am experiencing problem with my Wifi on my Galaxy S4 (Korean E300L version). I turn it on, wifi icon in notification drawer becomes pale green (like it normally does when looking for Wifi network), keeps like this for 10-15 seconds, then turns off. Exactly like filmed in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Om8DAV9fAnU
I tried many things already such as:
Factory reset the latest KitKat stock rom
Revert back to Jelly Bean
Use different apps to switch on Wifi such as Wifi Manager, Wifi Hotspot, Wifi Fixer
Switching of Wifi power saving mode
Root and delete files containing Wifi settings
Even I tried this unbelievable fix of the hardware, by dismounting the grey back panel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEnSQMNJmnc
None of them solved my issue. I suppose this is a software problem, but I am running out of ideas. If anyone can give me further hints what to do I would be really thankful for any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.:fingers-crossed:

Hi,
I've Noticed that Location(Network/GPS) Turn Off Automatically after a period of Time in Official Samsung Roms, i noticed this on Samsung Galaxy S5 & even in a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, look like this is related about Official Samsung Roms, i've tried to find a Settings maybe about sleep Policy but i didn't find anything,
How to Keep Location/GPS On until the User turn Off Explicitly by himself ?
Thanks
Anybody know about this issue ?
With 6.1.1 I was able to stop notifications from turning on my screen. Since the update to 7.0, no matter what my settings, text messages (using Textra) always turn on the screen.
Does anybody know how to stop this?
Seems like I remember the exact same thing happened with my HTC A9 when it updated to 7.0 as well. But, I was able to stop it. For some reason, the Axon 7 will not stop, no matter what settings. Unless of course I'm missing something.
Thanks!

I have the exact same issue. Posted on official Axon 7 forum but no help so far.
Hi,
I have Windscribe VPN Pro account that I have been using for the past 1 year. The service is good overall. I used to have a Moto G4 and windscribe worked fine with it. Recently, I upgraded to Samsung Galaxy S10+ and then I started to have problems with my Windscribe VPN. It gets connected, but disconnects after few minutes. I did some research and based on some of the google search/reddit results, I disabled the battery optimization for windscribe app and used the "Always on Display" feature. However, even after these fixes, Windscribe is having issues to stay connected.
I recently discovered that it stays connected as long as the phone is awake. My display is set to "Off" in 30 seconds. As soon as the 30 seconds time limit reaches, phone goes into "Sleep" mode and Windscribe gets disconnected.
I tried looking at all the settings I can think of, but nothing seems to resolve the issue.
Does anyone have an idea of what's going on? If someone can help me resolve the issue or give some pointers, that would be helpful.
Thanks,
Balaji.
Hey, I recently came across an frp locked S7 Edge (SM-G935F), i was trying to follow a video online (This one)
But every time I get to where you should turn on the Bluetooth it won't activate.
Everyone in the comments on this video and similar videos are saying that this worked for them.
Does anybody know why it isn't working for me? I'm assuming my Bluetooth is broken at this stage.
EDIT: I found a way around it to get to Google using Samsung pay.
You login to Samsung pay and then on the terms and conditions screen go to customization service and you can manage to get to google.
The new problem is that when you try and download something it puts you back at the customization service link, so i cant access the phones settings.
Also if it matters the stock rom is G935FXXS8ETC1, CSC: XEU
So, for anyone with the same issue it turns out the Bluetooth is in fact broken. If you wait on the screen for a long time and then try turn it on sometimes it will turn on.
After that there's alot of guides for turning frp off.
Anyways this post was written on the S7 Edge SM-G935F on Floyd's android 10 rom. ?
