LINK REMOVED BY MOD:
Note: If you do this trick then your warranty is void. I am not responsible for bricked devices and other technical issues.
First, go to setting and active developer mode.
Then enable USB debugging and OEM.
Now Press Volume and Power button together until your phone enters in Fastboot mode.
Then Connect your phone with your pc through a USB cable.
Download Twrp File From LINK REMOVED BY MOD.
And Flash Boot that img file by using “fastboot flash boot_b TWRP-3.2.3-jasmine-20180804.img”
After this process again enter “fastboot set_active b” in fastboot cmd software.
then reboot and hold Volume Up to boot, you will enter TWRP
That means twrp is installed on MI A2.
This is the modded version of Twrp (Unofficial). Thanks TingyiChen For Share Device Tree For Building TWRP

Hai all , I am new here.
I need some help to unbrick my device. i tried almost all method and still no luck. the only method i havent tried is DFC, but i dont prefer to do it since its pretty complicated.
My device run rom Global Stable Miui 7 and i flashed Developer rom Global using EDL download mode.
there was an error and now my device stuck in Mi logo. I can still access Mi bunny fastboot ( vol down + power)
So far I have tried 3 methods
Method 1: reboot to fastboot mode, plug to pc, open ADB cmd prompt and type fastboot oem EDL. But no success because device is still locked bootloader.
Method 2: reboot to fastboot mode, plug in to pc, download fastboot EDL cmd from xda forum, unzip then run edll.cmd, device reboot to mi logo again.
Method 3: in Mi logo, plug in to pc, open cmd prompt, type Adb reboot edl, press enter but device cannot reboot to edl mode because it says I need to tap on confirmation dialog on device. But its not possible since device only load up to mi logo
Download the latest stable fastboot ROM from here http://en.miui.com/a-234.html then flash it.

If only it was that easy. I've tried 3 methods above but still no luck. Use Adb reboot edl, fastboot oem.
How to flash if its only stuck at mi logo
Because I had this exact same thing happened before. What I did was while it kept bootlooping at the Mi boot splash I held down Vol - + power until fastboot mode pops up. Then you'd be able to flash.

First off you cannot just unlock the bootloader easily, like in fastboot or anyhow, you need to follow the guides. And this is possible by the way only with a working Dev rom.
Well so now, you've to get miflash tool and flash either stock rom, or dev rom.
You simply hold power and volume down as long (can take some time) as it will show "fastboot" and some android art.
Then you follow the guides to flash either stock rom or dev rom using fastboot, and you're good to go.
I don't see why this wouldn't be working for you, try to stick exactly to what i said. If you don't know how to use Miflash then search at en.miui.com

Did you unlock developer mode as in my case I am also stuck in bootloop and fastboot oem edl is not working as developer mode is disabled thus oem is also disabled.
Hey!
I had the same Problem.
Flashing with Miflash was unsuccessfull and then EDL was locked. You can check this when the device is in fastboot and send "fastboot oem edl". Then there may be the message that EDL is locked. In that case you have to build a "deep flash cable". It is pretty easy. You can check this tutorial:
http://en.miui.com/thread-310325-1-1.html
But I would build it another way: Just cut a USB cable and reconnect all wirepairs with the open copper. Now you can just put "ground" and "data+" togehther and follow steps 7 to 9. At point 10 you can just disconnect the wires "ground" and "data+" again, so that all wires are connected normally again. Now you are in EDL and can flash with MiFlash.
1. First Unlock the Bootloader of Your Phone. (Attention: Unlocking the bootloader will erase all your data! So please back up your data before you unlock the bootloader)
2. Download The PitchBlack Recovery zip file here.
3. Download the Platform Tools folder here and unzip the folder on your desktop.
4. Unzip the PitchBlack Recovery zip folder and copy the recovery.img form TWRP folder and paste in the Platform tool folder.
5. Enter the fastboot mode by holding together "Volume Down + Power" and connect your device to your computer via USB cable (best would be the original cable)
6. Opne the command Prompt WIndow son the Platforms tool folder.
7. Now enter the following command to flash recovery.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
8. Now boot your phone in recovery.
fastboot boot recovery.img
9. Once your phone PBRP recovery copy the Pitch Balck Recovery Zip in the phone.
10. Install the Pitch Balck Recovery Zip file.
11. Reboot > System
Done
.
Hi,
I installed this recovery. But evry time I boot into recovery, it said enter password. Then I installed DM verity disabler. after that installed this recovery zip file. Now seems working.
But, when I checked the developer options, it isn't showing device is unlocked. It says "this device is locked", and it wants me to bind account to unlock.
I checked by fastboot, and it says device unlocked = true.
Why developer options shows device is locked?
Installed rom is global stable 10.0.5.0
What must I do to developer options unlock status show true(locked).
thanks...
cannot mount storage, please help
Hello guys
I have a problem, yesterday I was putting the twrp to my one plus 6t via fastboot and as soon as I entered the bootloader I put the command "fastboot boot twrp.img" and it said "fastboot unknow command".
So I searched on google for the commands to start the twrp via the PC terminal and I found this command "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img".
Everything ok, it restarts the screen, 3 minutes then it is turned off and remains in the initial screen where it says that the bootloader is unlocked, it does not go in fastboot mode not in recovery
Tips?
Use the Msm tool to recover if your phone is bricked.

