[PORTED ROM] Purity Flare S5 for KarbonnA9+

Note: This is my first ported rom. If you have any concerns or you discovered new bugs, please kindly reply it here.

=DESCRIPTION=
Purity Flare S5 is ported from miniRom S5 of Smartfren Andromax C
=INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS=
1. Download Rom
2. Put downloaded rom on sd card.
3. Boot to TWRP Recovery (if you dont have TWRP, download it from below and flash that first)
4. Wipe Factory Reset
5. Flash/Install the Rom
6. Wipe Dalvik-Cache
7. Click Reboot
8. "Swipe to Fix Root Permissions" sa TWRP
9. The phone will now reboot to System, Congrats

Bug: "Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped."
Fix: Delete "Google Search.apk" from system/app and reinstall it from Playstore.
Bug: Cant Mount "USB Mass Storage"
Fix: Turn on USB Debugging from the Notification Toggles then you can now Mount Mass Storage.
Bug: When turning on USB Debugging, it asks for a password.
Fix: turn it on from the toggles.
Bug: I have fewer toggles than the screenshots
Fix: On status bar, go to Quick Panel > Order > Change the order of any two toggles there.
=FAQ=
Q: Data connection is not 3G?
A: Download "Hidden Menus" at Play Store and click "*#*#4636#*#*" and then change to WCDMA only
Q: Where is my brightness bar?
A: It'll appear if you turn off the auto-brightness.
Q: What is this "System Updater" thing?
A: I'll put ota updates to that sooner.. or maybe here on the thread too.
Q: What performance tweak did you put in this rom?
A: Nothing, people keep changing the tweak so i want users to customize tweaks themselves.
Q: Why "Purity"?
A: i wanted my series to be pure design and features wise. no hybrid designs.

I just tried it on karbonn a9+ and worked perfectly, not sure for a21 thou..

Hi there! Thanks for this post, I'm facing a problem on this rom. The YouTube video is not playing property, only sound is playing there is not video showing, only a black screen. How to fix this problem?

Actually, As A main developer and one of the former Moderators at the XDA & custom ROM developer, I don't recommend this rom.
I respect the work of the artist but it is unstable and it is not anything more special than the most popular CM14 or the new Lineage Os.
It's same like you Install Oxygen OS on a normal android. It will make your phone soft bricked.
Nice job Developer, but you need to work a lot of more.

Sorry Mate i was busy on another projects now my most of projects has been finished i have fixed bugs for another rom and now i am going to implement this patch in this rom this post will be updated inn short time keep your eye on this

[6.0.1] Batman_Rom Note Edge Note 7/S8 [N915G/F/FY/D] v3.0 [3/3/18]

** Hello everyone **
Warning:This operation involves risks. Neither XDA nor I can be held responsible for any problems encountered. Consider making a backup before installing this Rom
I bring you Batman_Rom_Note Edge for Galaxy Note Edge [N915/F/G/D/T] on 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
To flash the Rom you must know what you are doing and you will have to be at least on custom recovery.
* Installation? Instructions *
* Preferable to flasher with recovery twrp *
1. Boot in TWRP
2. Do a full wipe included Data/system
3. Flash rom and open gapps (link in description) and don't reboot.
4. Install the custom kernel (ramkernel v8.1 is best working) for your respected device variant(You can install F on G model also).
5. Reboot and wait 10 minutes to 15 min Finished.
6. Setup your device with wifi (untick diagnostic report). Note:- sim will not detecting in this process. so dont worry. follow the step 7.
7. Reboot your device into recovery and install data fix.zip file for your varient (for e.g. N910G datafix file required for N915G varient) and reboot device. now your sim will be working.
8. open the magisk manager app and download the zip file and then install the zip file from recovery. now reboot again and open the magisk manager. now your device has been rooted.
9. Reboot.
10. you are done.
11. Configure your Rom in the application Rom.Control. enjoy the rom.

Note: AOD is working but there is an issue of negative colours. then you have to restart your device and turn off AOD. if you guys can solve this issue then it will be a big big thanks.
please don't select note 4 camera in aroma installer, select only note 7 camera.
Special note:- when i try to turn on AOD, negetive color screen appears when turn on. negetive colors will gone when you force close the AOD service in applications then screen will back to the normal. Any developer can fix this issue please fix it and let me know. please if any body fix the screen off swipe to edge feeds.

Hi guys, I suppose this rom should be compatible with SM-N915FY. am I right?

my device is n915v, i can not find a suitable kernel. Has anyone successfully installed it on a note edge verizon? Please help me, I would love to try this rom.

yes, it will definitely works on FY model.
just after installing the rom flash your FY model kernel and then reboot your device

Install the emotion kernel no crashes so far with that kernel on n915t

i clean installed this, but nly black sceen is showing with some voice assistant when i click screen
is there any stock rom for N915G

Will this work for the SM-N915K version? I suspect not but no harm in asking. Thanks

flash data fix zip for your model varient. for example, if your model is N915G then flash the data fix N910G. your problem will be solved.

I believe it's just a behavior of FP Gestures. People asked about that in some other ROMs threads. Probably no way to fix this

Thank you for this rom. I liked it very much.
My kb gesture not working, not at all a letdown but just fyi.
Even without setting up fp lock , i can unlock with fp touch with any fingure. As i am not into fp lock, i love this feature. Keep up the good work.
