Hello Everybody.
I Need some help with my Lumia 950, it's in Boot Loop, Going to Windows Logo and Restarting.
I Already used many ways to factory reset or flash the device, using WDRT, WPinternals, Windows Phone Image Designer, thor2.exe and more.
All the times the flashing process goes well and it finishes the process showing a green screen after the flashing and starting the boot process, going to Microsoft logo, windows logo, windows logo again and just after, the screen goes black and the phone vibrates and restart.
I Really need some help, it's happens when i was recharging the phone at my workstation, it was with 8% battery, so i put the charger (from Sony Brand) and when i came back to check my phone, it was in boot loop.
My phone are really hot, sometimes the screen, battery and the enclosure are really hot, many more than other phones charging.
I already bought a new battery and checked with a multimeter the voltage of the old and the new battery.
So... i'm stuck... i really don't know how to solve this problem... I don't access to a official maintenance center at my country (Brazil), and the parts for this phone are almost impossible to get here (from official ways)...
So. Anyone knows how to solve this ? or passed by the same problem ?
Thanks

Hi everyone,
I have had some trouble with my Vogue. At first it simply would not turn on. I would get a red light when I plugged the phone in to charge it. I have been using my old phone for several months now. Today I went out to the nearest Bell store and it seems like anything new is going to cost in the $500 area because I still have 1 year left on my contract. So I have renewed my interest in getting my Vogue working again
The original thread describing my original problem (with the red light) is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=546674
I purchased a new battery and now when I plug it in on the USB I can turn it on (no lights, red, green, or otherwise) but it does turn on. It boots up just passed the blue “Bell” splash screen and then reboots. It does this over and over again.
I am able to get into the boot loader screen by holding down the power and camera buttons and pressing the reset button.
Any ideas on what I can do? Any suggestions are welcome.
Regards,
The Fish
Reflash your rom when you get to the bootloader screen.
If you are unlocked flash nfsfan or whatever, just rename the nbh file to 'VOGUIMG.nbh' and it will flash.
If you were on stock you'll need the nbh from the stock package.
OK, here is an update
I have tried a hard-reset (press Send and End buttons at the same time and press reset button). This worked but the phone still kept rebooting. Tried the original battery, phone booted a little further up before rebooting.
I got the phone into boot loader mode and left it plugged in on the USB cable for a few minutes. This time when I rebooted I became ecstatic. I got all the way to the “align your screen” stage before hearing the “phone is dying” sound and the phone turned off. So here is what I think may have happened:
I have long lost the home charger kit. So I have, for as long as I can remember, been charging it by plugging it into a PC via the USB. This is fine except that Windows will only power the USB for the device if there is a driver installed. The device/phone looks different to Windows when it is in boot loader mode then when it is fully booted up. If the device is so dead as to not even have a flicker of life I don't think Windows sees it.
I have been doing this tonight under Linux. Linux seems to either have the driver, a more generic driver or powers the USB all the time for any device. I noticed this same behavior when charging my Moto Razr the same way. Under Linux it just worked by plugging it in. Under Widows I had to install the driver. So maybe here is what happened.
The battery got SO dead that it was not able to boot the phone up far enough for Windows on the PC to see it, recognize it and begin powering the USB port. Perhaps leaving the phone in bootloader mode and plugged into a Linux box got the battery a little more charged till I got to the point of being able to align the screen.
Anyway, I am more then ever convinced that this is some kind of battery/power issue. The phone is now lying here powered up and charging (already at 20%). The carrier customizations ran, rebooted while I crossed my fingers, and came back up. I even called *BELL and got a message about activating my phone. Tomorrow if the phone is charged up and behaving normally I will get an ESN change done and be back in the world of decent smartphones. Man have I ever missed my Google Maps
The next step is to flash a more up-to-date ROM... if I dare mess with a good thing.