When it comes to A/B slot phones (Like the OnePlus 6T), you're not suppose to use the fastboot flash recovery twrp.img command. The reason why is because that command doesn't apply to A/B slotted phones, you need to use the fastboot boot twrp.img command to boot into TWRP and then flash the TWRP flasher for OnePlus 6T which can be found here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...overy-unofficial-twrp-touch-recovery-t3861482
Make sure to download the flasher zip and the latest img for TWRP.
Drag the .img into the fastboot folder and use fastboot boot twrp-3.3.1-8-fajita.img. Then once it boots into TWRP, drag and drop the installer zip onto your phone's storage and flash it. Reboot into recovery and you should have TWRP on your phone.

Make sure the device is off,Press volume up + volume down button then connect it to the computer.
If your device still doesn't show up,try pressing volume up+volume down+power button and then connect it.
This worked for me in many cases.
When I connect my phone via USB it shows up in the device manager as Qualcomm HS-USB.... But when I try using MSM it shows the phone connected on port 16 and I hit start and it fails after 16 seconds because it can't do a download. My question is is the download external via internet or is it a file in the MSM folder? I might be blocked by firewall at work if external.
EDIT: Looks like I found my issue. I couldn't tell if my phone was on or off since I had no display after trying about 20 more times I guess I got it ON.
I was a running my Redmi note 7 with DerpFest rom and with Ofox custom recovery
The phone suddenly got into a bootloop and now I can only access the fastboot screen (not even the Custom recovery screen)
How can I proceed to reinstall the sistem and the Custom Recovery?
I've already downloaded Minimal ADB and fastboot ulitily to make things faster
Edit: Also, I couldn't get the MiFlash program working, some errors are happening

Just copy the ZIP file of the ROM and flash, as you dos when you first installed. Maybe just wipe caches

Try to reflash the recovery with fastboot first. Need to have xiaomi usb drivers installed to can use adb/fastboot connection. When the phone is in fastboot mode connect with a good (original) USB cable and check the connection with "fastboot devices" command in cmd/powershell window. Extract and use "recovery.img" from latest orangefox zip file. Flash to phone using "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" command then reboot holding together "Volume Up + Power" until you see the MI logo, release "Power" button but keep pressing "Volume Up" until you see the recovery. When you have working orangefox recovery, try to flash new rom. More information about driver/fastboot/recovery here (skip "unlock the bootloader" part): https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-7/how-to/one-redmi-note-7-unlock-bootloader-t3890751
The MiFlash program issue can be caused by missing/wrong xiaomi usb driver, if you will have answer from "fastboot devices" command (phone detected), can try the MiFlash again, just be careful: DON'T LOCK the BOOTLOADER. Good luck.
Hello, I really need someone to help me out.
I wanted to flash Pixel Experience on my Redmi K20 Pro so I unlocked the Bootloader and flashed TWRP using ADB tools.
Later I cleared the internal storage by mistake using TWRP without knowing that it would clear my OS too.
But once I cleared my internal storage, even TWRP was missing.
Now I don't have an OS and TWRP.
Every time I reboot, I enter into Fastboot mode. When I use the command "fastboot devices" it lists my device.
And when I flash TWRP, it gives me a Positive response but when I use Power + Vol Up, it just restarts and enters Fastboot mode.
I really want this to be fixed. If there's any way please help me out guys.
Download your device fastboot rom and install with mi flash tool
Download TWRP from here: https://twrp.me/xiaomi/xiaomimi9t.html
Then use the following commands:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot reboot twrp.img
Now TWRP should be flashed and you can try to flash PE again.
