I was wondering if it is possible and would run well installing a rom for SM-G935W8 on a SM-G935FD. I would like to do it to acquire the additional bands it has for using AT&T. I know they both use the same version of LineageOS hero2lte

Hi,
I am planning to buy S5. I am more concerned about the support in XDA forum for my phone.Without doubt G900F has the maximum support in here. However, I found a Dual SIM version model for GM900F (which is GM900FD).
I wanted to know can I use all of the support provided here for S5 GM900F can also be re-used in 500FD too? (Including ROMs which are modified to work for F model)
I thought keeping the dual sim radio intact with no change in it whereas just changing the ROM would not create problem.
Please correct me if i am wrong?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Metro Pcs (sm-g900t1) and i cant seem to find any custom roms that support this model , i heard from somewhere on this site that i can use the Tmobile custom roms (sm-g900t) since my phone is just rebranded , well i wanted to know if that was true. can i just do that ? or do i need to flash the firmware and change it to sm-g900t ? any help will be thankful.
As long as g900t1 and g900t have the same hardware internally, you should be good with using g900t ROMs
I am currently using the galaxy s5 neo and when I look for stuff about my specific device model I can only find SM-G903F (USA) or SM-G903M (EUROPE), when mine is SM-G903W (CANADA). When I rooted my device using chainfire I used the root method for the USA version and it worked fine. So why first question would be, when looking for roms, mods, etc.. is it okay for me to always use the USA versions? Are the devices so similar that it doesn't matter? Or does it matter app to app?
Second, what is a safe way to install exposed on my device? I tried flashing ithe but soft bricked my device so I think I'm doing something wrong? Anyone have a detailed explanation?

I have the Same issue/Question. I have a SM-G903W which I've managed to root and install twrp on, and it's running 6.0.1. I'm looking for some custom roms so I can finally get off stock, but I am seeing very little discussion around the SM-G903W variant.
Does anyone know if the US versions of the roms will work?
i purchased a S7 Edge from Sprint and have been wondering and searching for a Root Method / Rom for my phone. Thank U

I'm looking to regain 2 features: Mobile Data on/off button from the Quick notifications bar & to back up Apps using Samsung backup (2 features that exist in the international variant but not in the Canadian one). - Thanks!

You can use the Renovate Edge ROM. I've been using it since I got the phone works fine. Although I can't vouch for the latest Android 7.0 version, the stable 4.0 version of the ROM is 100% working.
