Hello,
I have installed the Lineage OS on my LG G2. Later I want to delete my data's on the phone, so I use the Factory reset in the Lineage OS. After the Factory reset it boots to the TWRP? And it don't boot to the OS again, so i have installed the Lineage OS again. After this the phone boots to TWRP again. I tested to installed the kernel again without success.
What can I do?
Thank you
Sorry for my bad english

Hello,
I have a lg g2 d800. I was trying to flash the latest cyanogenmod 13.0 snapshot. I was on cyanogenmod 12.1 the older june snapshot. I booted into recovery and stupidly did not make a backup because I am an idiot. I did a reset before I flashed the rom ( system, cache, dalvik). I flashed the rom and gapps and there were not any problems. I try to reboot the phone and it is just stuck in a boot loop. I have twrp installed. I can access twrp fine. I just need some tips on getting a different nightly or snapshot (I will probably use an older 12.1 snapshot) onto my phone to flash it.
Thanks in advance.
Hello all,
So i just bought a v20 on swappa and it came preloaded with TWRP 3.1.0-0, and Lineage 14.1.
I went under updates in the OS and it completed. Once it rebooted it went right to TWRP. I can not seem to get out of recovery mode.
I have tried reloading the ROM, and tried different roms. They all install with no errors. But when I reboot I go right back to TWRP.
What am i doing wrong?
(sorry english isnt my first language)
Hey, I'm new to android modding and I decided to reinstall lineage os by doing wipe and flashing the rom again, and now it still asks for password, when I enter it, it's stuck in bootloop.
EDIT: Ok, I managed to flash stock but, I'm still interested, when I'll use Lineage OS, how can I reinstall it if I see a problem?
Long story short, all you really need to fully wipe your device according to the instructions. Did you flash GApps before booting System? You should also read through the dedicated LOS thread here.
Hey there,
tried to install new lineage os 14.1 on my d802. came from cm13.
twrp is 3.1.1.0
Install new version 14.1 after clean factory reset. but all my phone does is to boot into recovery.
any help?
thanks a lot!
I installed TWRP 3.1.1 using the ODIN patched version and was successful. I had let the system boot into the samsung original stock from where you see "HI" then I rebooted it into TWRP to attempt flashing and I got the /data partition couldn't be wiped. So I ran some of the other repair functions in TWRP and that appear to have fixed it. I then flashed with the latest LineageOS, Gsap, and Magistk20. When it boots up the LineageOS I'm stuck on the Lineage Splash screen. I've let it run over night and it has't changed anything. Any advice?
I recommend trying to wipe the system and reinstall LineageOS with flashing Magisk. If the same problem occurs. Just wipe the system and flash LineageOS without installing Magisk.

Here's how I think I fixed it.
booted into TWRP
advanced wipe, Factory reset
booted it into TWRP
Flashed the LineageOS
boot into LineageOS
boot it into TWRP
flashed the Gapps.
I'm up and running now. I tried different iterations and It really bothered me because it worked fine on another one. I was also at time flashing it with SuperSU and other times with Magisk. It didn't matter which one I used it got stuck on the LineageOS splash screen.

By the way, it's called the boot animation. The splash screen is like the Samsung screen that says powered by Android.
Possible corrupted file

So far you're quite correct I personally have three SM-T580's and they all seem to work just a little bit different. Might I suggest doing an MD5 Sumcheck? The device shouldn't be getting into a bootloop unless there was something wrong with the files, or the device.
