Greetings.
A friend gave me a Huawei Nova Smart TIM branded, model dig-l01, that's stuck on bootscreen, when it's switched on it just shows the TIM logo and "powered by android" down the screen.
I tried to boot on recovery with volume up + power but it doesn't work, same thing with volume down + power and volume up + down + power.
I can only set it to "FASTBOOT&RESCUE MODE" with the green words "PHONE Locked" down the green robot/android when I connect it with the usb cable to the pc and holding down the volume down button.
I tried some fastboot commands to reflash part of the firwmare but it always answers me with "FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)".
Now I am the one that's really stuck, since I don't know how to unstuck this darn phone!
Can anyone help me, please?
BTW I'm italian so if there's any other italian we can talk/chat in private.
Thanks.
Even though it has Nova in the name, it has no connection to the Huawei Nova. Our devices have CAN/CAZ, that device is DIG. It is actually and Honor 6C. We can't really help you. You might check this thread and others related to Honor 6C:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/help/honor-6c-bricked-t3676614
Oh well, ok, thank you very much anyway

Hi,
one day, I changed the permission of /system/font by accident:
e.g. I changed:
.............read....write.....execute
user.........V........V...........V
group.......V.....................V
others......V.....................V
to
............read.......write......execute
user........V..........V..............
group.......V.........................
others......V.........................
After that, I can't turn on my phone anymore T.T
When I press the power button, the LG logo appears, and then vibrate, logo disappear, after a few seconds the logo comes back and that's it!
It just stays there (I waited for 2 hours and it didn't change,so I turned it off)
Please help~
How can i fix it...

Enter download mode, and flash your firmware like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2409308 or just open LG Mobile Support Tool and select "Recover Phone". It does the same thing but it's easier.
Nothing's lost, you'll get it fixed.

hi, thanks a lot.
but what is "version"? There are version 10C/10E/20A in http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?mod=Lg+Optimus+L7&paese=RGS/ROGERS&id_mod=13 ...
How can I know which one is the right one?

My guess is 20A is ICS, 10C is the first release of Gingerbread, and 10E whatever update they did to it. If you're not sure, go with the LG Mob Supp Tool, it's safer and easier.

Did it work before with the exact firmware update you had? Remove the battery of your phone and re-insert it (don’t turn it on). Press and hold Volume Up button and Volume Down button. While you are pressing the two buttons, press the Power button or insert USB cable (try both if it doesn't work). Or try with: phone off, volume down + insert cable. I don't know the exact combination for your phone.

try vol down+power
when keys light up, touch menu key (vibrates)
Even if you can't go to download mode you'll still be able to use kdz on it. just plug it in and start it. And btw, be careful next time. My Optimus L7 got hard bricked and I needed to go to LG for them to fix it.

Well when you install/flash wrong kernel things can get very ugly, or it can refuse to flash in your case it seems like a hard bricked. Did you tried guides for unbricking from this and K10’s forum? Can you access fastboot?

So the LG logo appears?
We'll try this :
Press the power key until it gives you vibrate or any sign that phone is going to power on, the press and hold volume down it should give you all black screen with text on bottom saying fastboot mode. If it doesn't try all this but with volume up instead of volume down. I'm not even sure how to enter fastboot since I usually do it from ADB.

Well if it's not recognized in any way when turning on then it's hard brick sorry
Is there no program to launch it fastboot directly?
Mine was bricked.
My solution was to enter in download mode, because other modes just rebooted the phone.
So follow this, and luck:
1-you need a PC turned on and the USB cable plugged already
2-quit the battery of the phone
3-now the phone is obviously off, you have to put the battery in WHILE holding volumen up button and then plug the USB still holding that button
It will enter download mode.
If step 3 doesn't work, try the same but with power button held too, with volume up.
Follow this then:

Hello everyone. Huawei P9 Lite 2016. It doesn't go into Recovery, nor eRecovery and Fastboot also does not load, in general, not one combination of buttons does not work. I think the system is removed, what should I do? How do I achieve something myself?
Well, if your phone is unable to go into fastboot (hold volume- and plug it into a computer), I have some very bad news for you... What did you do??

Nothing at all.. It had very strong lags, I couldn't make anything, I restarted it delaying the power button for 10 seconds and so several times, and then made through the buttons hard reset, performed successfully, already turned on but still had so strong lags and now it isn't react at all, just a black screen and the red indicator is constantly on. I think that simply the system has been deleted and it is necessary to write down again, but how, the combination of buttons doesn't work at all

Yes, but the sense of that? It's necessary to work with buttons and not one combination of buttons doesn't work. Hisuite asks me to click on the power button and on the volume down button but nothing happens it doesn't go in Fastboot mode or in Recovery nor in eRecovery.

Yes. It makes nothing. Black screen and red indicator always.
Do you still have warranty on it? If you did not even unlock bootloader, then try to send it in for a warranty repair. Something on the motherboard must have gone bad..
Hello there!
I've tried to go from android 9.0 beta build to the released LG one for my country (H87030a_00_PLS_PL_OP_0905). The installation went ok. But the phone was stuck on logo. So I did factory reset by holding vol- + power button. Now the phone is stuck on boot logo, and it doesn't turn off.
After that I've tried going with this instruction: (https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/how-to/lg-g6-unbrick-method-t3935924). But on clicking download button step in QFIL, there goes "Download Fail Switch to EDL FailFailed to Switch to Emergency Download Mode"
Sooooo I would try to install again the original kdz file by LGUP again but the phone is stuck on LG G6 ThinQ logo :|
Would anyone help me out with this?

Worked, I am in download mode, but when I try to go through link instruction to install working KDZ, after clicking "start" the error window pops up:
"Error: 0x81000302, Please use latest DLL
LAF Protocol version is not match DLL=116608592
Device = 124133408"
EDIT: Tried with not "partition dl" option but with the upgreade one. Everything went fine but! Now I am back at the solution of the problem. Back at LG G6 ThinQ powered by android logo :/
EDIT2: Menaged to make it work. It turns out that despite that I bought my phone in local store in Poland, it doesn't mean I get phone specificlly sold for this region market. I got it for POC region. It makes difference :| Thanks anyway guys
Have you already solved your problem? I have exactly the same as yours, stands on the LG logo and you can not turn off the phone or enter the download mode
