There is some Recoverys and Su files to find with Google search but...
... There is no meta mode/bootloader (fastboot) drivers for the Blade v7.
If everybody has manage to root or unlock the bootloader share the drivers plz )
:fingers-crossed:
The bootloader can be unlocked in the Settings. Enable "Developer Options" by going to "Settings > About" and then click on the "Build Number" until you see a message "You are now a developer". From the General Settings a new menu option "Developer Settings" is now available. In "Developer Settings" there is a setting called "OEM Unlocking". Set it to true, then use fastboot to unlock the bootloader with "fastboot oem unlock"
Fastboot doesn't work (I'm on ArchLinux). It just doesn't detect the device at all, so after typing "fastboot oem unlock", it just says "< waiting for any device >"
ADB works, but I can't get fastboot to work (even as root)
I am experiencing the same issue on OSX. ADB works but fastboot doesn't ever connect. I wrote a script to run lsusb every second while switching the phone between recovery, bootloader, and normal boot. Here are the vendor ids with my notes in parentheses:
Code:
ID 0e8d:2000 MediaTek Inc. MT65xx Preloader (for 3 seconds pre boot)
ID 0e8d:2000 MediaTek Inc. MT65xx Android Phone (Bootloader)
ID 0e8d:2008 MediaTek Inc. MT65xx Android Phone Serial: 0123456789ABCDEF (OFF "charge screen")
ID 19d2:0307 19d2 BLADE Serial: 10063399 (During boot before decrypt volume screen [pin])
ID 19d2:0306 19d2 BLADE Serial: 10063399 (After entering in password to decrypt volume)
I wrote a script that ran
Code:
fastboot -i 0x0e82 devices
and
Code:
fastboot -i 0x19d2 devices
every second and it never returned anything during these different boot cycles. Recovery mode doesn't seem to produce any usb devices even after initiating an adb sideload. These tests were conducted with the Developer Option "OEM Unlocking" enabled in Marshmallow 6.0. The device is branded for the Telcel operator located in Mexico.
Are there really "drivers" that need to be installed above and beyond the android platform tools? It seems to me as if the fastboot interface to the bootloader was intentionally disabled by the manufacturer.
did anybody figure anything out? I tried using spft and flashing a recovery for a device which was basically identical however i seem to have bricked my device, (won't switch on, doesn't even light up when charging) if anybody figured anything out that'd be great
Fastboot
fastboot is only avaible when youre out of Metamode , you will still stuck there because you got no Serialnr .
Thats ok you dont need any to get root .
If someone wants to get root access pm me i´ve done it already.
I need an EU Stock ROM too so someone with an untouched EU ZTE BLADE V7 have to contact me pls :fingers-crossed::good:

unlocking/rooting on nougat A2017G

Hi All, i'm numb searching for a solution. I have a brand new axon7 and i want root. There are a lot howto's but they are confusing me a lot. I'm on 1.2.0B05.
I understand i have to downgrade my device to marshmellow. Will the link on http://www.ztedevice.com/support/detail?id=1170789A90BA42E18B3364B80C7F5A26 , the middle one, be sufficient to go back to marshmallow so i can get into the bootloader, so i can use fastboot?

No. First of all, check the model on the back of the phone. If it is an A2017 (you bought it in Aliexpress) then you need to use other guides. If it is an A2017G, then MAYBE you can simply use axon7toolkit, which is basically a 'one-click' tool. But before that, activate 'Enable OEM unlocking' and 'USB debugging' and 'ADB over network' on the Developer options. If you don't you just won't get anywhere.
Otherwise, if your phone IS an A2017G, you can use Controllerboy's guide ('unlock BL, root, TWRP, custom ROMS' or something on the lines). It doesn' use fastboot, which is the only limitation of Nougat stock for the G afaik. Just be aware that axon7tool is not the same as axon7toolkit

Its a ZTE A2017G. USB debugging and OEM unlocking is done. I'm on linux so i hope there is a way to access the bootloader for "fastboot oem unlock" and flashing twrp.
edit i will try find controlerboys guide.
2nd edit: found the guide at https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/guide-install-twrp-unlock-bl-flash-t3517379 . But it states: "Users on stock Nougat, do not proceed, this guide won't work for you. You need to downgrade to Marshmallow first."

Okay, but:
-Downgrading to Marshmallow probably won't restore fastboot
-To get Fastboot (at least in February) you needed to flash a package called 'A2017U_FASTBOOT_UNLOCK_EDL' through MiFlash. I think you could flash it even with the bootloader locked, and it didn't matter that it was for the U. Now, I don't know if there's a MiFlash for Linux. I guess you should find a Win10 x64 pc for this, since most tools (axon7tool, axon7toolkit, axon7root, maybe miflash) are windows only. Someone tried to root the phone from linux though, you can search if he could at the end or not.
The bootloader mode is not there. For some reason it can't be enabled by downgrading unless you flash the aboot.img which seems to be done with miflash

How to root Xperia L1?

I typed the code into my keypad and it went to system settings and it said I can't bootloader unlock this phone. Apparently I need this to grant permission for root. How do I root this particular phone? I managed to get a systemless root on my galaxy s5 by using TWRP to flash Majisk, although TWRP doesn't work for this phone. How can I actually root this phone. I would prefer to root with Majisk but honestly, I'd appreciate to know any way that I can really. Much appreciated!
if the unlock bootloader ALLOWED : is NO
then sorry sir
you cannot root this device!
There is a version of TWRP recovery for this phone which you have to flash to the boot partition, but I think in order to do this you need to have your bootloader unlocked. If your service menu says this option is disabled, then you're out of luck. :/ Sorry.
1. Go to Sony Developer site. Get bootloader unlockin code for your IMEI.
2. Dowload flashtool 9.25 with drivers.
3. In Developer menu tick allow OEM unlocking and USB debug.
I did it for my. It was not allowed to unlock bootloader first, but flashtool does it (in two steps)
i unlock the bootloader ,but i cant root this phone.
i try many ways but its faild.
plz help me to root my phone
old post I know, but did you get this rooted at all? as I have the phone (5 years now) and want to get a different OS on it to de-google it - but I'm new to it all, I have flashed firmware on other devices but never ventured into mobiles
cheers

bootloop, bootloader unlock not possible

Hi everyone,
my v20 h990ds ( stock without root ) is in bootloop.
When i tried the "DirtySanta" solution, i can do the steps on my device ( bootloop ). So i decide to unlock the bootloader.
I come from the nexus community, so i have searched for a solution by fastboot.
Now then i try to ask to the LG from my "unlock.bin" file, it says that my phone is not unlockable (wtf?).
Searching in to the forum, i read about the "download mode", but when i try to jump in, my phone reboot itself after 4 seconds. Is it normal?
Do you have another solution for my phone?

are you following the directions here > https://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/development/dirtysanta-h990-t3624296
The dirtysanta hack is the unlocked bootloader, it installs the Eng Aboot specifically for devices that cant be unlocked.
