Hello friends, I recently bought the letv x720 ...
I have put TWRP 3.2.3 ...
But when installing the cuoco92 rom:
-Checking system compatibility ....
-Patching system image unconditionally ....
Update will take 3-4 minutes. Be patient !!
I've been like this for about an hour now

I think that TWRP its "too New" for this ROM. I think of you want to flash stock Rom/ MM6.0 you should use a older recovery.
It's not the twrp I just tried and the result is the same ....
I tried to install Pixel experience and the phone is brickea ...
What problem can there be?
In my experience, the twrp version can make some problems. use all in one tool to flash a factory rom like 20s then install an older twrp and whatever you want after that
I have tried to use the TWRP 3.2.0 with the rom of stock 20s ...
It is not a problem of the rom Cuoco92, every time I install a rom on my phone (Pixel Experience, LineageOS etc ...)
something older like 3.1.1 or even older

Use TWRP like 3.2.1-1 and format your Data. And wipe Data, System, Cache, Dalvik and Storage. Then try to flash Custom Rom (Oreo will be ok) via OTG. That should fix the problem.

If your LePro3 have 32GB, about 10GB are in use With System/Apps... My LePro3 its 64GB, and after very clean install I have just 51GB free for Use. So if your phone is 32GB, its normal to have -10GB on use for system and apps after install Rom.
I have use this Rom several times, Twrp doesn't matter. You must have a Full Clean install. >>> Full Clean Wipe Means format storage, then reboot to recovery > Flash Rom, Firmware ( if needed) Place Magisk 16.7 in Storage > Flash Magisk 16.7 from storage.
Since Gapps is already installed its not needed> don't flash gapps.
can you please provide me rom cuoco92 v4 28s?
does it work for 722?

Hi, i have on my N7-2012 TWRP 3.0.2.
I did Advanced Wipe for all partitions, and Format Data. I changed /data and /cache to f2fs and flashed a Nougat ROM from this form (DirtyUnicorn) I had no troubles.
I wiped system again (to avoid space problems during the flash of Gapps) and tried to flash GApps 'open_gapps_arm7.0-micro-20161018.zip', but i got this error:
*** Incompatible Android ROM detected ***
This GApp pkg is for Android 7.0.x ONLY
Please download the correct version for
your ROM: 5.1.1 (SDK 22)
*** GApps intallation failed ***
- Copying log to /usb-otg/Nexus 7 Asus
- NO changes were made to your device
Install will now exit...
Error code: 20
- Unmounting
I tried with other nougat ROM such as Carbon but i got the same error. The weirdness is that i tried also with a MM rom, and tried to flash GApps for MM... again, same error! He ask for a 5.1.1 GApps! So strange.
So, only for my curiosity, i reflashed DU ROm, downloaded and flashed GApps for 5.1.1. First time, i got the error:
*** Incompatible Android ROM detected ***
This GApp pkg is for Android 5.1.1 ONLY
Please download the correct version for
your ROM: 7.0.0 (SDK 22)
*** GApps intallation failed ***
i tried again and flash worked, i rebooted the device and..... bootloop... obviously.
Can you help me?
UPDATE: i forget to say that i tried also with: nano and pico gapps, and Banks Gapps. Same problem. if i reboot the device without gapps the rom work but if i download apk play store and install it doesn't work when i open it.
pls, noone can help me? :crying:

Are you wiping "system" after installing the ROM? If so, you are effectively removing the ROM you just installed which leaves the GAPPS script nothing to detect to install. The proper install would be: Flash ROM and the Flash Gapps (usually pico or nano to save space) and then reboot, no wiping in between.
I had this issue no matter what rom I tried after flashing an android 7.0 rom. I just did a factory reset by flashing back to a factory image now everything seems fine and google apps are working again.
I followed this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1907796 but used kit kat 4.4.4 image and didn't lock the boot loader. Then flash the recovery of your choice again and your good to go.

Yes i wiped /system cause after the flash of the ROM when i try to install GApps i get error "not enough space". I followed the tips of a xda GUIDE wiping /system
@dinotyped: Are you telling me that there's no way to have Nougat on my N7? :crying::crying:
@qwerweteryu You should be able to use Nougat roms ok. I've not tried again. I'll likely stick to marshmallow for the time being just because of personal preference.

Stick with "Pico" (or possibly) "Nano" Gapps to make sure you have enough space after flashing the ROM. You can always go back after booting / setting up and install the other Google Apps that you want.

Autorec is just the first step to twrp. Go to https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/twrp-twrp-2-8-0-0-kernel-f2fs-tools-t2898705 and get the bumped version 3.1.0-1.
Then put it in your phones memory, boot into twrp you got from autorec and flash the new version.

Hi,
It seems I have the same issue :
I tried to install LineAge, using TWRP 3.2.1 (from CM12.1), but nothing is working (I tried 20180425 and 20180404 nightly versions). After reboot I can see the backlight on the lcd screen but nothing else. Then I tested the installation of a CM12 version, all is right, normal boot. No error message written in the console. i tried also a CM13 install, same as Lineage.
Do you think I have to flask back to LG "OS" ?

Are you clean flashing? Make sure to factory reset, wipe system, data and cache before flash. Never wipe internal storage. Swipe factory reset again after flash. Try flashing gapps later after confirming that Rom boots fine.

