Am I missing something. Had a large pdf on my MDA Pro and could not find an easy way to search for specific text.
Hi,
I using my htc touch hd for reading scientific papers which almost al of them are in pdf format. The high resolution screen of the HD makes it quite clear and comfortable to read. However Adobe Reader LE is lacking the highlight and mark text options which is really unhandy for me.
Does anyone knows another pdf reader which does containt these options? If so, would it be able to actually safe those highlighted texts as addition layer and transfer it to pc. The meaning is to be able to read and mark publication when travelling and to be able to read them on pc with the saved highlighted text.
Thanx
Hi. I use Repligo by Cerience.com - converts PDF to their own format and lets you highlight, comment & set bookmarks. Take a look! I've had this program for years but I can't find it now on their site for WinMo. If no sucess try Foxit Reader instead - a good pdf reader.
Thanks for your reply. I try it immediately
Hi,
Is it possible to listen to a text file/doc or pdf file being read out? I got Froyo on my HD2.

If have Mdeejay_eVo_Sense_v._2.0_REVOlution on my HD2 and use moon+ reader from android market place. Yes it does read out text to me though it uses a female robot voice to do so.
In settings you go to voice input and output. Then text to speech settings then Install voice data.
I wave my HD2 face down and it will read any text open in moon+ reader.
I suppose it would work on other apps but I'm satisfied with what I've got...
I want to use Nook simple touch for reading lecture notes. The thing is that notes contain a lot of mathematic symbols, the format i use is pdf. I tried other format and everything was messed up. When i use pdf version in normal letter size everything is ok but letters are too small for relaxing reading, so when i try to increase letter size everything is messed up (mathematics types are lost or get confused).
Does anyone know how to deal with that?? I tried some other reader apps but everything is much worse than the default reader. Unfortunatelly i can not use a lot of reader apps. It is rooted but android version does not support a lot of reader versions.
Thank you very much in advance.

try orion viewer - I use it even for books which are scanned as "open book" two pages on one page , use it in landscape mode
I use my S-Note for lecture notes and uni work, but one thing I cannot do is import PDF documents into S-Note because it rewrites the text with mistakes? I assume that this is just poorly configured optical character recognition?
I don't know if there is actually a solution for this, I effectively just want to draw on the PDF and save it. Anyone got a workaround?
Also, I've tried Adobe Reader's annotate function and the lag on the drawing drives me insane. I've attached two pictures, on of the PDF in muPDF and the other of the imported document.