Hi good day, im a newbie here. I have problem with my LG Optimus 7 E900 Windows Phone 7.5, its just stuck on boot logo. The problem started last week, i was sleeping and i woke up because my pillow is kinda hot and then i found out it was my phone. It was hotter than the usual and it was not even plugged in to a charger, it was also stuck to the LG boot logo screen. I tried to unlugged the battery since i cant turn it off, waited for 3 -5 minutes and plugged it back in - still the same. I tried to do the Cold Boot, by holding the Volume - and Camera and tapping the Power button but nothing is happening, it just says Cold Boot and wont do anything. I tried to do the Restore, by holding the Camera button and tapping the Power and i got the screen that shows it needs to be connected to the computer. I've connected it to the computer and Zune automatically detected it and says the phone needs to be restored. For few minutes the restoration was complete and the phone started to turn on again. I was very happy but then, the problem starts again, the phone just turn off and stuck on the boot logo. I've unplugged the battery, after half a day i plugged it back in and the phone turned on. I reset the phone because i thought that it could theres no memory left but after few minutes, it happened again. So my phone is now useless, it will turn on for 10 to 30 minutes if i unplugged the battery for 3 to 5 hours. Is this a software or hardware issue??? I am really wondering why and Im kinda frustrated about LG or WP7 already.
If anyone out there can help me i would really appreciate it. If you have the same problem, lets help each other so that we can have our phone working again. Thanks for reading! Have a great day!
please help
This is hardware problem. You have to buy this board:
You can buy New SIM Card Micro-HD Flex Cable for LG E900 Optimus 7 from ebay.com, sefelectronics.com or mobile-cherry.com.
I recommend to buy it from mobile-cherry.com. It 100% works!

Hi sir, thanks for your reply. after two weeks, my phone starts working again. its been two days now and still working fine. what happened is that i tried to charge it when it was off, after 30 mins or so i turned it on and it works. but i noticed and smelled burnt plastic. i stick my noise on the micro usb part and its really smells something is burning inside but the phone is still turned on. i took off the back cover and i felt that the upper is hot and the battery seems to be ok.
i guess my concern is, is it okey to use this still? im afraid that it might explode or something while on my pocket. what would you suggest?
thank you very much!, i really appreciate it.
I solved this problem by disabling the detection of the position in the menu settings. You should have a lot of patience in being able to restart it at least once to enter the menu, possibly leaving it off and without battery for a whole night.
I finally got the right digitizer for my LG-D802, and when I turn it on it will either go through the boot process, and then show 0% battery and tell me it's turning off because of the battery, or do a boot process with what looks like a buffering logo animation followed by a regular speed animation, led light flashes green and blue and then back to the 0% battery and turn off. If connect it with charger turns on by it self and the boot logo runs like slow motion, after some time reboot and does bootloop.
I can get it to firmware download mode, and cannot get it to factory reset. I also cannot get my win 7 to see the phone after trying tons of different drivers.
Please help
hi, my son let some water swap over his brand new redmi 3s 32GB. he said not much, but enough to destroy the phone as it seems. the only thing happening is a permanent bootloop: black screen, short vibration, mi logo, black screen, vibration, boot logo.... and so on.
tried to flash a fastboot image but no way to get into fastboot or recovery mode as the restart occurs to fast. some times the fastboot screen appears instead of the mi logo (or the low batterie logo as i let the battery run empty yesterday to test this out), but before the pc can recognize the device correct its already booting again (3-5 sec each time).
i already opened the device and put it in rice for 48h to get the humidity out but without any succes.
any other ideas? thanks, ..
Problem solved! If anybody occurs the same problem try to change the power flex cable, this solved my problems. Found the idea in another thread for another device from another brand but it works like a charm: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2638916 i got a new cabl for less then 10 euro @eBay, if theres no hurry you get them for less the 2 eur @aliexpress!
Let me explain what happened: I was using the phone as normal, but suddenly it started to reboot itself, and with every reboot it was losing some battery until the point it lost all the energy, and now when I try to charge it, the only thing I get is the battery animation starting and suddenly disappearing, like a bootloop. Same situation when I try to boot into Safe Mode or Recovery Mode. But I was able to boot into download mode, so I tried to flash the stock firmware again both through Smart Switch and ODIN, but I got the same results. And also, this only happens if I have the phone connected to the PC or the charger. If I try to turn it on while disconnected, it doesn't do anything. What can I do???
Update: Well, now it reaches the Samsung logo but it get stuck in a bootloop. I 'm also able to boot to the recovery, but I'm not really sure of what can I do from there
I'm having similar issues!
Upon further investigation, I discovered some pocket lint stuffed in the bottom of the MicroUSB-port. A toothpick was enough to get it out. Still having issues with "mmc_read" failure, booting and long response times, but at least it charges reliably now. Will flash updated recovery/kernel/ROM as it has been a while - fingers crossed this will help.
I'm thinking the root cause of our issues might be different, but check your USB-port if you haven't already.
For my next phone I will consider integrated port covers, like the Xperia series.
I bid you good luck fixing your problem. Would'nt mind knowing what the root cause of your problem is if you find out.
The phone is alive again! The problem was the battery, I just replaced it and the phone booted as normal

Thanks for the update. Just out of curiosity. Was the bad battery a little bit puffy. On my note 3 I could tell by feeling and looking at it from the edge. Battery going bad starts to Puff up in the middle.
