hi all,
I have already unlocked the A2017 bootloader by following the steps "[GUIDE][TREBLE] Axon 7 Custom OREO ROM installation for newbies - 2018.08.05". it's ok. but cannot boot it into bootloader from either TWRP or "adb reboot bootloader".
When trying to boot A2017 into bootloader, it always stucks the "AXON7" screen.
Any suggestions?
Flash stock EDL, but rename TWRP to recovery.img and replace it in the EDL folder

Hi there! I recently got my first android phone so wanted to install Lineage os 15.1 but messed it up right away as it's in now in boot loop! Here's what I did:
It was on Android 8.0 angler-opr5.170623.011-factory-0e60ceb6 but I unlocked its boot loader and installed custom recovery and I successfully flashed in the fastboot , vendor, radio and boot loader from Lineage OS 15.1 thread, now instead of following the rest of instructions, I madly decided to reboot the device using fastboot reboot and now I don't see anything except these colored circles which is what boot loop probably is! Please help me find a solution! Thank you!
edited: I have successfully entered into bootloader mode but don't know how to proceed!
I'd flash all the stock firmware in bootloader and start over. Grab the latest firmware package from Google's site, extract it, then run:
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img (name changes with version)
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash radio radio.img (name changes with version)
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
Reboot to system
You'll probably have to flash your custom recovery again in bootloader after the first boot. It usually reverts back to stock.

Part 10 in the thread above^
I recommend you installing an easy official ROM.
With them all you need to do is a clean flash of the ROM
Since I'm still a noob so I need to muster up courage to proceed but I really appreciate your valuable input guys!! Cheers!! :good:

I came back from LOS 16.0. Flashed A2017G_B10_NOUGAT_FULL_EDL in EDL but there's a warning that my bootloader is locked. I wanted to relock it but the warning prevents me from entering bootloader or fastboot (or maybe they are not even present....). Next I flashed A2017U_FASTBOOT_UNLOCK_EDL in MiFlash but it did not do anything. It flashed OK but I still cannot access fastboot. Should I flash some marshmallow rom? Thanks in advance.
I have the same problem. Cannot enter fastboot mode on Nougat ROM.
Ok I found the way usin Axon 7 Toolkit
1. Set the Android version to 7 using option 13
2. Perform unlock bootloader
Following instruction Axon & Tookit gives you EDL image of the proper fastboot partition giving the possibility to enter fastboot mode
then fasboot oem lock
I wanted to say thanks that works, but apparently my phone is bricked now - it hangs on green ZTE logo. PC recognizes it as DFU. Cannot enter EDL either. I guess I look for some guide how to recover from this situation
Managed to fix that. Somehow I was able to enter fastboot. It said my bootloader was locked so i flashed TWRP and from TWRP using ADB installed stock Nougat rom

No there's a TWRP that works on locked bootloader.

Seems that TWRP was inatlled before the bootloder was locked again.
This is my first time trying to root my android.
I have successfully unlocked oem but can't seem to flash twrp.
I have downloaded twrp 3.2.1 on my desktop and renamed it to "recovery".
Entered fastboot on phone, used the command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" but it just says "error: cannot open 'recovery.img' "
Can anyone please tell me how to get twrp installed?
Dear all,
My A2017G is still under warranty and I would like to send it back for battery problem.
I have unlocked my bootloader and I'm using LOS.
So I want to go back to full stock and remove bootloader message or relock bootloader.
I follow these steps:
I flash B03 Oreo full EDL.
I boot into stock recovery to format data and wipe all.
I boot the stock system and activate ADB.
Then I flash official TWRP (3.3.0.0). I tried to flash NFound's TWRP 3.2.1.8 but I never succeed to launch it.
I boot into TWRP.
I format data to remove encryption.
And then I follow the raystef66's guide to remove unlock message and activate fastboot.
However, when I want to launch bootloader "adb reboot bootloader", my phone is bricked, stuck in EDL mode and I have to wait full discharge of the battery to flash again B03 Oreo full EDL ...
What am I doing wrong?
Thank in advance for your help.

Why don't you boot a working system first? Formatting data won't do much, because unless you flash no-dm-verity or Magisk you'll get encryption the moment that you boot to system.
Also, you might be better off by installing stock Nougat instead, because most of the flashables were made for Marshmallow, but sometimes work on Nougat.
Finally I succeeded to relock the bootloader.
I have done this steps:
Flash B10 Nougat full EDL.
Boot into stock recovery, format data and boot normally the system.
Activate ADB and reboot into EDL mode.
Flash NFound's TWRP for Nougat (TWRP_3.2.1-7_axon7-Nougat-MM.img).
Boot into TWRP and format data.
Follow raystef66's guide to remove unlock message and activate fastboot.
At this time, I have access to TWRP and bootloader with fastboot access, but the system doesn't boot.
(Flash only stocksystem Nougat via TWRP), I don't know if it is mandatory.
Still in TWRP, remove dm-verity
At this moment, the stock system boot, I have TWRP recovery and bootloader with fastboot access and no warning screen.
To lock bootloader, boot into bootloader and run "fastboot oem lock"
Start the system, the phone says "erasing ..." but still doesn't boot the system.
Finally flash B10 Nougat full EDL, launch stock recovery and format data.
Now stock system with locked bootloader, ready for RMA
So i flashed twrp succesfully but i cannot boot into it because os flashes stock recovery and btw i unlocked bootloader. I tried power and volume+. Power and volume down and sudo fastboot boot twrp.img but nothing worked. I tried flashing using fastboot flash recovery twrp.img and using xiaomi tolls v2 but it didn't work and i would like to root it but i can't to do it
