How much FPS u got from your devices ?
I'm Using Unofficial CrDroid 8.1 with beacon kernel
Battery Setting ( Quick ) got 30-40 FPS but there is still overheating CPU Touch 48°C ..
How about you guys ?
Try viper coral v 3.1.1 [nougat] unofficial. I don't face that much heating and the game works well too. I use beacon kernel nougat pre-final with the rom

Using Gltools for FPS show
I use official Los 14.1 and it run this game very smoothly on balance graphic, all setting stock without KA.
cpu never get higher than 44° in game
I have tested on all others rom but it very smooth in Los

I have test that , still overheat .. U use in game setting for graphic right ? Get 26-27 FPS only but stable .. I use 60 fps files with smooth graphic .. It very smooth for early game but when getting 44-49°C shuttering lag is coming bruh ..
You can change the model to OPPO R15,and you will get more FPS than before.If you want more quality try GLTools
I use CrDroid Unofficial and getting 45°C max
And 60 fps with files

I mean when u play , when main menu its good 60 fps .. But when u start looting its not 60 fps .. Stable 30-40 fps do you ?
Or u got 60 FPS lock all time ?

I dont face overheating issue on los,
I just instaled gltools and my fps got 29-30 but i noticed lag after instaling gltools
@Darkmixx how u get 45° max, mine always higher than 45° on gaming in crdroid and the fps will drop on that themp

Do everyone has a problem playing PUBG or is it just me...if everyone then why can our mobile run it effectively even with high Antatu benchmark and a good Processor...even a MI phone of 6000 is Able to run it smoothly

Use RR or viper OS 7.1 rom wth vetigo kernel.. I m on RR wth vetigo n PUBG works fyn..

Stay in stock for games bro, I had this same problem and came to the conclusion that stock is the best for games

Try to use boosters with magisk modules or close all of your apps via kill apps.also can clean the cash.and it can cuz of having no free space on your device

Resurrection Remix working flawless for me on nougat with tons of features and no lag and stutter i play pubg ( with some gltools tweaks and thermal mod) and it run flawless no lag.
