I installed august patch for Mi A1 today morning. After few hours of normal using (facebook, games etc.) the phone just shut down and now i cant turn it on.
The only thing i noticed is the LED is blinking while charging.
The phone have about 5 months and its like brand new.
Anyone have the same problem? I dont know what to do :/

Try to press power button for long time ( even 2 minutes ) . Before that connect your phone with PC and tell me what detected device manager .

Hi All, Hope you can help
Every morning for the past 4 days when i have come to use my hero it seems to have crashed & will not power on, pressing the on button does nothing and the screen does not light up. The only way i can get around this is to pull the battery out and put back in, then it will power up.
Any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix?

You got some app that may cause this? You've rootet your phone?

I've been using my Optimus 7 for barely a week now and I ran into this very annoying issue I've just discovered yesterday.
Every time i turn off the screen, it would turn itself back on(showing the lock screen), few seconds later the screen goes off, and then on again. It doesn't happen to me when I am using the phone, so it can't be the power button's fault. Restarting the phone does not help either.
My phone is unlocked with Chevron 7.
Anyone have any solutions?

Having the same problem after 3 years of none. I have not downloaded anything in that 3 years as well as this is just used as a phone ( data is too expensive in rural Canada ). This only happens when the phone is not being used, when charging no problems, only when on battery does it do this, I guess no answer is coming if the original author had no answers for opver 4 years but any suggestions would be great.

Hello, I have this amazing phone 2 days. This night I noticed that I set the night hours and on the edge of not updating, there simply stays the same time, etc ... Yesterday It came to OnEdge updates so if it has to do with anything. Does anyone have the same problem?

yes, my edge plus have the same problem, night clock always different than the real time by 3 to 4 minutes, even after i reboot the phone, however it did worked once after i wiped dalvik cache, but after few hours its back to delay again.
P.S: i Know My English isnt that good :/

i fix it when i reflash via odin a stock SAMMOBILE rom .
now it's always the good time on my screen !

Today comes OnEdge update to 15.1.0 but night clock still not working properly for me. Does anyone have a another solution other than reflash the ROM?

Had this issue on the first one (which I sent back after 2wks in Oct). But now it's started happening on the replacement handset. Everything was fine until I upgraded to Marshmallow 3 days ago...

The clock freezes on status bar like 7:30 but when you go to lockscreen is 7:45

Same here. But not only in minutes. Every day when I wake up about 6AM the edgeclock shows me somewhere between 2 and 3 AM...
I think, but not sure about it, it freezes when the battery becomes 100%???

Mine is doing the same. I've tried factory resetting twice and even reflashing with smart switch on my mac. Nothing is working. Is this a hardware issue maybe?
I am also having this problem, but it is intermittent. I noticed it about a month ago when traveling, and chalked it up to a poor outlet in the hotel. Just noticed it again last night using my wireless charging pad. Which I have a different problem with - it rarely turns green even though my phone shows 100% charged.

Since two weeks I have a problem with power button. If i don't use phone a few minutes and I want turn on screen, my phone reacts very slow or doesn't react. One thing is interesting. When I turn off screen to few seconds and turn it on again, phone react immediately. Problem is if I don't use phone "long" time (from two, three minutes). After reboot phone hasn't problem a few hours but later problem comes back. Maybe it's ROM fault? I must do reboot once or twice a day to phone works properly. I'm worry that one day my screen won't run. I have Android 6.0.1 B560 rooted with twrp 3.0.2.0. I haven't xposed.

Hmmm... Try getting back to a stock rom like B586 or B588 (latest). To get back to stock you have to install stock recovery again. It is probably firmware related so a stock rom installation might just fix this. Hope this help

I have the same problem as you, it started to happens since 2-3 weeks, sometimes the touchscreen doesn't even work in lock-screen after waking up the device, and I have to do a a hard reboot to use the phone properly. This issue happens after 1-2 days without a reboot.
@fiorezy today i will do unroot and i will try to install B586 or B588.

I will wait for your feedback, also I should mention that the issue occurred before I rooted my phone, in addition the UI occasionally freeze for about 5 seconds, and I have no idea what is causing this problem.

Unfortanely new rom doesn't fix problem

Updade: Yesterday and today I mustn't reboot phone. Actually phone hasn't problem with react. @fiorezy let's try to install new rom. I have B584.

For me it looks like problem with waking up from deep sleep. The deep sleep engages some time after screen off. It may be ROM problem or an app or rooted system setting/mod. For example, if idle CPU frequency is too low.
I got my Mi A1 from Flipkart last month.I am facing a problem . I got a whatsapp message when i was using the phone then the screen blacked out and it turned into black white (on-off on- off alternatively and automatically and it wont stop) , black white alternatively.It will aslo wont unlock.. Even if i tried restarting , the same happened again after the phone boots ..it just unlocks for a few seconds as soon as it boots...and again goes into that black white (on-off) mode..
it had already happened once before...within that few seconds i uninstalled whatsapp and it worked again normally...It has happened for a 2nd time...first one was before September update and now again...
plz help..whats d problem..I think it is happening with whatsapp notification and uninstalling whatsapp has worked both the time..
Have you tried to reset the device? If you can rollback the OS you could wait for a new update that fixes the issue.

There's a bug. Turn off ambient display under display. If it happens again then hold the power button to reboot your device.
