Cm14.1 video recording works fine, what to do see below (Redmi note 3 pro)

There is no big thing to do with the video recording of cm14.1 .
The solution Is simple and clear. Let just change the camera app . .
1) download Google camera for noughat
2) install it
Download:

This will replace the default cm camera to google camera and that's it
, note :
at first boot it won't work just crash and don't blame me. Just reboot phone twice and say the difference. :good:

Yep, but in miui 8 google camera crashes always , that's why I am not suggesting the direct install

The solution is not that simple, I am using Google camera on Cm14.1, it doesn't always work as expected. A bit better than CM camera? Perhaps!

I think you should change the kernel!

I know agni, I use it frequently. Even the agni dev still mentioned for the latest kernel that the problem is actually from rom side, some camera hw variants may be lucky that's working, some won't. In may cases, are different from rom to rom, but in most roms, cam flashes have the problems. And, I may be a bit lucky that my hw variants is old one, the problems are less than others.

I solved my issue by agni and with Google camera

Yes broken in Chinese miui beta at this but in global it has Been fixed

A new version was posted just today. Since it's in Chinese, I can't understand if there's a DL link or not.

Hey, the speaker output volume is very low! Did anyone managed to get a solution to it?
The ROM is super stable and battery life is great with default Kernel!
Custom kernel can be flashed like any other ROM...

Yes you can, matter of fact you can use gcam on any ROM with little tweaks but try to download simple Oreo gcam apk and install if.it works then good if not then you will need to do little tweaks.

Im using havoc os and also using gcam.
But it is not recording in gcam. Stock camera have some issues regarding recording in dark(color distortion kinda)
I flashed miui camera port,there it works fine
If you have any solutions do let me know.

Used this apk still had the problem on recording video but takes great pictures

Then change rom to msm xtended it gives great performance and battery and gcam also work perfectly without any issue

Working fine for me and I have havoc too. Though video has little low light than picture in artificial light. Try in the morning. It's near perfect.

Hy everyone this camera fix doesn't work anymore its because the Miui android pie build doesn't need any driver override. If you are looking for the camera fix please update to latest MIUI eu rom no matter if its stable or beta camera works in almost all android pie build. I have discontinued this thread and not going post any mod here

Thanks a lot bro, was waiting for this fix. Lemme ask, can't we just edit the XML file and build.prop in stock to that of values you've provided without flashing the zip file? Yet to try. Also, would it work for custom roms like RR etc for A2 Converted Indian variant?

No in that case camera will not work because mi 6x's chines rom does not contain Indian versions camera libs. And in build camera is not optimized for the indian version.
Another request make a similar threat on app section so that users can easily find the mod.

Hi, if you're using stock android one rom then you can add new features to the camera using that XML file. No need to touch that build.prop just place that jasmine_sprout.xml in system/etc/device_features/ if this folder doesn't exist then create it and place the xml file there. If you' have converted to MIUI then you have to flash the zip file and need to edit build.prop. I am not sure about it but it might work for mi 6x custom ROMs which can fix the camera issue for Indian variant of mi A2. Try this zip file in MIUI and let me know if it is working or not. I had thoroughly tested everything before uploading this file. I hope it helps......

Yes its work without turning off the low light enhancement option.

Hi....guys post has updated and the 1st link has removed and new link is available for the full camera fix. Those who are using the camera fix from the older link flash the camera fix V2 for some minor fix and new enabled features.

???Always disable hdr or you can set it to auto for low light enhancement to work properly at night time. HHT night mode works the same as the default one. I think 3D face beauty in front is just a gimmick it does nothing special only big eye and slender works other remodeling and make-up feature doesn't work.

I tried in last miui (converted from mia2)..just black sacreen

v2 fix makes the camera better than the original. Thanks a lot. Great Work

Black screen issue now fixed and you can use other camera app also. Flash the camera fix V1 and follow the guide. I am sure it will help you to fix your camera issue.

I know MIUI camera lags try stock mi a2 camera ports. I haven't tried it in weekly build's but still its just the same as stable build camera freezes sometime while clicking picture outdoor. There are some unsupported camera drivers which exist and those drivers are not in use by miui camera. So if we delete the useless camera drivers it should work normally.

z17S - Steps to install mokee 9 ?

Hi everyone,
the whole last week I tried to install mokee 9.
Here is what I tired:
1. Installed basic files for CN 2.10 Version with nubia emergency tool
2. Installed CN 3.23 with stock recovery and let it boot one time.
3. enable bootloaderunlock und usb debugging.
4. boot to fastboot und flashed TWRP (twrp_3.2.3_nx595j_Z17S_20190427.img from 4PDA.ru)
5. Boot to TWRP and wiped all exept internal, then flash mokee and gapps nano.
6. Tried to boot mokee
while booting I see thje mokee boot scren a couple of minutes and then the phone reboots direct to TWRP.
Whre is my fault?
Does anybody has a hint for me?

As I have read treble Roms have problems with NFC. I need this for google pay.

Do you now how to get stock cam working with pie?
Is there a working gcam mod with nightsight(from Versiuon 6.1 on) thats full working, perhaps also with the 23mpix sensor?

Fu24 Gcam Mod works for me on Havoc (no NFC problems) but I never could make it work with 23mp.
Maybe with Mokee Premium installed first and then flashing PT...?

According to other threads stock cam was included in former premium builds but not in the actual downloadable versions.

At the moment I habve Mokee 7.1.2 and have a standby drain of ~0,7 %/h

PT=Project Treble-
Havoc: No MTP, Kernel doesn´t go to Deep Sleep after charging/needs a reboot (That´s a problem of the Mokee Kernel) Fingerprint after reboot not working, solution is to restart SytemUI.
Battery is Ok for me, 60% after a day of normal usage, but not as this good (But Havoc is another Level compared with Mokee) Did not know the lack of wall chargers in the Oberpfalz

Hello,
got mokee 9 installed, thanks to Tomcar for the hint with formating data.
Now I'm trying to get nubia camera working.
Got it installed via Magisk from the gdrive archive by Spencer_D and could start it.
Only problem is that I can see for around a second the viewfinder picture an then it gets dark.
Tried several 3in1 files but everytime the same.
Selinux was set to permissive.
Any idea?
