Has anyone experience this problem ?
I've tried a few custom ROM (e.g. Feiyu V1, V2 or VDT V5 ROM.) on my F320L
I can manual set "LTE only" which can use the LTE network.
But if I set it to "auto" the network stay on 3G network only.
Is there anything I need to do to make it automatic change to LTE network?

I use CWM 6.0.4.4 which came with Feiyu V3 (another custom ROM like vdt)... it a simple batch file which replaced my boot.img, aboot.img and CWM 6.0.4.4.
It's all Chinese tho..
Seems the phone is not running LTE as preferred network..
My work-around now is using a LTE switch app which need to choose "LTE only" then select "auto".
It'll stay LTE unless your network coverage out or making in/out calls..

Check your baseband, I notice if your using M8974A-AAAANAZM-1.0.190050 on F320L. It's would not use LTE as preferred network.
This baseband were include on Stock F320L11c,
I've reload back to stock to F320L10M which downgraded my baseband on 1.0.190047.
Seems the preferred LTE is working again.

The problem is that each CSC and firmware version has a different list of 4G activated providers that are not directly related to the region they are in.
Which means that a device can have 4G activated for 50 providers, just not the one your SIM belongs to. As such, if you insert the SIM, the 4G toggle is disabled.
Each provider has to individually pass on the fact that they have 4G to Samsung. Even then it's not activated for each CSC.
For instance, DBT (Germany) may have 4G enabled for all of Germany, as well as T-Mobile NL, Orange FR and a handful of UK networks. At the same time and on the same firmware version, 4G in the PHN rom (Netherlands) may not support any 4G network in Germany.
I've even had it happen where my Note 3 runs on DBT, and I had 4G on T-Mobile NL... Whilst none of the TNL (Branded) firmware had 4G enabled for their own network yet. (They didn't find it nearly as funny as I did when I brought that up at HQ...)
You either need to find a firmware which supports 4G for your provider, swap providers or you need to root.
If you're rooted: use a root-enabled file manager > open /data/property/persist.radio.lteon file in an editor > set it to true > save, exit and reboot.

i just serached and.. i not foound it.
i do root with: CF-AutoRoot... and CF-AutoRoot woks fine in P905M

If you are rooted, download and install Xposed framework. Then download and install Intelli3g (from the Xposed downloads or Play Store). Activate the module and reboot. Then enter the app and activate fast mode toggle. Then select in the fast mode menu "LTE only". That's it.

i have find a solution , but in network selection there is still no 4g, but with advanced signal status app i forsed it to 4G and worked.

I have got an officially unlocked T-mobile Galaxy Note 4 device connected to Reliance Jio 4g network in India. This device supports Band 3, 5 of the Reliance 4g LTE services (Band 3, 5 and 40). Just to let you know, I can manually chose either of the bands (3 or 5) using *#2263#. I can't use *#*#4363#*#* on my phone.
I can use data LTE services on my mobile without any problem.
Under the Call Settings, I have the option to enable "Voice over LTE". (done that) however, I can't get VoLTE calls to work on my phone through native dailer as VoLTE icon doesn't appear on my phone.
I can make calls only if I use Jio4gVoice app but the call quality is poor with the app.
If I use my Jio sim in my Moto G4 plus device, VoLTE icon appears on the phone and I can make calls without any issues.
Before coming here, I have talked to
1. Samsung India - they directed me to Samsung USA or T-mobile
2. Samsung + through the Video chat with Samsung plus representative in the US. They directed me to T-mobile.
3. T-mobile - said device belongs to me and can be used anywhere in the world without any problems. Asked me to talk to Reliance JIO.
4 JIO - they say the phone should support VoLTE and LTE services. They have been taking my requests to resolve the issue and closing them every other day but without any joy. I have told them that under About Device > Status IMS registration status shows Not registered.
So what needs to be done in this scenario? Do I need to replace Tmobile CSC (TMB) with an Indian CSC? Is that even possible? Seek your help and hopefully it can help others. Thanks in advance!

I just followed the following menu:
Settings > Call > Call Settings > Voice over LTE Preferred (turned it on)
I have been seeing this option on my device ever since 5.1.1. Have you updated your device to latest 6.0.1?
Have you been able to get any satisfactory answers about VoLTE on Jio?

Did you create an IMS APN for Jio? Assuming you're already getting 4G data, head to Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names. Click + on the top to add APN and enter the exact following stuff (case sensitive):
Name - ims
APN - ims
APN Type - ims
Save and exit. In all probability, you'll not see the new APN in the list of APNs, but VoLTE symbol should come up. Hope it does, otherwise tough luck.

