That looks like a problem with your tools installation on Windows. Try removing and reinstalling the Android tools.

[Q] Fixing lg gt540

The phone , when it boots up the lg logo appears then it goes straight into fastboot any thoughts?
And a reminder it was on a 2.3.4 rom when it broke
Try erasing all partitions and re-flash recovery and your ROM.
Do the following:
Code:
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase system
Then flash recovery again (using fastboot flash recovery filename.img)
If that doesn't work, re-flash the Fastboot KDZ you used before in Download Mode.

The first option didn't work i will try the second but is their a particular rom i'm supposed to flash and is there a particular recovery as well

Just flash any fastboot KDZ, and any recovery, it doesn't matter
Jack
I did what you asked and this is what happened
13:08:45 : Launching SW update
13:08:45 : Unpacking KDZ
13:08:48 : KDZ file extraced
13:08:48 : Extract file error
13:08:50 : ===FINISHED===
Any thoughts?

Just keep trying different KDZs, also, run KDZ_FW_UPD as administrator (Right Click>Run as Administrator)
Jack
are you sure you have enough space on your hdd for the kdz to be unpacked?
Sent from my GT540
Yea i am sure I have 149gb left of 250gb
Still nothing is working
i don't know what to do
I will provide more of a description,
Basically i dropped the phone in water and then i waited for it to dry up it worked
and then when i turned it off and on again what i described to you in the first thread happened
So is it possible to fix given what I have just posted?

D802 - Stucks on LG Logo -No Recover, No fastboot and No Downlaod Mode

Hey guys,
I have a LGD802 32GB it stucks on LG Logo and a green/blue LED is blinking. I can't get into Recovery or Download Mode, nor fastboot is working. Only thing what I can do is to push all buttons and get into the IMEI menue. Don't think this can help me anyway.
A few times ago the LGD802 only shows fastboot mode and so i followed the steps discribed in many threads.
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase laf
fastboot erase boot
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash laf laf.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
after that it only stucks on LG Logo.
I also tried the flashTool 2014 method, but phone will ne be correctly recognized by the OS. False Driver?
The Flashtool stops at 4%
Anyone can help me?
@DarkD1988 If the phone only showed fastboot mode then it might also have been the kernel that caused that,
does it says something on 4%?
Try to find the drivers or manually install them with device manager and see if it might works then.
Did you flashed the Lollipop rom?
Hi,
The Flashtool only starts if i use the diag driver (manually chosen).
With the automatically Installed Driver (USB Device Driver) the S/W Upgrade wont start 0%.
Yes Lollipop was flashed but after that the device became a hardreset.
At the Moment I cant get to the fastboot.
Do you know which driver is the correct one?

Help! Moto E3 XT1700 stuck in bootloop after OEM unlock in fastboot..

So after booting into fastboot and using the general bootloader unlock method using the commands "fastboot oem unlock" my phone is just looping and looping. I've tried to find factory firmware images from Motorola but there is literally nothing for the E3 2016 (yet). This is a bloody nightmare as I bought the phone today and now it's unusable. I've tried flashing the TWRP version for this phone, but that also doesn't boot!
What do I do? Please help...
Use command fastboot format userdata ...
Already tried that, just wiped the whole partition clean. Unrecoverable. Just got a replacement handset. This phone is not developed upon enough yet.
help having same problem
thx solved myself with spflashtool
Follow the steps below exactly in this order:
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot flashing unlock
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot format userdata
* it is possible that you will have to change the file name to twrp.img
If that does not help - you have to upload stock firmware [ eg. Lenovo_XT1706_MT6735M_S135_161108 ] using SP Flash Tool.

Please don`t use the newest firmware! It`s not logical, but true
Use stock lastest firmware with unlocked bootloader:
XT1700 → S124
XT1706 → S135
...and now try fastboot oem unlock, flashing unlock, flash twrp & format userdata.
Regards.

Locking bootloader fastboot issue Axon 7 A2017G

Hi. I need to send my phone for servicing due to battery issue. I tried to lock bootloader however I am having problems with Fastboot. I installed factory image for Marshmallow A2017GV1.0.0B11(SD rm_userdata)N rollback M that can be found here. I've used minimal_adb_fastboot_1.4.1_portable on windows 10. CMD running as administrator. The only Fastboot related command that return something is
Code:
fastboot devices
Commands like
Code:
fastboot flashing get_unlock_ability
fastboot flashing lock
gives me error "FAILED (remote: unknown command)"
Not sure what am I doing wrong. Is it wrong version of Fastboot that I use? The thing is I also tried that on Linux with Fastboot package and the same error occurred. I also tried different stock roms like B03 and B05 and the result was the same. I even installed ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B04_Full_Stock_Reverter_by_tron1.zip but still no change. Not sure what am I doing wrong. Please help. Thanks

Request: Stock V35ULM10i laf.img

My V35ULM was soft-bricked after using LGUP to flash the Pie kdz (likely because the LGUP exe was not patched correctly). The download mode is corrupted and the phone always enters into fastboot mode. I'm trying to fastboot an external download-mode image by:
fastboot boot laf.img
However, the laf.img extracted from the Pie kdz cannot pass the boot security check. Can anyone who has this phone (LMV350ULM) with Oreo 10i ROM help dump a stock laf.img with LGUP? Many thanks!
I was able to get a stock laf.img using Elliott Mitchell's kdztools python scripts. However, fastmode boot laf.img still won't boot. Maybe only the image backed up from the original phone can work?
II guess you were using the partition dl mode to update your phone and do not chose them all?
any way
try this
plug in your USB, vol- + power or fastboot reboot to reboot your phone ,then immediately press the VOL+ before the v35 thingQ shows
by the way, even if use 9008\oct-p to unlock the v35.
not like the g7,boot xxx.img is still useless,
flash xxx_a XXXX.img can works
like flash boot_a patched_boot.img(magisk)
