I suggest you making a more detailed post with instructions, screenshots, feature list and such, even if you are NOT a developer. Else it should be in Xperia X News, Guides and Discussions, but not in there, iirc.
i wanna flash this rom after 30 min later , I'll announce in My XPERIA X DUAL ( 2 sim ) it working or not
i flashed this rom in XPERIA X DUAL ( F5122 ) but ( 1 sim ) working and all features working good. ( screenshot in post )

How is the quality of the photos produced, though? I read that 4.9 is supposed to improve the quality. Up until now, if you use anything other than the stock ROM you'd get crappy photos out of the camera.

For dual SIM I believe if you just change the build.prop to F5122 it should work.
using F5122 and everything was working fine, but I was in the Settings and when I clicked Turn Off on screen nav bar, got an error message System UI has stopped working and the screen went black, after forced reboot there was still black screen and it auto rebooted in to TWRP, but after that everytime when phone is booting up it will crash while booting and show System verification cannot be completed your device will shutdown in 5 seconds.

The option shouldn't be there but seems to be there on the builds for Xperia devices. You'll need to clean flash to fix the issue. Sorry for that.

Just flashed Taiwan rom v10 then flashed ur rom xperia.
Works nice based on China rom .... Jst a small request The Dialer App is a bit out on resolution it looks kinda clincky you know

Well i think the is overall nice but i am facing a bit issue after flashing cud be a small bug or maybe a problem with my sim/ phone...since the day i flashed this i am not recieving sms messages...when i send myself a text i start recieving messages for sometime but it stops after a cpl of hrs...calling/ 3g has absolutely no issues...wonder whatsup...i will be flashing back stock today to check if issue gets fixed...
Okay I tried flashing stock ended with Chinese version though sms was confirmed working there I flashed back to this rom and noticed the sms flashes for a sec and disappears from inbox wonder whats happening there...If someone has a nandroid backup of 32gb version kindly send me the link..i already tried the one floating on the other thread here the archive seems to be corrupted. Any help appreciated...

This rom is really nice. It could have its own customization menu, add they are under Display menu, but still is fine. I have some problems with gapps, so I am trying the 64bit version.
And RRO/Layers Builds from Aldy ... ? SimpleAOSP ftw !!!
Just a warning people, franco kernel and Fire Ice kernel causes system UI crash, so don't bother with those. Their g+ page says elementalx kernel is compatible, maybe I'll try that later.
Edit: Fire Ice K6 test6+ works

I used K5. First I flashed franco and got system ui crashes. I went to recovery and flashed k5 and got the same thing. I reflashed the rom and the ui crashes went away. I figured it was the kernels doing that because people were reporting similar behaviors with other kernels on g+

dont use it then not here to do timepass based on his work just added things and removed and some modded things so
and flash hito build and use that dont report stuff if you dont know what you are doing
flash both builds see the smoothness see the backup see the other improvements and then point on anyone if you are blaming someone then see yourself first buddy
based on his builds latest hito changes will be there and why would i change his things tell me that ?

Hey brother don't do away with the global version as it was done before(Hito moved to global version for a while). Many of the users like the global version than the chinese version( including me ). So as a request that you should release a global version alongside the chinese version in the subsequent updates. Thanks!
Installed the rom as per OP's requirement installed google apps via google installer v2 but i am getting fc and crashes. Tried clearing cache and data but still the same issue also Package Installer crashes.. I am stuck please help?

Sure but there is not any original tread of it.
My review of this rom
1. Boots pretty fast
2. UI is smooth and fluid
3. VOLTE works out of the box. It doesn't show VOLTE icon but it works
3 There is no fingerprint support. Doesn't even show fingerprint in settings (i have FPC)
4. Camera works for pics but video recording doesn't work. Shows error camera not found when you try to record. I didn't try 3rd party apps.
5. No sound in calls
6. Most stuffs are in chinese. left panel on homescreen is entirely in chinese
7 No gesture support
I tried flashing agni kernal but found same issues.
Volte not work in my case.
At first boot it works but after reboot it doesn't work.

Better thing is wait till end of july as Mi Max is getting global miui10 by end of july so we can get global port which might have no or less bugs and can be use as daily driver.

4.New version updated v2 with video recording fix in stock camera.
There is a android 9 based rom for TA-1003 (aka nokia 6) on YouTube uploaded by a small developer team called "The Gadget Guy" . Anyone interested can check that on YouTube. I didn't did check that rom my self. I'm willing to try it but this device is my daily driver so it a bit hard to install the rom at right moment. As a community we are so eager to have more custom roms and developers and the development of that rom is somewhat promising.
PS-
there are only four difference than stock 9.
1. Boot animation
2. Navigation buttons
3. Theme colors can be changed
4. Launcher
I tried on my Nokia 5. And it booted!
I think that rom is a heavily customised Chinese stock rom(I guess) . However worth to try as we have only a lineage 15.1 rom.
I will check that rom on my device and let you guys know zoon.

There is a android 9 based rom for TA-1003 (aka nokia 6) on YouTube uploaded by a small developer team called "The Gadget Guy" . Anyone interested can check that on YouTube. I didn't check that rom my self. I'm willing to try it but this device is my daily driver so it a bit hard to install the rom at right moment. As a community we are so eager to have more custom roms and developers and the development of that rom is somewhat promising.

I am currently using this rom on my nokia 6 and it works perfectly but in this rom and stock rom (android 9) there are only four difference.
1. Boot animation
2. Navigation buttons
3. Theme colors can be changed
4. Launcher
Installing this rom was wast of time and net .

yeah. I rolled back to stock again because of this. No any features that are worth.

That guy who created this rom told he is working on another rom for nokia 6 which will have many new and improved features. But that rom will also runs on Android 9 .
But really want to see android 10 based rom rom nokia 6.

Yaah but he is not good in kernel development.
But hikari_calyx is a developer how trying for vender partition if he succeeded we will able to flash android 10 gsi on Nokia 6.
