My Phone's Battery is draining too quickly - Nokia 6 Questions & Answers

Hello, as you saw in the title of the thread, my Nokia 6's TA-1033 SS that is Rooted on Android 7.1.2 battery is draining very fast, and the cause of that draining is "Screen", my luminosity is at 45-40%, my standby time is only at 1 min., and the most strange thing is that Android System says that i only have approximatively 6h left before my battery goes to 0% but my battery is at 92%, and it's still draining now for no reason while i'm writing this. I searched the cause of this drain but couldn't find it, i'm using Greenify but nothing changes. Maybe I need to unroot my phone and upgrade to Android Oreo ? I don't know, if some of you Nokia 6 users have already faced this problem and solved it, please help me, it's really annoying. Thanks.

Alarm Clock causing idle battery drain?

When I first got my phone battery life was really good. However, I started noticing a couple of days ago that it started draining more rapidly so I installed GSM battery to find out the culprit and left my phone on overnight.
What I found out was that my alarm clock was the main problem of the android OS draining my battery while it was idle! WTF.
Any ideas besides rebooting my phone?
From the GNex to this, the inconsistencies and fluctuatings between battery life daily is killing me. Plus the battery graph isn't showing flat anymore.

I get this from the Alarm Clock Plus app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vp.alarmClockPlusDock&hl=en
So I guess it's not actually the fault of the app if you're getting something like this with the stock clock app?
Does anybody else have this problem?

HTC DESIRE 816 A_DWG model battery issues.

My device is not rooted and on stock rom, I upgraded it to Marshmallow. Offical version, I have done a hard reset with wiping cache so that it works best. Which it was but suddenly now it drains a lot of battery. It was on 76 % and in 4 hours (when my screen was off but only 3G enabled) it drained to 20 % when I checked in the screen off section it shows whatsapp used 82% battery while the screen was off.
I want to know if someone else is also facing this issue, Also I have installed greenify after that to notice it.
Question to ask here is why did doze not work when my device was off and also it shows that whatsapp is on optimise ?
Even when it was on Lollipop just whatsapp never drained so much battery, even after upgrading it to marshmallow I did not notice such a huge drain for a few days ( probably I was not noticing it ) so suddenly what went wrong ?
Any help is welcome.
Thanks Again.
screenshots for whatsapp battery stats?
As I have tried many things now and even charged it back do not have that. Sorry but it was showing as whatsapp usage of 81% when screen was off.

S7 Edge Battery Issue

Hi! It is a first for me to post a thread here at XDA. I really need your help regarding this battery issue on my S7 Edge Exynos (Factory-Unlocked). The first time I got this device I was very impressed the camera, screen and most specially the battery life - hands down for this device. But I had an issue on my first device and the Samsung Service was able to replace it - the first device got a stuck pixel and then the replacement unit got another issue, another pixel problem. So, Samsung Service did is to replace the screen, actually they replace most of it to make it short they only transfer the internals from another new phone - the motherboard, camera, and battery even the back panel is new. Then after I got the unit and updated the OS to Marshmallow 6.0.1. April 2, 2016 security patch level I notice that it drains battery faster that the first time I got the device. I guess a 8-10% per hour when using it on LTE, locations off, sync off, auto-brightness on. Then what I did is visit Samsung Sevice to let them check the device, they hooked it up on their pc and run a diagnostic test and no battery problem found. I was wondering if my battery usage is normal. I was not a techy guy but I just compared it before it got fixed from 100% to 99% it drains I guess for 2-3 minutes and a screen time is 3-4 hours max and 15 hours on battery. Really appreciate your help! Thank you! By the way the apps I regularly use are facebook, instagram, twitter, social messaging apps and most of the time web browsing on chrome.
Paragraphing? Search? Did you try? Follow the links, read...
Yes been trying to search regarding this issue and found some but does not directly answer the issue on my device. Anyway thanks.
Facebook is a well known battery drainer, maybe install GSam from the play store and monitor what is draining the battery the most.
Okay will take note on that. Thanks alot!
I had really crappy battery lifetime and it drained juice like hell! I made sure wifi and bluetooth was off when sleeping(screen off). Tried every guide ive found but newer got to the root of the draining problem.
I did an factory reset and the problem was GONE. Now I have 1,8%/hour drain with normal usage included bluetooth headset connected, and 50% brightness with batterysaving enabled. kept 100% after unplugging from fastcharging for 1hour without usage.
If u struggle, try a factory reset! its simple, and if u have backup it doesnt take long to recover!

Look at your firmware version. If it ends in APD1 or higher, then battery drain is a known issue that can only be fixed by downgrading to APC8 or lower. In battery stats, if Android System has double digit (12%+) drain then you have APD1 or higher and the known battery drain issue.
Okay thank you! really appreciate your advices.

Drastic battery drain on Android Pie (TA-1053)

I hope this gets a fix soon, as many users are also reporting this.
Battery life is horrible to the point that I have to turn on battery saver from a full charge just so it would last the whole day.
Standby idle isn't friendly either.
Should have kept Oreo.
have you tried a factory reset?
Hmm... to my surprise I have complete opposite experience. Took my wife's Nokia 5 as a backup phone. However the battery was in very bad state ( she use Facebook and WhatsApp) . From full charge it took less than 4 hours to go down to 30% or less. Couple days ago got notification that system update available. And it was OS 9.0. So did the update and to my surprise the phone goes through the day easily with mild usage.

is it battery problem or hardware problem?

device battery started draining so fast from past 1 week. phone always stay hot even in screen off state. first i thought it was custom rom problem so i tried android 11, few roms in android 10, stock android 10, stock pie then went back to clean flash oreo so many times then clean flashed pie stock also qfil flashed but result was always same device stays hot and drains battery.
the discharge rate was 10% per hour on screen off and 17% when screen on. i was thinking to change battery but device always stay hot seems like hardware problem. i don't want to lost money for battery if it is hardware problem. accubattery says my battery health is 90%.
right now im using nusantara project android 10 without gapps. using very few apps with always power save mode on in kernel holding battery drain 50%. now heating and draining is less like 5% drain per hour in sleep mode.
