Hi guys, ok I found many guide to install Gcam on Mi A1 without rooting. However, I have not seen any guide to install Gcam for rooted device (using Magisk) how can you install Gcam on a rooted Mi A1? I am assuming it is a lot easier than the non-root guide?
Lastly, what is the best Gcam app you have used in Mi A1?

Hi guys, just an update, I was able to install a GCam mod by just downloading the APK and running it (plus installing the Mi A1 Gcam Mod Magisk module). I was quite surprised how easy it is.

I am using backrider gcam's testv1.2 on my stock pie.
I tried many gcam(latest v6.2.024) and one of them clicked picture when i turn off the hdr, only the backrider gcam worked in hdr off mode. You can try his latest gcam, i haven't tried the latest yet but sure will

This gcam works very fine on some A11 roms also on stock rom. But in A10 it installs but stucks on processing. Anyone facing same problem. Any solutions please?

I'm currently on CrDroid 8.7 and it has OOS cam, but I can't use the UW and main lens in 48MP. Obvs GCam mod won't have this at all, so that's not a option. Is there a way to enable this with root or magisk module? Any help is appreciated!
One of the devs of motioncam pro told me that the aux cams (uw and zoom) do not work at all in other apps than stock oos cam on a12, only on a11 even on stock oos. It's somehow an android thing. That's why I decided to go for a11 and crdroid 7.18 on my OP8P which I just got.
I know this is not exactly your issue but maybe it's somehow related and the oos cam on crdroid doesn't have the same privileges as the oos cam on stock oos. On my a11 crdroid even other apps like gcam can access the main and uw in 48 mp.
Btw, thanks so much for you viper4android guide, it helped me to get it working. Only problem, it just works in legacy mode. I put a question in that thread.
