Hello there...i have a problem with my ppc speaker (the speaker that is next to camera...you know). After some working hours my speaker goes crazy. When i try to play a mp3 or the phone rings then my speaker sounds like the music is amplified and speaker cannot play it at normal quality. It sounds like the bass is too high for the speaker! If i soft reset the phone then everything is back to normal for a few hours....then it does the same again....Any solutions?
P.S Sorry for my english.
Same problem...my speakers are mute for some seconds ( in a random way ) during calls in live-voice or skype calls...loudness goes higher and quality decreases before...any suggestion?
I found the cause of this problem....It works fine until i turn on the speaker during a call. After that it needs a soft reset to come back to normal.I think that it is a soft update issue.

Same thing happened to me...listened to WMP through headphones...take the headphones out & NO SOUND!!! I could put the headphones back in and hear sound, but NO sound on the phone or sound from WMP w/o the headphones. I G-E-N-T-L-Y moved the 2.5 jack in and out of the audio jack and the sound almost instantly came back...repeat as necessary!
Hello all,
since yesterday I have a serious problem with my Ameo.
When making a phone call or running media player there is no sound through the loudspeakers, even testing ring-tone or alarm sound is not working.
However, when a phone call comes in, I get the ringtone through the loadspeakers.
Tried soft and hard reset - both ot making anything better.
What can I do ?
Thanks for your help
Dieter
Now I discovered something strange:
After making a hard-reset, I get for about 1 second sound through the speakers.
Also after re-flashing the ROM I get for about a second somethin through the speakers.
Anybody an idea ?
Dieter
hi
have you used the headphones bevore the sound was gone? there are serval isues on htc devices that after unpluging the headphones one of the contacts inside the headphonejack of the device is not switching back to its normal position so the athena still thinks that the headphones are connected and is sending all output to theme. i had these also one time on my universal.
greetings mad
Hello mad,
thanks for the information. Putting in and out the jack twice got it running again.
Thanks so far.
Dieter
hey there,
I use speakerphone a lot while talking on the phone and had no problem with it.
one day it stopped producing the loud volume it used to and it's REALLY LOW since then. As if it's not on speaker at all.
there's NO problem with the volume while playing/watching media; NO problem while talking on the phone with my ear near the phone or with an ear piece. ONLY WHILE IT'S ON SPEAKER.
1- it's NOT connected to any update (it started on 7.0 and yesterday i updated to 7.1.1 hoping it will help, but nothing has changed)
2- my 6P in not rooted
3- it has stock rom
4- MAYBE it's related to an app i installed called "DRUPE" which affects the phone, but it didn't start immediately and didn't get fixed after remiving this app, so i can't be sure.
5- i've tried SAFE MODE, but it didn't solve the problem
6- i've tried looking for a solution in the settings but nothing there affects the volume of the speakerphone or limits it.
7- i've wiped the cache - NOTHING
the fact that the speaker works fine during media playing shows me that it's not a hardware problem, but YOU ARE THE EXPERTS' so please help me.
I own the max pro and when i try to use my earphones with the 3.5 headphone jack it kinda malfunctions . It bugs out , that is it keeps on increasing the volume by itself (dosent stop) , In youtube it automatically hits the 'next' button . I Tried the same with bluetooth headphone and its working fine . Is it just me or do anyone face the same problem ? Thanks in advance .

Thank you for your response but the earphone is Sony , and i previously owned a Oneplus 3T and it worked perfectly fine . I dont think its the earphone's fault . Have you been experiencing any difficulties ?
Do you use a PU back cover? There have been instances when the side grips push & mess with volume. Try again without the case. Or else, a factory reset might work...
what you do is if the headphone has any mettel part or a mike keep it far from the screen.
i have had this that if the mettel part or the part having the mike touches the screen it doesnt behave properly

I dont think thats the problem , are you implying the metal part ? as I have said before , i dont think its a problem with my headphone . Thank you for your response though .
Try changing your earphones
I also had this issue while using my JBL T150A earphones. I used have some glitches while using earphones. Some times apps started automatically as I touched the screen and started them. Scrolling through the lists also used to stop at intervals and no smooth scrolling.
Next time, I used another earphones (Mi Piston) and everything worked with them. No glitches. No "auto touch" etc.
Try giving it a shot and use another pair of earphones.
Attached image shows how my 9Gag app is highlighted due to my earphones.

Some headphones have different arrangements for mic & audio out in the jack... It may work perfectly on one phone but may not work on another... So, try another headphone first, before resetting... (i'm using a motorola headset without glitches)
Having the same issue
I'm also having the same issue. I used iPhone headphone it works after I adjust it. I tried 3 more headphones and I get headphone symbol only and not with mic one.
The volume increase decrease and all glitches are really present. I'm facing such issue for first time. I have used many smartphones but never faced so much issue related to headphone.
By the way, how is the audio quality via headphone jack on this phone?
the audio is good it depends on headphones.
Well did someone face issue like the headphone doesn't go in properly in headphone jack ..... ?
yes i did but with some force i managed it in and now it does it properly.

I have some problem like this i been buying max pro m1 two day ago and try use two different headset sony and samsung but doesn't work and i try with another phone and working i know this not my headset fault ,maybe my jack 3,55 is trouble so somebody please tell me about this sorry my English not good
I also face the same problem but what I found that the headphone jack is a tight fit for most of the headphone/earphones but gentle push might work.
I am using "1more Piston Fit" at present and they works way to much good.
Try your luck at Paytm and grab that.
yes, I have bought the asus zenfone max pro m1 two days earlier, and when im trying to insert my earphone into the 3.5 mm jack, its not working properly. It malfunctions, and get disconnected by itself.

i experienced it too. so, i pushed the pin harder into the 3.5mm jack; it fit snugly and the sound is uninterrupted now.