Hi,
yes I wiped Dalvik, system, data & cache through TWRP, before flash. But I don't wipe after, I rebooted without GApps...
Maybe, because I read that somewhere, I need to flash a bootstack. I don't know when I have to di it, if I have to do.
Thanks

Yes, you don't wipe after flash, but you swipe the factory reset, it does not wipe but resets the flashed Rom. Give it a clean shot again. Check MD5 of the all files you downloaded with original MD5 to confirm the file didn't get corrupt.
Boot stack flash not needed. Please read the first post thoroughly in lineage thread
"""
Requirements:
Custom recovery (TWRP or any other)
KitKat (KK) bootloader (included in the lg-devs LP bootstack)
KitKat (KK) bootstack minimum; Please read the entire FAQ for important bootstack information. Installation of bootstacks is NOT recommended.
Clean flash if coming from another ROM or CM 13 (no dirty flash, wipe system too check you bootstack(needen bump support)

I am running resurrection remix mm 5.7.4 with twrp 3.0.2 by kumajaya on my redmi 2 prime with lollipop bootloader( 2014818 Indian 2 gb ram variant )
I lost my miui twrp backups and now my pc is not working too.
I want to install miui on my phone back preferably lollipop miui 7.
Is there any way to do so without a pc recovery itself?
Download the recovery zip file of MIUI by googling it. (Version you required)
If you want latest version.
Then Google 'MIUI downloads' and search your device and download the ROM.
Then head over to TWRP and flash the zip.
It will give error for the first time.
Flash it again.
It will get flashed.
Then hit reboot, and reboot your device.
Voila! Now you have MIUI on your device.
I have successfully installed miui lollipop base on my redmi 2 prime without any errors.
Also I have confirmed from external app and settings the information of the device that it shows the correct device info.( provided my custom showed correct device info ).
I tried installing the miui ROM as sethidheeraj said. I started wiping system artcache cache and data but was not able to install miui after repeated tries
Then I restored my custom ROM backup
Then by following these steps I got miui back :
1 install your custom ROM( I had rr 5.7.4 mm) or restore your custom ROM backup
2 boot to recovery and flash the miui ROM without wiping system partition
3 it will take real good amount of time and the logs displayed on twrp also aren't very long, don't worry it is still being installed
4 just for your surity wipe data and caches and again flash the miui ROM
5 reboot to system and take a drink for a while coz it is the first boot
Tadaaaa
You have your stock miui back
Also no damages to your recovery or anything.
Download twrp 3.0.2.0 of kumajaya twrp because its device model no will be in wt88047etc...not hm2014818...use flashify app tp flash recovery. Img on using ur rooted custom rr remix...boot to recovery... Wipe cache, dalvil, system,data....then make sure Miui lp rom is in internal memory.... Then install it...it will give some error on start....then install again...it will take around 20min for install plus full boot up.

I don't have a video tho but I meant that you should only wipe data and caches but leave system as it is. ( My phone had rr marshmallow installed before.) After rr I haven't tried any custom roms so I don't know whether it will work on others. So just flash miui 7.5 like you would for an OTA but do wipe your data and caches

Download and install TWRP below, it's the 64bit version and you can install via TWRP. In the menu of installing ROMs in TWRP choose the option to install .img, choose TWRP and install, then choose the ROM you want and install. Remember that you must erase everything and format the data.

Flash 64 bit twrp . And don't forget to reboot into twrp again after flashing 64 bit twrp .
This problem is because of your 32 bit twrp.
Try installing 64bit twrp recovery . Then u wil b able to flash rom. Please note that twrp 3.1.0 is 32 bit and twrp 3.1.1 is 64 bit.
Please tell me marshmallow rom

I think its a very common mistake everybody does.
before installing any custom ROM make sure that u wipe Dalvik cache and cache of the device then flash the rom and gaps also.
And another major issue with the custom ROM requirements like that ROM support in one minimum version of TWRP recovery
if u install that ROM bellows the version of requirements the ROM will not install properly.

Download twrp updater from playstore, download 3.2.1.0 the latest as 3.1.1.1 will not mount your storage use twrp updater to flash official TWRP that i mentioned above
Then if you are on stock rom then take backup in some external drive and place रोम and gapps too,
Then do format data in wiping section, do it thrice and then wipe delvik, cache, data, system and internal storage too now mount external dtive(either OTG or SD card) and flash rom followed by gapps 7.1 pico

can u please elaborate bout reflashing rom? i've never done flashing any rom before , stock or custom,

Ok so it's good opportunity to try something new...first you need to download custom rom and gapps package to sd card (always a better option)or internal storage...do the downloads on pc or somewhere else...
1. Wipe cache, dalvik cache, system, vendor, data, internal storage(this one is optional)
2. Mount extsd card
3. Install Rom package...(i personally use xenonhd based on pie) from here https://mirrors.c0urier.net/android...tal/X00T/XenonHD-181007-Experimental-X00T.zip
You can try any other of your choice
4. Install Gapps package from here..http://download2264.mediafire.com/r0vq21tabscg/m1u4llu62bdwyos/BiTGApps-arm64-9.x.x-0.1-unsigned.zip
5. This step is optional if you want root access then flash magisk package from here..https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/download/v17.1/Magisk-v17.1.zip and uninstall package from https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/download/v17.2/Magisk-uninstaller-20180921.zip ......after tge rom boot up install magisk manager from https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/download/manager-v6.0.0/MagiskManager-v6.0.0.apk
6. Reboot to system..first boot up will take 4-5 minutes...ENJOY
so i tried flashing the stock rom but i got an error
Code:
[B] This package is for "ASUS_X00TD" devices; this is a "X00TD"[/B]
i got the rom at asus.com/ph/Phone/ZenFone-Max-Pro-ZB602KL/HelpDesk_BIOS/
i guess i'll try flashing with a custom rom instead?
also a follow up question: is it safe to reboot to recovery with twrp even my phone has no OS installed (already wiped it for flashing a new rom)
