Is it possible to use subs on stock os?? Did anyone tried it out?? If yes then plzz guide me through one problem...
What i did :
1) Downloaded Andromeda PC client and App + Substratum theme engine
2) Did the Andromeda process successfully with a green "CONNECTED" alert
3) Substratum says failed to verify! (As told in the guide preferred on XDA, subs get launched automatically after Andromeda process, didnt happen)

I also tried that. Then it was not happening, i uninstalled the Andromeda and applied for refund
Work well on my device!
Did you purchased Andromeda from play store?
I Just followed the andromeda guide and the status was connected and substratum started right away.
Now I'm currently using Pitchblack Theme and its working flawlessly.
I am using Andromeda only for theming the navigation bar. Did you purchase Andromeda through Google Play Store?

There is no way of using it without buying, and I request you to purchase apps that are paid as it helps the development. Cheers!

I'm having the same issue...What kernel are you guys using? Is permissive required?
You need to delete vendor/overlay if you previously tried installing Layers. This is what fixed it for me.

Hey man, I saw you had Coalesce and Figlio. I was actually trying to decide which one of those to buy and try for Nougat. If you don't mind, which one do you prefer? Or think works better with N?
Guys N just dropped some most Substratum themes are not working perfectly on N. They can be used but everything won't work perfectly. Also since we are on stock rom we are using Substratum Legacy you need a custom ROM with the oms commits in order to get Masquerade and since N just dropped there aren't any at the moment

Came here to say this. Non of the themes are really compatible with N yet. I tried about a dozen different ones. Ran into issues with apps force closing after applying themes. I had a few crash Documents, a few that would crash settings when you go to change certain settings. Give it a little bit for the themes to update. Might have to wait for the factory images to go live for the 6P. All in all, substratum does work in legacy mode so you need to reboot after changes are applied. Just note that you may run into errors and FC's.
Deity theme works in legacy mode with no issues, using theme ready gapps though

See there is lots of options
I m giving you one
Use substratum with andromeda.
You must have both apps - substratum is free, andromeda is paid. To activate rootles mode you need to run PC script (phone is connected via adb and appos command is used).

I'm using this theme, it's amazing.

This works rootless/without root so only thing u need to do is update to oreo, and do this from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-6/how-to/guide-oreo-follow-steps-t3723776
Follow all the steps carefully
After that install those apps that i provided you, they work in oreo only

I tried via Andromeda..but it is not working because i didn't purchase Andromeda from playstore..
I don't have credit card to purchase it ....so how to apply substratum theme in Oreo stable...?
Use PayTM to make a Google Play Store gift card, then redeem it using your account. You can buy apps from that money.
I've tried it and it works. I bought PowerAMP with it
Why going for substratum themes just follow another in XDA and change the accent Colors it's soo cool
I bought it but haven 't tested, anyone who has tested andromeda and confirm is working in Oreo Stable ?
It doesn't work for me. I downloaded everything as in XDA thread but there were some errors displayed in the adb commands but couldn't read it cause it went away very fast.
Work perfectly on MI A1. Just be sure to install the adb drivers, then follow the instructions detailled on OP of this thread.

Whats the theme name u using bro?
Both of the screen above are from this : https://www.xda-developers.com/mini...-app-more-quick-setting-columns-android-oreo/
And i haven't yet experimented other themes, i'm a bit afraid of trying one not fully compatible with android O and to get bootloop or other problem.

Hi buddy,
If you want to use substratum, you will need to use it with andromeda, and you must have both apps - substratum is free, andromeda is paid.
Note: If you will try to use the cracked one, then you might get error or wont use the substratum
substratum may be very good theme manager but remember this will consume more battery so dont complaint about this problem.
This process is rootless, so you dont need to root your device
To activate rootless mode you need to run PC script (phone is connected via adb and appos command is used).
All instructions are given on this link

Are there any alternatives to substratum theming on Oreo? The Andromeda and substratum package is a little too buggy for me , and constantly requires you to connect your phone to a PC upon reboot.
Thanks guys

I've used Substratum too but had problems with the battery, don't know why.
Anyway, i've discovered theme Galaxy on play store (can't link right now) and it lets you customize your phone pretty much.
I use ThemeGalaxy from the app store.
