Since the Android Pie update its not that RAM management is particularly worse, its that the Recents display of RAM usage is bugged and the statistic itself is not correct.
For me it's terrible on EMUI 9 ?
6gb emui 9 running fine. Only think is battery neex to imorove
Sometimes it kills my Spotify when i open camera or Chrome, worst memory management ever.
I have the 4GB RAM model and I have never had an issue with multitasking. Very impressed.

This phone opens apps very quickly and scrolling is very smooth. I'm quite surprised at how good this phone's chipset is!

I'd say it's more to do with their software/hardware integration. The Kirin 970 is not much faster than the SD835 and certainly slower than the SD845 but the P20 Pro still feels faster than phones with either of those chips.
Seems to be delayed by Android-EMUI handshaking.
Apps launch very fast on EMUI 9.1. I have the 6GB RAM version and have been very pleased with app launch speeds so far.
Would you say that the Honor 10 is "fast" in day-to-day use? A higher rating indicates that you think the Honor 10 exhibits fantastic performance. Like, is it as fast as your tears when you watch The Titanic?

I currently have the Honor View 10 that uses the same SoC, memory and very similar software. My daily use has been great and I've never faced clutters or slow downs in the performance. The battery life is also top notch, thanks in large to the under the hood optimisations in the EMUI 8.0
Overall speed and performance really good.. No lag no slow down..
I have been using it from a couple of days and its performance is fine and no lags till now. And BTW mine is a 4GB variant.
For me is good. I'm satisfied for heavy business use.
For the price, this phone has exceptional performance. It can easily be compared to some of the other top flagships from around its release date. The Kirin 970 paired with 4GB of RAM and plenty to keep everything running smoothly.
Honor 10's overall speed is excellent. Even after 2 years of use. I look on social networks, write articles for a my webmaster blog from my phone, take pictures. No complaints.

According to some articles i read about nubia x, the 2 screens can be used at the same time (front shows 1 app and rear shows another app). This is separate from the gaming rear control feature. And it also has under screen fingerprint reader
Are these true?

App Launch speed- Honor 20 Lite
The Kirin 710 is capable of running the day-to-day tasks which makes its speed nice.
Each time I switch around apps and back to Chrome it reloads the page, I switched off "App Launch" to manual and allowed all possible options, it did not help. Honor 20 Lite has very aggressive memory manager, which kills the joys of multi tasking.

I agree with your comment.
Good Device. Overall Speed is good. Gaming and videos...everything is good.
It's meh. My phone sometime hangs when I try to take a photo or recently if I have used split screen
maybe it because i rooted the device seems to have started after that..ALSO any room suggestion would be nice
Previously with android 9 it was little bit slow but after updating to android 10 its over all speed is improved.
Major improvement in clicking photos with 48 MP camera and night mode . Ram management of background activity is better than previous android version.
