just one customization for each model at the moment
Split screen support just made this tablet even better if that was even possible.
Anyone got the FTF? I am having a little trouble building it.
Nevermind, I had to use flashtool-0.9.18.6-windows to build the FTF (which then failed to flash)
So I upgraded back to flashtool-0.9.23.1-windows and it has flashed
Android 7.0
December security update.

you should use anyhow the latest version because before 0.9.23.x it didn't support nougat resulting in failed flashes, didn't brick or anything the device but the flash failed.

Thats cool, I was just getting java errors using the builder with the latest version!
Major drawback with 7.0 and the keyboard
There is no option to select different language from the keyboard like it was with CTRL - Spacebar before. In the settings also for the physical keyboard you can only select 1 language.
What the hell happened here....
And I now see that the update has been pulled !!!

Oh well thats no good. Im using the firmware currently. Its ok but when you compare marshmallow with root to it you only really get multi apps and new settings. With root you can use android n ify. Still a good update but having unlocked bootloader is pointless at the moment.

Yeah, SGP771 is the LTE model of course. There was a problem with third party audio and some encryption with SDcard.
Anybody please with 32.3.A.0.372 SGP771 link? is not in the list anymore.
Thanks

Hello there,
Since a lot of users are using Huawei firmware finder app on desktop or phone and it's relatively slow I guess this link should be posted for quick search instead.
This is a Russian site, but you can translate it or not since it's really easy to navigate and it finds all results pretty fast.
You can even search Model number + carrier at the same time( for example FRD-L09C10) and it will filter only those results with changelog and download link. It's always up-to-date and faster than desktop or mobile app of Huawei firmware finder.
Link: http://hwmt.ru/hwmtsite/база-найденных-прошивок/
PS: I'm not the owner of this site.
You can also use this address format if you don't speak Russian:
http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php?find_model=FRD-L04C567
Replace FRD-L04C567 with the model you're looking for.
Though your link is in a prettier format.

Thank you ... work 100% ... Finally I updated to Android 7 (B360)
Hello, I've manually upgraded my Huawei Nova to nougat, Emui 5.0 CAN-L11C432B340.
Thing is that themes wont work, I apply a theme but nothing happens... A friend of mine with the same phone got ota updated yesterday and on his phone it works. We have the same update version but I can't get it to work, anyone know a workaroud or something?
Also will I still get future OTA updates? If I enter fastboot it says "phone locked" so I assume that is bootloader status.
Welcome to the club with that damned theme manager not working...theres a real big lack of informations about that...no one knows WHY its not working...(except that its a beta firmware release key)
for me,theme manager stopped working at first firmware upgrade MLA-Lo3C654B300...Im now with the second firmware upgrade with B334 and its the same thing....ive sent emails, bug reports to Huawei and they wont even bother to reply so...
I found this one which is an official OTA beta, therefore the future OTA update problem might get solved with this. Try out is you can and do tell me if it helps. https://www.obeygeek.com/update-huawei-nova-to-android-7-0-nougat-manually/
That's CAN-L11C432B320 and I am on B340... Can I update over the newer version?

CAN-L01C432B320/CAN-L11C432B320 is an older version of the Nougat update for the Nova variant CAN-L01C432 and the CAN-L11C432 and there has been a B330 release as well. The current build is CAN-L01C432B340/CAN-L11C432B340 and has the most recent security patches from google and some other updates as well.
For those who have the Theme problem on the B340 Build I have attached some images to show you I am on the same version and the Theme Manager is working.

Yeah they don't have the best service in getting in touch or replying to customers. Hopefull most problems will be fixed when the Nougat update "Officially" comes out.
You dont make hard reset when upgrade for nougat! Or you have root acess and bootloader unlock and put data files in memory space.
When we make hard reset all data will lost and our problem is because we can t put data because we cant have root acess. When we get root acess we can install themes and correct the current version.
We just have to wait because huawei will release soon Nougat. And after we just need flash the version.
Im on b350 and i ve the same problem. any solutions out there? i didnt found any usefull things in google.
Im MLA L03 and my themes app works fine...
That's a known problem for those who updated manually. With official ota everything is working fine
i updated to b340 manually, to b350 i got OTA update. thats why it doesnt work? on b340 it worked fine... so there arent any solutions?
I got B330. The full update doesn't have themes contained inside, but the is a second zip file which seems to be the region specific stuff. This file contains media / themes / etc.
Hey guys I recently sideloaded the latest oreo beta version on my s8 and now I am wondering if when the oficial oreo 8.0 comes out I will be able to get it OTA or will I have to use Odin to go back to BQL1 and then do the OTA update? I am obviously not part of the samsung beta program.

Theoretically, we are strongly advised to wipe out everything and start from scratch. However, I would rather do it once Oreo is out.
I couldn't help noticing an error occurred during the installation process, some SYSTEM folder or partition that couldn't be mounted due to ACCESS DENIED. Perhaps this is something related with having the device encrypted?

Yes I remember I saw the error as well, but everything seems working fine so far. I have T mobile and I know that the release of Oreo is going to take a while because they are not even in the testing phase yet.
Do you think we're going to need to flash back to BQL1 and then Oreo? Btw which Baseband version you have installed? I got ZRA6

I have ZRA5, which comes from the leaked build shared a couple of days ago. It has January 2018 security patch and build date is 01/09/2018 22:49:09.
Are you sure you have ZRA6? Perhaps you have different build from a different source. If that is so, where did you get it?

Yes I am positive I have ZRA6 I got it from: https://samsung.firmware.science
I came across this website looking for ways to update to Oreo. I understand that all the firmware versions he has in the website are officially released by Samsung (including the Betas), the only downside is that he does not specify which software is which, you have to know the baseband versions you are installing.

My phone received the December 17-4 patch OTA notice. I am rooted so it will not install. In LMSA, in the upgrade mode is says OPSS28.5-17-2 is up to date. The rescue mode shows the right version but will not rescue. I tried to download the 17-4 patch in LMSA it is not showing either. I id get the October patch OTA update. I'd like to stay with non-TWRP versions. Questions -
1. Do I need to log in for LMSA to work?
2. If not what's the solution?
