Cyanogen with no market app

Does anyone have issues with the market app not being installed on Cyanogen? I have the latest ROM and it seems to be the only thing not working. This is a problem because I dont know how to download the one program that allows you to download things. Anyone else have this problem? Do I need to reinstall Cyanogen?

Did the same thing on my girlfriends G1, u gotta install the Gapps for market to work. I'm looking for themw now

sorry for noob question, but how do i do that?
i got no file explorer or something installed with the rom...
*EDIT: I did that using the same method of flashing a rom! works great!

it`s my first time here, and... i don`t know what you talk abaut here. Tell me like you would tell a noob, how i can install market app for cyanogen ?

you need to flash the zip file from within clockwork mod... also this is the windows mobile hacking section.. might want to post questions in the android section for more accurate answers

Excuse me, if you would read this is the WINDOWS section - as far as I know Cynogen makes stuff for ANDROID.
And the answer of your question is out there - GO SEARCH.

[Q] Market problem after rooting X8

I explain the problem i encountered .
I have an x8 with Fw. 2.1.1.A.0.6 ,rooted with superoneclick ,xRecovery,and Black Htc theme installed with app2sd support.
I can't download any app from Market, it stuck's on downloading or it says that was an download error.
Could someone help me with this?
Someone of you can give me the Vending.apk for X8 ?!

Thank you but didn't work,tried just now...

first of all try clearing the cache. if you cant do this you may have a version of it that has it disabled. I asked a specialist from SE who came into work today to demo the xperia play prototype

Why do you need Vending.apk? Did you delete it or something?

I see that my market app is old style and i don't understand how is this possible?!
I hope a new install of vending.apk will solve my problem.

Google Play Services Wont Run After Upgrading To Lilipop?

I'm new to this, I used odin to upgrade from 4.2.2 to 5.1.1 but now everything is messed up, Nothing runs when I bootup the phone i get messages one after another "app name" has stopped working.
When I installed the ROM I didn't make any backups of the original OS.
What do I do to fix this, Right now I wouldn't mind having any version of android as long as the phone works. This is not my daily driver, I just used it as a chrome cast for my tv.

Can a moderator please delete this thread since I figured it out.

Edit the title to say [Solved] and say what you did so others with the same problem can find the solution. Threads are rarely deleted.

Dual boot patcher mbtool error

I Installed dual boot patcher app on my samsung galaxy note 4. But when i click on rom. The primary rom (stock rom) is not shown. I am getting error "failed to load mbtools".
Please can anybody help.

How many roms do you have installed? Can you take screenshot for me to make it easier for you.

Only stock rom is installed. I have installed TWRP & SuperSu. Downloaded latest dual boot patcher apk and when i click on rom. I am unable to see my primary rom only getting the said error.
I will post the screenshot when i get back home.

Wrong here, your question should be placed at Q&A, or rather, at the thread of the dual boot patcher (you can use search button to find).

Strange App

hey guys,
i just found an app on my device which got no logo (look ss pls) or description or anything else! How can i find out what it is and what it does? it was curious cuz i always got some popups with advertisments in it, so i was wandering and took a look. after i found that, i disabled every single right for this app.
my g955f isnt rooted - never was, and the newest fw is installed.

Scam apps. Delete it. Ive had em too. Its from installing apps from unknown scources like apk pure.

ok done! thx! i just wanted to know more about this app but nvm, i just deleted it.
howto infect? only at installing unkown sources, or any other things (like spam mails, etc.) too?