I have tried to create APN as you have mentioned it but can't get to save the new APN.
I have noticed one more thing in STATUS i.e., IMS not registered - is that the culprit?
When I put the same JIO sim in another phone (Note 4- N910G - Indian version) it shows IMS registered and both LTE data and VoLTE work flawlessly.
Wondering if IMEI and the t-mobile are the culprits?

It could also be the CSC. You may have to root the device, and flash INS or INU CSC (I'm using INS on the 910G) ace see if that fixes anything...

Can I flash INU/INS CSC onto my Tmobile device? Does that work like that?
Installed Phone info app and it doesn't show any CSCs for my device.

Can you check in the T-Mobile forum? I'm not sure about the differences between a branded and an unlocked device firmware-wise, don't want you risk a reflash.
i have an at&t galaxy note edge smn915a and even with jio4gvoice installed, i cannot make calls as it says that its unregistered, but this same sim works well in one plus one with jio4gvoice installed, can someone please help with how to get myself work around this to get my phone to be registered to jio?? any help will be really appreciated.

Thanks a lot for the help , found and answer for long wait.. trying it now....
Resurecction Remix 7.1.1 Official Rom booted properly in my phone...and even the rom is property working but the problem is sim card is not detected. I also faced network issues with all previous rom including cm13. And it would be gr8ful if could solve this. Coz i m excited to use the rom. I saw all the features. Ssly its a gr8 work done by you guys. So could you plz help me with this issue.

To solve calls option disabled please don't use jio sim at the time of installing the ROM.
If used remove the sum and insert it in the second slot. Problem solved for me in my zuk z1.

And when i called myself from other number the ring was going on other phone. But it showed nothing in my phone. And sometimes the message randomly comes that you had a miss call. I guess there is some serious issue regarding network. Hope anyone can solve this bug ASAP. Ty

The same problem for me also. Please remove jio sim at the time of installation. Or try to install without sim cards and configure through wi-fi. I've tired by repeating the same reply. Please see the attached screen shot for proof.
Sorry bro i didn't checked. Yes u are ri8 hdr mode not working it hangs up when we click photo in hdr mode. and actually i hav no issue for that as i don't use hdr mode.

I'm using Zuk z1 worst mobile for around 6 months yet I doesn't got single update.
Today I called customer service for volte update support.
He told me Zuk z1 never get any update as CyanogenMod shutdown.
So guy here is my doubt I'm using many custom ROMs but no ROM provide volte support.
If the issue is with software than why don't the custom ROM developers can't implement it.
My mobile is sucking me after continuous Jio usage.
I have another mobile Lenovo k4 note when I see signal status it is -83
Where as at place Zuk z1 shows -120
Signal strength sucks

Yes. I've inserted Jio sim in the second slot at the time of installation. Both sum cards are working properly. Able to call in both of the sims. Internet also available in the second sum-jio-

I installed RR on my phone about a month ago
Since then it was working perfectly fine ,
But today when I tried to interchange my sims the disaster happened
Now my phone is not booting
1st after pressing power button it shows zuk logo and then boots in twrp recovery
And I tried wiping and installing the ROM again but still the problem is there ....

I have installed RR in my Lenovo zuk z1,the problem is I could make calls from one sim and receive calls for that sim alone I couldn't use the other sim to make and receive calls...I have interchanged the sim slots also...the same problem occurs...but the other sim shows network coverage....pls.do help me...

are both features VoLTE and VoWIFI working for you?
I enabled them in Logkit app. Then configured my IMS APN profile and enabled both features in settings.
When in flightmodus with Wifi enabled, calling is impossible.
When connected to 4G and calling, the connection drops to 3G.
No VoWIFI or VoLTE icon shown.
I'm living in Luxembourg with Post provider.

You sure that this is still needed?
Afaik one of the latest Stock OS rom's had Volte default enabled? (maybe i'm wrong.... don't remember exactly)

if the volte and vowifi don't work by defaut on your oneplus, you have to use PDC
it's very simple and quick

i tried everything , different drivers even diff pcs nothing recognized the phone. am tryna avoid wiping my phone to revert back at all cost. for now il live with no volte

Working fine here.
Used "com.oem.oemlogkit_1.0-1.apk" and then dial *#800*. Choose "Function Switch" and then mark "VoLTE switch" and "VoWifi switch". Reboot and it's done.
Guys, is the same method working for oos11? Anyone tried?
I tried to activate volte on 8T in Bulgaria A1 (former Mtel).. i can't get it working.
Changed a lot of profiles via PDC, changed a lot of carrier policy files via FFS Explore... no go!
The phone is with latest 11 OOS, unlocked.
My SIM has Volte, the carrier supports it, i get it working by default on other phones when i insert my sim. But this 8T is driving me crazy..
